Extraordinary Lebanese breakfast with labneh halloumi and rose petal jam. Exceptionally nice calm people with a real passion for teas. 22 tea options on the menu.

Rosie Chai is easily found in picturesque Church St at the heart of Twickenham ( great people- and dog -watching from passersby) . The coffee is top class as is the lovely Polish waitress. We often take a spicy chicken wrap home for lunch. Inside the decor is textiles, colour, glimpse of courtyard greenery at the back and knowledgeable quotes about tea on the walls. Tiny place to look forward to.

I definitely will go back as I love fresh Lebanese food but we had simply gone there for a cuppa in the sunshine. I am not a fan of chain coffee shops and would support a local business any day of the week. This place is so cute but the service is a little muddled and slow. But it’s great price wise, far better value than a chain shop coffee or tea and this place has a prime position on Church Street in the sunshine.

I’ve been visiting Rosie and Chai regularly for my lunch time wrap whilst I was on maternity leave. The wraps are delicious and filling and have been the perfect lunch to enjoy sitting by the river with my bubba! Today we had the opportunity to eat in and enjoyed two wrap platters which were just as delicious and as always the team in there are so friendly and accommodating. I cannot recommend them enough and if you are in Twickenham you must give them a try.

My sister has been going on about this place since she visited and I thought to give it a try since authentic Lebanese food is so hard to find in London especially Twickenham! I had the falafel wrap and it gave me all the comfort of being away from home that I needed 🤩 Can’t wait to go back to this dainty place with wonderful owner. Coffee and falafel wrap for £8 - bargain!

The family who run this little Cafe, welcome everyone in. The staff explain the dishes on the menu and which dishes compliment each other. On hot days, you can sit outside at the front and watch the world go by. My wife has the RosieChai special with gilled halloumi, grilled aubergine marinated in pomegranate sauce, grilled courgette marinated in mint sauce, served with olives, hummus, roasted red pepper and Lebanese bread. I went for the Lahm Bil Ajeen baked pastry topped with mince lamb, onion and tomatoes, served with olives, tomatoes and cucumber. Everything about this cafe tells you that the owners love their food and prepare it with love. A must stop if you are in the area.

We visited RoseiChai under slightly odd circumstances in that one of our friends had booked it for the evening for a birthday dinner. If what we experienced that night is anything to go by, then the residents of Twickenham are extremely lucky to have such a lovely little tearoom on their doorstep.Every dish we were served - and they kept on coming - was superb: tasty, generously-portioned and clearly home-cooked with love and skill. Whether it was one of the many beautifully-prepared salads, the roasted vegetables with halloumi, falafel or the various chicken and lamb dishes, each was explained with care and hugely satisfying.Enough to say that we didn't have time room for dessert, something which made us all feel guilty given the generous and welcoming hospitality we had enjoyed during the evening.A lovely, lovely experience - and ridiculously affordable.

I’m a Twickenham resident & have walked past often but didn’t realised this cute little cafe has seating in the back and a pretty garden courtyard. We visited at the weekend, just before noon. There are very nice vegan options, we had the foul Mudammas (fava beans), falafel wrap, hummus and Batata harra (potatoes). These are well labelled on the menu. The atmosphere is friendly and very casual, we weren’t given a table with any speed and the seating space is quite tight (there is a table next to the toilet I’m glad we didn’t have) but the food is 5/5 absolutely delicious and this place is well worth a visit.

I have often walked past RosieChai and wondered what it was like. It is a delightful cafe serving home made Lebanese food. For such a tiny place it has a remarkable selection. We had different plates of mezzes, including hummus, tabbouleh, savoury pastries, aubergine, courgette and red peppers and all of them were tasty. We also enjoyed the baklava and lemon drizzle cake, washed down with a nice cup of tea. Service was friendly and attentive. Worth a visit.

Went there for lunch with our son who is vegan (I am also vegetarian) and it’s such a quaint little cafe which I never knew existed! Lovely courtyard out the back too which can only be used on weekends due to the offices but with the doors open it was very airy in the cafe on a hot day. Friendly service, very tasty food and so many teas to choose from, what a delightful place to have lunch and it’s always good to support local businesses. Try it, you won’t be disappointed!

