Rose Burger And Kebab Centre in Colchester

Top tier coming back from a night out food. Get it down you lads. The staff were great to talk to, and the food was great and well portioned. Actually melted the cheese on the cheesy chips.

We ordered food to my partners food not to arrive, upon ringing the manager was very rude swore at my partner accused Deliveroo drivers of stealing food. I then called back to be told non of them drive to deliver the food but we can come and pick it up we already said we’ve been out tonight so couldn’t that’s against the law. They didn’t care and rudely hung the phone up claiming I was being unfair and rude to them by asking for them to deliver the food that we were missing. I don’t see that is unfair. They then said pass it on to Deliveroo who would they give us a partial refund? We were just wanting the food that should’ve been delivered but they didn’t care.

Avoid at all costs had a kebab tonight 29-04-2024 Rose special think the name needs changing to not special it was dreadful. Portion size abysmal if the kebab was anywhere near good then you could accept the portion size but this was hideous diet kebab for full fat prices. All meat overcooked tasteless and the salad needed cpr it was that bad. How can you get salad to look so sad. If you want sub standard please order if not use one of the other kebab houses in Colchester or even travel to clacton kebab express is 5 times what this place is and for less money. Rose kebab answer the phone and listen to your customers

Don’t order a takeaway from this place via just eat or any other delivery platform! They will accept your order, keep you waiting for ages then when you ring to find out where or when it’s meant to be arriving they say no delivery drivers are available!

Such a good kebab shop. Amazing service and tasty food! We had the chicken sheesh with pitta salad and chips. Everything was great. Will be going here from now on!

Our kebabs arrived very swiftly and they tasted delicious. Would thoroughly recommend this kebab restaurant. We liked the fact we could amend the salad order to suit individual tastes.

Absolutely disgusted £35 + ordered 4 lge doner kebabs was not enough to feed 2 people. Use to use Rose 20+ years ago never again! Masks they use ain’t for COVID it’s because they are robbing Joe Public! They should be closed down!

I ordered a Mixed Kebab with delivery £16.88, no salad , small portion , cold ... bloody annoyed !! ,

I order frequently from here as the food is always well prepared and so tasty. Tonight there was a mistake with the order for the first time and the restaurant sorted it without any problem, rushing my replacement round to me with an extra large portion instead of the small I'd ordered. Brilliant and friendly customer service. Still our favourite takeaway.

Placed a order waited for over an hour , telephoned to see where order was got told it had left and was nothing there . Paid £28.50 got no food or apology. Turns out it got delivered to the wrong address . Hope whoever got the delivery enjoyed it .

Decided to have a cheeky kebab from Deliveroo, did not disappoint, medium doner and a chicken wrap, absolutely gorgeous food ! My other half always moans at me for leaving food but I did not leave a single mouthful, will DEF be returning 😊👍

Ordered 3 kebabs on Deliveroo. Can’t fault delivery but when ordering it didn’t have Garlic Sauce as an option which wasn’t a problem as we have it but the delivery came with no salad and when we rang to ask why, we were told you have to request it in the notes at the end. Really disappointing and spoilt the experience.

The hygiene was well below standards with flys landing on the kebab meat which was stored in an open fridge, floors greasy, no way would I chance the risk for me let alone my family, very disappointed, did not even order,

We have used Rose Kebab for at least 8 years, and never had a poor meal. The Lamb is always superb, recommend lamb shish thoroughly

This kebab shop used to be one of the best now it’s gone down hill, I ordered a doner kebab with chilli and burger sauce and got tiny bit of chilli no burger.. also ordered chips with burger sauce got chicken nuggets and chips with no burger sauce.. so was charged extra, the chips were awful and cold even tho we had collected and live 5 mins away, ordered a doner wrap with salad and got no salad🤦🏻‍♂️ I mean how much can you get wrong!! Will not be returning..

We have used this kebab takeaway for a number of years, and the quality has always been good, but it's recently had big staff changes (new management?) and it's got even better. We always get a couple of medium lamb shish. The lamb is always superbly tender and beautifully cooked. The salad always tastes freshly made, and the pitta is excellent!

FINALLY...after living in Colchester for over a year and visiting several kebab shops since, I have finally found the best kebab shop in Colchester! And it was on our doorstep all along. Good price, I had a small doner and small chips for £7.60. Big portion sizes for a small. Why was it so good? Salad - fresh, lots of Meat - fresh, tasty, no hard gristly bits Chilli sauce - hot, full of flavour and bearable (sometimes chilli sauce can ruin) Pitta - nice and soft Chips - cooked, slightly crispy (not soggy like other kebab places) No photo, as I ate it too quickly, sorry! 100% recommend. - James (JellyTravelsBlog)

Awful - meat cold and full of fat - rang rose kebab shop and was told ' it has fat in it - but bring it back and they would look at it'

Love the fresh cooked Burgers here. Just the job after a night out in the town. Really nice food all round.

Great Turkish kebabs and burgers served by really friendly staff which hasn't changed in over 20 years. These guys never dissapoint

phoned in an order for collection, chicken kebab and chips x2. collected and returned home only to find we had been given lamb, which we dont eat. Telephoned and they blamed us for the mistake, but said we could come and get the correct order. it was late and not wanting another trip out, and with no offer of delivery, we agreed to return the kebabs the next day for a refund and kebab on the house. returned the next day to be met with them trying to blame us again. eventually got a refund, but they said no to another kebab. serioulsy poor service.

los auténticos kebabs turcos de oferta, no te decepcionará. Para mí la kofte (cordero picada) kebabs es excelente. bueno, también son el cordero piezas y los pinchos de pollo. En cuanto a la Doner, bien si te gusta Doner, entonces está bien, pero para mí las otras ofertas son mejor.
