Route 619 diner in Bolsover

We go every sunday and have done for a few years now. We love it we have a breakfast sandwich and a cappuccino. After a nice walk in the woods. The food is always fresh and great quality. Could not recommend enough. Andy and Tanya always welcome everyone and they give it a real sense of community.

I've been going for 6 years and the food has never wavered, it's the best full English for miles with farm fresh produce and a constant warm welcome!

It's just a layby cafe so don't expect more, but if a layby cafe is what you want then come here, it's a great one. Friendly people, tasty food and a range of delicious cakes to boot. And it is very dog friendly with a dog menu 😍 We'll be back 🙂

Called in on Sunday 8th Sept. 1 Large brekkie, and 1 Mega brekkie (the latter shared between 2 adults as it was that big). Fantastic food, nicely cooked and not swimming in grease like some English brekkies can be. Service was done with a smile and very friendly. It's also dog friendly if you want to take your best pal with you also. 10 out of 10 and will definitely be back soon. Thanks.

I love the food always choose my favorite thing i make up my own breakfast n have an homemade desert n a drink Im always happy with my food n the friendly service I always take my dogs for doggy sausages n a walk in the woods Im going for home made pie chips n peas next time its on the menu I would 100% recomend this dinner for a family treat day n walk in the woods You wont be disapointed

Took my dog for a walk in whitwell woods and stopped in on the dinner food was great staff are friendly the dinner is dog friendly.

Everything was good but the sausages were not very good to be honest but everything else was good

I don't like to be harsh but it said dog friendly ,the fellas lets say encouraged us to sit outside and it was not the most pleasant morning ,as soon as we stepped in they wanted to know what our order was ,there was not a menu outside so I did not know what they had so I declined I just had a latte my partner ordered a breakfast cob while I put the dogs in the car . Well the latte came to a damp outside table ,I did not sit down so my behind didn't get wet ,and drank my latte as it wasn't that hot and left him to say he would take his cob to go as we had waited 10 mins already , hats off they do get a steady trade of workmen calling in who seem to get fed quicker ,maybe phone there order in ,on saying all this , I will go back ,I will try again ,but I won't try n take my dogs in as they ain't that welcome inside 😉.....

Excellent place for a bite to eat, very helpful staff, meals are always hot, have a walk through the woods before or after with your dog if you have one.

Lovely food and great value for money. Dog friendly and friendly staff and customers. Good portions. Recommend chip butties and the Liver and onion cob was tasty. A good menu for dogs as well.

Can honestly say the mothers turned this place around! Nicest owning couple you’ll meet, fast and comforting service all while being dog friendly. A bad word can’t be said, running multiple charities, biking events and even competing for cheapest prices under the best quality! Plenty of woods for walkers/dogs and outside sitting for the sunny days can’t say enough, proud of the mother and Andy for what they’ve turned the diner into.

This dog friendly café sells lovely fried brekkie and huge sarnies at excellent prices.👍👍 the full Monty is a big old all day breakfast for big appetites and even doggie can share in the experience with a doggie brekkie. The staff are very friendly too! Thoughly recommended. And there's cake too. 🙂🐕

Had the full English breakfast twice and really enjoyable food, superb coffees. But the best thing was that they were able to do a gluten free full English for my partner. Lovely staff and great for dog walkers enjoying Whitwell Woods. Highly recommend.

Lovely couple that run this business very polite and very clean it is also dog friendly and they also have a doggy menu so you best friend not left out why you eat and also a love wood at the back to walk your food off and walk your dogs food off 100% recommended and prices are decent

Amazing and dog friendly, went in for a few hot drinks before our walk with a friend. Friendly staff, they even have some tasty treats for the dogs. Nice customers who mainly go for the walks too, met some interesting people here! Will definitely be going weekly😁

All you expect from a road side cafe, nice food, big portions, fair prices, friendly staff and a good sausage! 😋👌

The reason I gave it 3 stars is I have never visited this cafe at this point and have worked out a bike ride to which will include this diner. Hopefully will be a regular visitor to this as I don't ride out this way very often but plan to change that. It seems to close a bit earlier than I would have liked but I can plan my timing accordingly. Look forward to many visits.

£4.75 for a small bacon and egg cob and can of coke. How much was the cob £3.75? Nice enough people but extortionate prices. Just read one of the reviews by Omar jaouane and it's exactly the same thought I had as I walked off from the place! Great minds think a like. In all seriousness I was thinking i could have saved money by buying a pig rearing it and then doing the business myself and still saved a bob.

Had a takeaway latte after a dog walk an a vegan sausage cob. Delicious and good chat with the proprietor too!

This place has the tastiest pork cobs you will ever find, no wonder they sell out so fast. I look forward to visiting this cafe more than the dog walk itself! Lovely food, lovely staff. It's an enjoyable dog walk area but we wouldn't visit as much if it wasn't for this lovely cafe.

Always stop on way back from Worksop for a hot chocolate which is delicious and today we were given complimentary slices of lemon cake with creamy lemon flavoured filling, absolutely delicious, we will definitely buy some next time to go with our chocolate. Recommend them for friendliness, cleanliness, and price.

Good quality well cooked food really good cuppa

We have visited this place many times under various owners it is pleasant and always has been.The food is nice but sitting outside with a latte served in very small paper cup at a cost of £3..00 is vastly over priced.This is basically a truck stop charging more than any other place we go in this or any other area for coffee with a lot less overheads..I will vote with my feet.

I have to be totally honest and with out doubt one the best breakfasts I've had made with top quality bacon and sausages cooked to perfection the full monty it was fantastic Shame i live 35 miles away otherwise I think I would have to have one of these breakfasts once a week Lovely couple that run it to very friendly atmosphere

We visit as a family & our pooch most weekends, the food is fantastic & service is super, always with a smile too. Just want to say well done and thank you for still providing us with a takeaway service and keeping us safe whilst under lock down. It must of been very challenging but you’ve done amazing & kept us all safe & well fed!! We expect to queue if your busy which is usual as your so good and wait whilst it’s all prepared freshly for us, our safety has to come first!! See you soon x

Absolutely love this place. The food is amazing and fresh, love the bacon, sausage & eggs sandwiches. We visit frequently with my son who loves to go in and get an ice cream after a walk in the woods. Lovely clean place and friendly people that own in.

Located by Whitwell Woods which is a great place to go for a dog walk. Stopped at the cafe for a snack and ended up having slow cooked beef cobs; they were delicious! Nice patio seating area outside as well as inside seating. The place was very clean and the staff were really friendly. Will definitely be back.

Such a lovely diner to eat at after taking our dog for a walk! The staff are so lovely and the food is great! My doggo loves the Frozzy's and the doggy sausages and I love the cakes so it's a win-win for us!

Lovely breakfast, lovely people running the place. Will be making this a regular thing. Attention to detail is great, hand sanitizer, fleece and cacti for outdoors dining.

We don't usually stop at layby stops but would highly recommend anyone to stop here. Excellent service, great food, immaculate and a very warm welcome. 5 star!
