In 2021 when COVID 19 restrictions allowed, I made five visits to this first class restaurant. The last two were in December, first with family and the second with friends. Each time was better than the last. The consistent threads throughout my five trips -and two separate ones made by sisters - were excellent food, a wide ranging menu, first class meet and greet, excellent table service and sincere attention to detail by Rana and his experienced team! Hutton does not have many facilities and it is an adornment to the village

A group of us had an evening at The royal indian. The food was very good indeed! Everything was freshly cooked and hot. The menu choices were excellent, with something to suit all tastes. The portion sizes were quite large - depending on your appetite of course however nobody in our large group finished everything. What I really liked was that the meat wasn't tough - like it had been cooked and re-heated, it was just very tender and lovely. The service of food from start to finish was fairly quick. The lady serving the drinks was rushed off her feet as the place was packed and so the drinks service was a tad slow at times. But when she came, she was full of apologies and smiles. The cost of the meal was very reasonable indeed. We will definitely be back here again.

Had a take-away curry from this brand new restaurant today. The place used to be called Cumin but is now under new management. We ordered by phone and it was ready in just twenty minutes. When we called to collect, the place was packed - and with a lot of diners from the indian community, we knew we were in for a great meal. We were not disappointed. The food was hot, nicely cooked and the whole dish was fresh and plentiful. We received a friendly welcome and felt that they were really keen to make sure that we enjoyed our food. We certainly did. If you like a medium dish with plenty of flavour, try the jalfrezi. Absolutely delicious and we will definitely be returning.

Superb restaurant. A hidden gem of Weston! Really worth a visit. No issues regarding visiting with a wheelchair and an assistance dog. Super friendly staff (special thank you to Joel for his food recommendations). It was great to meet the chef and chat about his family and pets. Loved trying new dishes I’d never heard of before. Really good prices. Will definitely be back soon. Thank you.

We popped by tonight 19/12/24 to see what the chances were to get a table. We were greeted by some lovely staff and then the manager who said that he would have a table free around 8pm. We came back , and we were taken to the lovely booth table at the back of the restaurant , indeed the best table in the house I feel! A beautifully appointed restaurant , the decor a gorgeous mix of forest green and gold , low level lighting , velvet booths and lots of faux foliage . Smart servers , stylish menus , great choices of traditional meals along with some signature dishes all very reasonably priced. A comprehensive drinks menu with an extremely drinkable Prosecco. We ordered poapdums chutneys to start , very fresh warm popadums and the chutneys were delightful. Main courses were a Lamb Sagwala ( spinach in a tasty thick sauce , with finely chopped onion , coriander peas and spices ) the Lamb was tender and plentiful. Not swimming in grease/ ghee or overly saucy . A well balanced dish full of flavour with no heat , suitable for a person who prefers a mild / no heat curry A dish of lamb Bombay Flame , again tender lamb extremely well spiced and medium hot, it was very tasty with a lot of sauce. We had the special rice , which was very nice , flavourful dish and in a great portion for 2 of us sharing. The garlic naan was delicious , hot , pillowy , buttery delight with finely chopped fresh garlic . The service was impeccable , the food delicious , the cost was very reasonable. If you haven’t eaten here yet, you’re missing a treat.
