Amazing food as always never go anywhere else

Hard to find a decent kebab these days, but this was spot on. Loads of meat and salad and fresh pitta. Delicious.

It went a bit wrong. They delivered it to wrong address. They were quick to put it right though so happy with the way they dealt with it once they realised the mistake. A bit mean with the salad on the doner on nan. That is sadly pretty common these days. Less meat more salad please. Overall not bad.

Food was on time but some if it cold. Food itself isn’t what it used to be and we didn’t each much of it. Also forgot our drink which isn’t a massive issue but nonetheless didn’t get what we ordered. Won’t be going here again, even though we have been a customer for years.

Used to love Romanos been coming for years but the last couple of times we have ordered the food has been cold the pizza is burnt like cardboard and the meat is like rubber disgusting won't be returning!!!!

Had a large kebab, naan bread was large but contents were not, meat was all soggy and sludgy, would not use again, most of it went in bin

AVOID ORDERING FROM HERE AT ALL COSTS ABSOLUTE JOKE NEVER GOT THE FOOD RANG THEM TELLING THEM I WANT A REFUND AND REFUSED DISGUSTING SCAMMING BUSINESS NEED SHUTTING DOWN. WILL BE MAKING MY REPORTS.

Foot was nothing special especially considering the ridiculously long waiting time. No apology when phoned and no good excuse once delivered. Won’t be ordering again-why pay a delivery fee when they don’t deliver on time.

Kebab was ok but really small for the price, the Sea food Pizza was forgot and left in the shop and then come missing anchovies and a cardboard pizza base and one hour late !! Disappointed first and last time i order from Romano wasted £18 for 3rd rate food !!!

Delivery came on time but pizza was stale like it had just been cooked left for ages. The chips was floppy had to air fry them to get them back to a edible standard and i ordered a mix kebab (lamb and chicken) on naan which was all dry round the edges and the lamb had a horrible mushy texture inside and had a slight fishy taste so that put me off it all the chicken tikka was alright but after the lamb thing I couldn’t eat it defo wasn’t fresh food or ingredients. Used to go here all the time but not been for a year and i won’t be going back.. 2/10 for effort though

The food was freezing when it got here. 4 small chunks of meat and a tiny bit of lettuce masquerading as a salad that looks like it’s already passed through something. It took 30 mins from when it was on its way till when it got here. Disgusting!

Kebab is delicious and reasonably priced the only thing that didnt warrant 5 stars was the wings although they was ok they wasnt the best a slight improvement on those and the food would be 5 stars 👍

New owners, they haven't got it right. Had I read the new reviews before ordering I wouldn't ordered Donner calazon not great, had to put it in the ninja to get the cheese melted. Missing the spicy sauce, ended up leaving 1/2.

Not the best kebab since new owners. Salad was not fresh and chicken pieces have shrunk.

Pizzas were gigantic, shame they were very bad. Toppings were very poor quality.

We have used Romano's for years and have always loved their food and recommended them to friends. Tonight we were very upset with our order. We ordered at 6pm and the food didn't arrive until 7.10pm! (They claimed it would be with us between 6.40pm and 7pm; they told us it was on its way at 18:43 and marked it as delivered at 18:45. We only live 5 minutes away yet the food didn't arrive for another 27 minutes!!! It was stone cold and instead of sitting to eat with my family I spent ten minutes microwaving everyone's food one at a time! The lamb and doner were both totally overcooked and dried out when they arrived and there seemed to be half a portion of cheesy chips in each box. The garlic bread had a really weird flavour to it and for the first time ever there was loads left at the end. (They managed to miss 2/8 of it when they put the cheese on too.) Having read the recent reviews it seems it has changed hands and we aren't the only ones who have been let down. With so many amazing eateries in Tameside now I don't think we will be back. A shame as tonight was supposed to be a treat to celebrate our children's achievements at college and school.

Food was great. Order from here all the time and never had a problem before. Delivery time atrocious... Asked for refund via justeat as it was over 45 mins late.. Stuck in heavy traffic was the reason, despite being after 11pm on a Sunday night. Delivery driver very apologetic and stated delivery was late as he delivered mine last of the orders he had. No mention of traffic. Extremely poor service this time.

Last 3 orders 2 were wrong, burnt and cold Last one got cancelled an hour and a half after I placed the order. Won't bother again!

Forgot to bring free garlic bread and cans

Said they was on there way. When I rang they even left. Said it would be another 20 mins. No offer of extra food as an apology.

Although the driver dropped the cans he did go out of his way to nip to the shop to purchase them. Am missing the mint sauce tho

Food cold after it was delivered 20 minutes late. Wings tasted good. Delivery driver was informed about a missing item, almost laughed and told me to tell them next time and they will give it me then. Been here loads of times in past won't be going back.

