Pleasantly surprised how nice this little place was. Visited for the first time with friends and would definitely recommend. I will visit again. The Value for money was exceptional. Polite staff and it's dog friendly too

Waited 40 minutes for a cream cheese and salmon bagel and avocado on toast. Not even a sorry for the delay, would like another drink whilst you’re waiting…nothing. Food was really good when it did arrive.

We went here just for a change as we had no previous knowledge, but we were really glad we did. I elected to go for the Soup and a roll option; which was so good I had to do a bow to the "Soup Magician", as it was very clearly homemade and wonderful.

Wonderful little stop for lunch on the way through the north coast of Wales. The service was excellent, even offering a few nice spots to visit in and around Llanberis. Food was 10/10 freshly cooked and the atmosphere was a relaxed environment. Reasonably priced.

Lovely little stop for a mint tea and a slice of sourdough toast . Staff very friendly and cafe very clean. We will be back 😊

I walked into this lovely little cafe today in a bit of a tizz.. car trouble far from home and my phone battery dying and to say the staff where amazing was an understatement.. She could see I was upset she calmed and reassured me and even checked on me… none of this their problem but I can also report the cafe to be clean, quick, tasty and everything it needs to be. Lovely menu and choice fresh produce! Today though the staff get an A* in one of those terrible days they made it better! Thank you xx

Went here for breakfast when car was at garage, really good. Breakfast, nice clean, staff lovely and very helpful, not overpriced, very happily be going back, highly recommend this place.

Stopped in for a snack with my little girl a couple days ago. Ended up taking my food I ordered home in a box & still tasted better than expected, not sloppy or disgusting. Very surprised! I’m a very fussy eater & it was quality & perfection. Thank you for your service

I came to study today and the cafe was so wholesome! They have a lot of tables, some placed extra to huge windows so you get lovely natural light. I only ordered a tea today, but it was served promptly. Service was very friendly, and the place was also constantly busy, which I took as a great sign.

Extremely slow service. Waited the best part of an hour for food to arrive, by which time we were starving. Menu is very limited.

It’s hard to find a place in north wales that sells breakfast this good. The quality of the food, service and decor… love it. Will be back! The avocado was so good! Thank you to the lovely owners mum who’s the chef!

Amazing food and very friendly service from Hayley and the team. I visit here at least once a week as it's dog-friendly and Willow loves the attention!

All good inside, but it was a little difficult to find as we'd only seen it on-line. We got off the bus at Tesco, and it was right in front of us, but the signage wasn't prominent and we walked 100+ yards down the high street before we realised we'd already passed us.

We were in Wales on holiday, saw this place when passing and had breakfast there. Might be the best fried breakfast we've had. Great food, clean and new looking cafe. Food was worth waiting for.

Kind of reminded me of a retirement home, bad coffee, reduced menu but decent food and great service Edited : the response from the owners just shows the customer service isn't as great as I thought, personally won't be returning. It has potential and I wish it all the best but it isn't there yet and also, Abergele has quite a wide range of ages, there's loads of people in their 20s in the area

Waited too long for food once arrived sandwich was fine but don't recommend cheese on toast which was soggy bread and no taste of cheese. Won't be back .

Came here for a quick breakfast before visiting Gwrych Castle. Found this cafe after a Google search. The food was delicious, we ordered 1 vegetarian breakfast and 1 Roots breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place. I also had a fresh lemon and ginger tea and they actually used fresh lemon and ginger which not a lot places do. The vegetarian sausages were really tasty. Service was fast and friendly :)

Stopped of for a coffee after a walk along the high street , before a shopping trip round Tesco. Lovely and clean . Smashing cappuchino coffee. Definitely on the list to call again when next in Abergele. Happy to take cash to ensure cash is still in use for the future

Such a lovely daughter and mother who are working very hard. Their hard work pays off as the service, food and welcoming feeling is just terrific.

We called into Roots yesterday for breakfast. Another delicious meal there and my vegetarian diet catered for seamlessly. Lovely place, nice atmosphere, frendly staff, well worth visiting!

Came here for breakfast and what a find!!! Ordered 2 breakfasts which were lovely nice fresh produce and best part they are dog friendly too!! Nice friendly staff and made to feel welcome will call again if ever in the area.

It was very busy and the staff were not very friendly or accommodating. We were eventually shown a table and told we would have to wait a while for food which was fine by us but then left with no menu or drinks for about 15 minutes. The food did look nice but failing any arrival of drinks we left. Even though it is a small and obviously popular place, a little customer service would not go a miss. They didn't even ask us why we were leaving. Very disappointed. Very small.arra for parking but parking available in the town a few minutes walk away.

Lovely clean environment, rather quiet to enjoy a relaxing meal. Staff seemed friendly, but didnt really see much of them. Food was tasty, but I feel the prices were a bit high compared to other places in the area for the same thing.

Quite a nice cafe/ Restaraunt that was handy for us and open for food and drinks when we needed them, a bit more of variety on the menu than s standard cafe and some very interesting tastes in the good quality food

Really lovely café. The food is really tasty and fresh. They are going to be opened for dinner from January 2020, which is great. I removed one star for the service (the waitress was a bit overwhelmed due to the place being very busy), also because some items on the menu had ran out. The decoration on the walls is very modern (geometric) and stylish, but I think they could have done something a bit more cosy with the furniture. I would definitely recommend this place!

A cafe with a difference for me. No faulting the staff, who are smiley, and friendly. The menu covers everyone, and is well 'signed', with variety for us carnivorous, veggies, and the vegans. Might just be me, some of the drinks are plant based, coconut milk, etc, instead of dairy, if you prefer. Smoothies, fruit teas, 'normal' teas, variety of coffees, including local! I had the Roots breakfast, which cost over £8, but filled the plate, until I got my choppers going! Their 'eggs ben', was also a good size. Dining is available, inside, and out. And spotless. Will be popping back again.

An excellent place to eat. The choice of food is very good,particularly if vegetarian or even vegan. My wife and I had a two course meal. The food was hot,well presented and very tasty also the service was friendly,courteous and efficient. Will definitely return. Highly recommended.

Visited Roots on the off chance there may be a table for 3which there was on Bank Holiday Monday . However the lady seemed very negative advising there was ONLY a table at the back (not a problem) and there was a half hour wait (not a problem). However we felt she was trying to put us off eating there so we decided to leave and she said 'ok'. What happened to customer service?

Food is nice and the place is decorated lovely, it's quite expensive though in comparison to other places. A tea and a breakfast will cost you over £10.00 which is why I only rate it 4 star. Also my large breakfast only came with a single piece of toast where as the other person with me came with two so not sure what happened there. Overall a good cafe with lovely staff but very expensive for a cafe.

Well cooked food. I ordered the Chicken & Avocado wrap with a Coco Loco smoothie. Chicken was done to a tee without over spicing or seasoning. Simple salad to accompany it ( leaving me to choose if I wanted a dressing or not) . The staff were very attentive & well mannered. Highly recommend this place.
