The owner and daughter both genuinely stink of BO🤢🤢🤢 discusting people both inside and out. The pub itself is filthy ! Would not recommend !!

Didn't have the food so didn't want to bring down their rating, had a few drinks with my cousin. The pool table is the best in Chorley. Slightly leans on the right but the equipment is fantastic.

During afternoon quiet Monday to Thursday, don't know Friday to Sunday as i don't come in due to price increase £2 30 to £4 pound odd

We call here after dancing class for a pint and catchup, and it suits all of us. Sometimes the TV is a bit loud so we can't talk/hear. We left the last Watering Hole because of loud TV. Friendly bar staff.

Great sports pub. Loads of TVs, great location next to the theatre and loads of parking close by. Large pool room and smoking area with TVs outside. Nice pint of bitter and prices are very reasonable

Love this pub one of my favorites friendly bar staff and always a good range of ales

'manageress' Jo was incredibly rude. A young man who was too young to severe alcohol (verbally mentioned to us at the bar) was unable to take our drinks order from behind the bar. Not a good experience unless you want to be shouted at or abused about paying in cash and/ or paying for multiple parties at the bar.

Brilliant beer, cracking atmosphere, great live bands and friendly staff.

Nice staff, decent beers. Toilets were a no go though, no soap, no hot water.... And smelt of an unclean hamster cage.

I would like to say. Travelling from Southport 1st time in Chorley. Came accross this pub and have to say it is the most friendliest pub I have been in for a long time. Can't wait to re visit.thank you to all the staff for makeing us welcome

It was best when kurt was still with us, then went down hill when taken over. Now its starting to come back to life! Some of the old faces are back!

Just visiting I would recommend here for the singer. Best bar for older people , drinks was bit more though but atmosphere made up for it

Traditional Chorley pub has had a modern make over.

Okay this evening, not very busy at 6:15pm ! Lacking some "different" craft / hand pulled ales, the usual 61Deep , Wainwright and Dizzy Blonde. Served beer that was at the end of the barrel (rather cloudy!) , bar staff changed straight away. My question is , should they have served it in the first place? They saw what it looked like when it was pulled !! Decent pub despite the faux pas :)

Called in for a quick drink on Sunday and only 2 people in. Had to go and find the barmaid to get a drink. Was told that a group of 4 people came in and waited about half an hour to get served but gave up and went somewhere else

Friendly bar staff, good selection of ale.

A decent local pub and they often have live entertainment on, singers or groups on. The Friday night we visited at beginning of February had no entertainment on but there was music playing. The drinks prices are ok and probably about what you pay in other Chorley pubs. The staff are friendly and we had a laugh with the barmaid who was working on that night..

This is my favourite pub in Chorley ,because the atmosphere is great the service is very good and the owners are friendly .If your visting chorley then I would recommend to go for a pint at the Rose and Crown it is an excellent pub worth having a look.
