Great vegetarian satay but could do with more vegetables

Not a big fan of Chinese but after hearing people's experiences of Wong Ming thought we would give it a try. We were very pleasantly surprised. The food and service is excellent 👌. We both had beef chow mein, 5 star for the beef chew mein, very big portions too. Will definitely be back.

Been going here 30+ years and it is by far the best 👌🏻 yes it may be a bit pricey but I would rather pay for good quality & very tasty food everytime, nothing around compares to this place, the curry & special chow mein is to die for. The family who run this place are great. Highly recommended x

9.50 for a very expensive small portion of chicken chowmain without any sauce Completely dry and chicken overcooked ended up in the bin Everyone raves how good the food is well unfortuntaly from the last time i came your standards have gone downhill and I will not be returning

We tried for the first time, it seemed quite expensive, but the portion size reflected the extra cost. If you like salty soy rice then this serves that by default. Wasn’t overly impressed with the choices either as many things you might find on most menus we not on this. The lady seemed nice

Really lovely food; hot and very tasty. Everything was very fresh and nicely cooked. The lady that served me was friendly and helpful too and I can't fault the food or the service at all. The takeaway premises is lovely and clean too.

Tried this place 3 times over the last 25 years or so always based on other peoples recommendations of how good it is. Every time i have been disappointed. My last visit was the best as the ribs were great but the chow mein was average and the curry poor. I think everyone has there favourite chinese takeaways unfortunately this one is not for me.

The best Chinese takeaway! Even after moving 40 mins away we still come back! Nothing compares to the chicken and pineapple or the curry sauce! Both absolutely elite! Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Made an order for 4 chicken soups. They mistakenly only made the 1. Quickly ran back and made the other 3. They were tasty.

Kwong ming more like BANG-ING FOOD....

We had a takeaway from here as a family with the in-laws and children, so a good age range of people. We ordered a mix of items from chicken balls, sweet and sour, special fried rice and chow mein. We ordered other things too but I couldn't eat anything else after sampling the above dishes!! The portion sizes were huge, we had enough left overs left to feed everyone again if we wished! The quality of food was very good, as was the service! I would recommend eating here again

Food is excellent, but it's going up too much every time we go in , it's not a sit down restaurant, it's a damn take away , sorry I won't be returning.

This is probably the best Cantonese takeaway we’ve had in a long time. Salt and pepper ribs were tender, battered and tasty. There were 5 in our portion. Duck with pineapple was delicious and the Singapore chow mein was beautifully flavoured. The noodles were thicker than the usual vermicelli. The star of the show, however, was the flavour of the curry sauce. Truly wonderful. Service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommended.

I have tried every chinese takeaway for miles around.Kwong Ming in my opinion is the best regardless of price or waiting time. Fresh hot delicious food every time...30 plus years experience with their food and never had a below standard meal. Staff could not be more friendly.

Best Chinese around. The curry is quite a small portion and it is slightly on the expensive side but well worth the extra cost.

I’m not a big fan of Chinese food this was the only place open but it was something else pricey but worth it, probably been trying the wrong chinese this whole time or maybe it’s cooked fresh, will order again. Thank you.

Have been going here for over 40yrs, only ever had 1 'ify' meal. The gammon, chips and gravy are fantastic!! I know that's more English than Chinese, but wow. Their chicken satay and egg foo yung are beautiful. Will always use this Chinese takeaway!!!

Best Chinese food a have had. Been going since I was a kid could not fault it grate food good portions so friendly well there is one thing thay dont dilever but it's so good we make the trip anyway.

First time visit to this takeaway mainly because they don’t deliver but reviews suggest we may be missing something ;) ordered our usual dishes and I have to say it was very tasty, good portions and my son likes the fact they sell fortune cookies. I particularly liked the bbq spare ribs :))

We have only been using this Chinese takeaway for around 16 months and have to say that the food and service we find to be of excellent standard. We ring up to order then pop out to collect, the lady serving is lovely, friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, generous portions too. Always a treat when we eat from here, we wouldn't try anywhere else.

Since moving to Accrington from Kent had been looking for a decent Chinese take away tried quite a few but a friend recommened Kwong Ming and boy am I glad he did.We as a family have never had a bad experiance eating food from here it's delicious and fast. Orders are usually ready in 10 mins, maybe 20 at busy periods but however long it takes it is well worth the wait

Amazing chicken Satay. This is my son's go to place for it. Always delicious and plenty of chicken, they don't skimp on anything. Lovely lovely staff, always smiling and polite. Wouldn't go anywhere else

Having heard good things we changed our regular Chinese takeaway and went here -wasn't great,We ordered and went to pick up disappointed with meals,tasteless -warmed up chips awful and meals crap I'll just stick to Manchester from now on because there's not one decent authentic Chinese in lancs

The only issue is a long waiting time and no delivery, food and service are brilliant

I love this place I’m now 49 years old I am still going been going since the age of three years old it’s the best one going but it’s just a pity they don’t do delivery as I be on my own the only way at this moment is placing a order then having to pay a taxi to deliver but if people can’t drive they would be more customers in.

Best chinese food around...very friendly family run business

The trilogy of Ming restaurants is down to just Kwong Ming in Wantagh; once sibling to Mings and Sun Ming. We went on Xmas day-always wall to wall diners. Mgmt did not have adequate help, we waited 1 HR for our soup and egg rolls; and dinner took over two 1/2 hours start to finish. Service being slow the food is ALWAYS excellent and as good as I remember as a kid coming here or Sun Ming in Huntington. Anything in the menu is tasty and well portioned. Be prepared to wait on holidays and weekends

I used to live in baxenden near Accrington lancs 30 years ago.I have lived in Manchester for 30 years and i still go to Kwong ming every Wednesday for the best ever Chinese take away food.Kwong ming is by far in my opinion the best Chinese take away in the country. I would highly recommend kwong Ming to everyone how loves amazing Chinese food.

It's OK. Tried here because I heard good reports and my usual haunt was closed. Food was decent as you would expect for the money but it didn't have that wow factor. Will possibly use again but only if my usual takeaway is closed.

Unfortunately this is my last time using kwong Ming for my Chinese fix.

This is our favourite Chinese take away. Been going to this place for many years. Will not anywhere else. This particular time my husband and I had the beef and mushrooms with the egg fried rice and prawn crackers which was excellent.

Este lugar siempre hace un gran especial arroz frito. Se sirve en una bandeja grande. Siempre ocupado y amable.

Ha sido dos veces esta semana, me recuerda cómo llevar chinos fueron cuando poco. Toda la comida estaba caliente y deliciosa. Señora en el mostrador era precioso un poco de esperar no importa como me dice la comida recién hecha.

I'm really surprised to see negative comments regarding this Chinese.. the foods has always been excellent, the staff are sooo friendly and its always clean and tidy. It is a very popular take away so expected to wait for your order, it is worth it though! My only critic is when the family go on holiday they close the take away

I've been going to Kwong Mings Chinese takeaway since I was 15yrs old. That's a long time as I'm now 57. I hear its still the same family that runs the place so that explains why the quality has never dropped. I've worked all over the country and have yet to go to a Chinese takeaway that comes close to serving up food as good. No need to say anymore. You won't be disappointed.

Placed an order over the phone at 5:55 they advised it would be ready in an hour. Arrived to pick the order up an hour later to be told it would be a few minutes 40 minutes later the food was ready. Appalling! Will not be returning.

The food is always very good and the portions are just the right size. My only criticism is that the prices keep creeping up and soon it will be cheaper to take my family out than have a take away.
