Royal Docks Tandoori in Newham

Would highly recommend. The food is very tasty with good sized portions and it is all very reasonably priced. Ignore the bad reviews.

Fuimos a ver a Calendar Girls y todos nos divertimos mucho. Fue gracioso triste y solo un show maravilloso.

La comida es buena aquí. Ignorar los que odian. No es gourmet, pero tampoco lo son los precios. He estado comiendo aquí durante más de 20 años y no he tenido una mala experiencia. En la noche a mitad de precio, las porciones son un poco más pequeñas, de lo contrario no hay quejas en absoluto.

Vivo en Beckton, y he estado pidiendo mi Vegetal Dhansak y arroz pilaf de Royal Docks Tandoori durante los últimos 17 años. He intentado en muchos otros lugares y la comida es el típico bengalí sobre cocido grasiento y marrón, por lo que ahora uso exclusivamente Royal Docks Tandoori. Mi compañero es jefe de cocina en un restaurante de lujo de la ciudad y, como regla, NUNCA comerá platos de carne de comida tandoori debido a la pésima higiene de los alimentos que la mayoría de ellos tiene. Pero el Royal Docks Tandoori es la excepción a la regla donde pedirá platos a base de pollo, aunque ella generalmente ordena su Korma vegetal, ya que es muy delicioso. El pan Royal Docks ajo Naan también es encantador y nunca seco. El arroz Pilau es húmedo y con buen sabor. El pequeño que posee el lugar también es genial. Él siempre es amistoso si vamos a recogerlo en uno de sus días a mitad de precio, y si mi comida es entregada, generalmente es él con una sonrisa en mi puerta en 30 minutos. No solo la mejor comida india vegetariana en mi área, sino la ÚNICA que usaré ahora. Sin panza Dehli si compras desde Royal Docks Tandoori. Gracias Colin

Atrocious. Although it has seats to sit down and eat in this establishment (which is really just a glorified takeaway), I would strongly advise nobody to stay long enough to ingest what is on offer there. In fact I recommend you spend the money on buying rubber for the soles of your shoes which you should burn in your haste to depart from ever crossing the threshold of this sorry excuse for an eatery. I have lived in the area since 2007 and never bothered to go in there; It is quite clear now that I shall never return to repeat my mistake. I still can't remember what on earth compelled me to do so now. It wasn't even the "half price Tuesdays and Fridays" that drew me in. I think I was just bored with the choices of kebab, fish and chips or Chinese (all of which offer reasonably decent neighbourhood fare: I frequent the kebab shop and the chip shop on a very regular basis, I just didn't fancy either of them particularly this evening). As it is, they have one of those very annoying sunken instep doorways about an inch deep, for the blithely unwary to trip over (alright, alright, I was listening to a talking book at the time!) They've "done the place up" at least three times in my immediate memory: why have they not thought to fill in that gap with a light skim of concrete, or even a one of those bristly doormats so you don't break your neck as you walk in the door? Its probably where they keep the bodies of their victims that don't make it back out the door ... But that is beside the point, as a level floor wouldn't make the food any better. I have never EVER written a bad report on Trp Advisor. Even if I've had a negative experience I prefer to concentrate on the brighter points of my experience. Sadly, this time there are none. To be fair, the staff were polite and friendly enough and they gave me a free poppadom - but the (takeaway) chicken korma was watery and the special fried rice not even quite warm. I decided to microwave the dickens out of it in an effort to avoid the scourge of botulism. I hope I live long enough to see my review published!
