Tasteless drink and desert. Staff was rude, didn’t want to listen to our issues with order. Horrible customer service. Do not recommend to anyone.

This Emmaus is a very good charity. There are a couple of good shops on site selling a lot of high quality second-hand items. The cafe is nice but lacks a table booking system even when ordering food at the till. The atmosphere in the cafe is very good but the food quality and value for money has dropped compared to pre-covid. The second hand shops are spread across the site. One predominantly sells furniture and the one next to the cafe sells a bit of everything else. The staff are friendly and what the charity is there to support. Parking is good, some parts are wheelchair friendly and some are not. The staff are very helpful. One negative is the new donation drop off is hell during busy times.

Booked lunch there online for week before Christmas. When we arrived we noticed some tables had Christmas crackers and terrine menu. Asked if we could have the same but told it is only available for those who had pre- booked. Presumably customers who were telepathic as there was no mention of this option when we booked. How were you supposed to know this was an option? Why is it not on the booking website? Left a bad taste Shame as we are Oakley residents and have been customers there for over forty years.