Donner wrap ordered meat was cold and dry and ordered hot sauce an didn't come with any sauce. And took well over the estimated delivery time.

Worst service& Rude staff. Got charged £19 for 2 small pizzas - always charged a different price, was a regular customer however will not be returning after today.

Kebabs are huge, and tasty but cold had to warm it, bare in mind im 2 mins away by car!! Chips are so over price £1.60 for a small portion of frozen chips dont know how they justify that!!

I’ve been eating from Romanos ever since I was a kid with my mum. Now I’m a 25 year old man and it’s still my go-to for a quick, cheap and delicious takeaway, it’s as good as it always has been and they always get it right. You absolutely need to try it 🫶

Good place for food, donner is always fresh and rhein pizza are still as good as they were years ago.

Food was well tasty had kebabs and chips only thing that let it down was the kebabs were cold i live 2 mins drive away from the shop so theres no reason it should have been cold it ovs left the shop cold...kebabs were huge packed with meat, chip portion on the small side for the price.

Very tasty as usual. Find no fault with the food I order from here.

Used to love this place. Ordered every weekend but past few times the garlic bread has completely changed flavour, and its awful. Such a shame as this was always our go to takeaway 😢

Garlic bread tasted earthy, pizza was dry as anything, meats on the kebab were very dry also, disappointed as we’re regular customers and today was awful.

We order from here all the time and never really had a problem as the burgers are banging from here. But we have noticed the garlic bread tastes like straight chemical. I’m not sure what they use to make it but it’s like chewing cardboard with a very unusual taste to it. Also the mixed kebab tasted extremely garlicky- like to another level, we couldn’t even eat it. The food was over an hour late which never usually happens so I’m guessing they are busy tonight. Every other time we haven’t had an issue.

2nd times we've ordered from here and both times the pizzas have turned up late and like warm. You could tell by the look of the cheese they had been sat a while. Garlic bread with cheese had no garlic on and tasted awful. Was notified they were out for delivery and turned up 30 mins later

Chicken tikka was decent but the kebab was meh at best and the chicken burger was one of the worst ive had just tasted and looked so cheap

Before placing the order the estimated delivery said between 45mins - 1hour. Once I placed the order the estimated delivery time was 90mins, I was disappointed but was happy to wait as it is Friday night and they may be busy. Almost 2 hours later I have still not received my order, tried to phone the shop but got no answer, now to find they are closed. Not received my order and no sign of a refund as of yet! Very disappointed

No idea how other reviews are saying the food at this place is nice. Put simply, its not. Pizza is a standard 'same as any other highstreet takeaway' job and the kebab was one of the worst I've ever had. Greasy, soggy and looked like the donner had been cooked infront of a radiator. Salad turned to mush. Nope, not for me

It wasn’t the best kebab, lamb was okay, it was small, light on the salad, wrapped in paper not a box. Not a good look. But in all fairness to them, I thought it was coming from a takeaway much closer by. No other issues.

Deep pan pizza was lovely. Asked for double mushroom and chillies. Was lovely and toppings were true to being double. I’ve ordered double before from other takeaways and it’s been pathetic. But here was perfect value for money. Chicken burger was nice. If I could think of anything to improve I’d say add garlic Mayo to the menu

The delivery driver was nice and polite but I’m very unhappy with my order. I have been eating from this place for a few years now but I’m wondering if they have changed owners as the food isn’t as nice as it used to be. I made a order just after 1am and it arrived at 3am. The pizza was undercooked and cold, the cheese was very congealed and not melted and the other toppings were undercooked. And I usually love their chips but they was very soggy with no flavour. So I couldn’t eat much of it. I wish I’d of just made myself something now! It would of saved a lot of time and money

Wrong pizza sent, argued that I couldn’t have the free one I was told I could have last time due to poor quality - NEVER AGAIN, rude on the phone

Was very disappointed with the restaurant having a 5.1 star rating and reading good reviews - donner meat looked and tasted under cooked , chips was over cooked and the crust on the pizza was like cardboard. I’ll be sticking with what I know in future.

Delivery was expected between 8:35&8:55 but didn’t arrive till 9:15. Also for the price of chips you literally get a handful so not good value. All that being said the other items we ordered were lovely. Pizza and garlic bread was yummy (but not the warmest) and the Donna meat was really nice but was swimming in grease so had to drain it before serving.

Food we got was very tasty but some bits of our order was missing.

Very disappointing. Kept me waiting over an hour for lukewarm/cold pizza. Chap I spoke to on the phone said he put it in an insulating bag, but that bag is either ripped or being opened constantly because the pizza was nearly cold. Also, I live literally two minutes away from Ashton so how can it take nearly 40 minutes to get here? Won't be bringing my custom here again, I'm afraid.