This is a small cafe serving authentic Lebanese food with vegan options. The lentil soup was full of citrus flavour and the hummus, always my favourite, was delicious. But the baba ganoush - oh my goodness!!!!! Absolutely fabulous! Presentation was beautiful, the taste outstanding. Served with copious amounts of flatbread, thoughtfully wrapped in foil to prevent it from drying out on a baking hot day! Friendly service and wonderful food will ensure this is my must visit everytime I'm in Twickers for the rugby in future.

Visited Rosie Chai today for lunch. I asked if I could take my dog in with me. They said they didn't allow dogs inside but that I could sit outside in the courtyard. They then proceeded to move a table and chairs outside to accommodate us. They offer gluten free bread and wraps so the menu choices are great. Also have an amazing tea selection. The food was extremely tasty and the service was friendly and welcoming. Lovely visit and will definitely be going back. Please do visit - you won't be disappointed!

We stopped in here for a late tea -- they had been very busy just before we arrived, and I can understand why, because the food and tea were delicious. They also serve traditional English tea foods, but we had an assortment of Lebanese pastries that were really, really good. I noticed that the person who reviewed 4 weeks ago said that the service was slow; it's true that it's not as quick as going to a Starbucks, but I have had tea many places, and I didn't think that the service was slower than usual for a tea room. Both of the proprietors came over to our table to help us decide what to order, and they discussed with us at length the ingredients to the pastries, as one of my sons has a nut allergy. So maybe it's that attention to detail that caused the delay for the other customer. There was a boy there who was sitting off to the side, playing video games on his computer, but he jumped up to help the female proprietor find a price for a package of tea I was buying -- so it appears that he's a family member who sometimes helps out. He wasn't very young -- I would say 12 or so -- and I commended him on being so helpful. I have boys that age, and they're more than capable of helping out at a family business. Sorry to perseverate on the previous reviewer's comments, but I specifically came onto TripAdvisor to give this business a glowing review (something I rarely do), and I was shocked that the next most recent review to mine was so negative. In any case, we had a delicious tea, both food and drink, and found the proprietors really warm and lovely. Highly recommend.

Extensive range of teas available plus coffee, hot chocolate etc. Inviting seating area at the rear of the premises. Pricing is reasonable and service is good. The owner clearly knows about her teas and coffees! I had a Turkish Coffee which was superb and my wife had a latte. For us it was a flying visit, but we will be back soon. Note:- If you buy 10 hot drinks you get a slice of cake or cupcake free with your tenth hot drink. This venue has great potential.

My girlfriend and I dropped by RosieChai by accident while walking through the Thames riverside path. RosieChai is a cosy and charming tearoom with a relaxing atmosphere located in a very lovely street in Twickenham. It has an amazing selection of teas, cakes and homemade food. RosieChai is a little gem in the historical Church Street of Twickenham. A very well decorated cosy tea-room with heart-warming colors offers one a happy, peaceful environment. Staff is very friendly. What I most like about the place is the rich variety of its menu. Tea, coffee, cakes, cupcakes, cookies etc. They are serving you tastes from both East and West. They have "blended" the east and west cuisines, tea/ coffee traditions, deserts which really makes a difference. You can have eastern platters or western platters. I quite enjoyed having my very traditional British afternoon tea with delicious finger sandwiches, delicate cakes and scones. I have tried Ploughman's lunch and Lebanese Mezze Platter on my different visits. They also do delicious vegan wraps. And if you want to enjoy your Turkish coffee or tea, they are serving it in a very traditional style. Well I must admit as an Istanbulite that was really surprising for me. Because both tea and coffee are done and served with traditional ways and equipment. It's clear that they have studied their lessons. Thanks RosieChai team for making me feel at home! Will definitely come and enjoy my food on my next visit to London. One more tip for the visitors, the Church Street offers really good time and it's very close to the river Thames. You can walk by the river and enjoy breathtaking views. And you are just next to the tiny island called Eel Pie Island on the Thames that once held The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, and the UK’s Largest Hippie Commune. So when you're in London, visit Church Street of Twickenham, enjoy your food/ tea/ coffee at RosieChai or use the take away option and enjoy your food by the river Thames.
