Got some baps and cakes .... delicious as always

They made a regular customer of me everytime i come to skeggness

It is uncommon for me to provide a mediocre rating, however, when visiting a bakery to purchase bread rolls priced at 40p each, I was unexpectedly informed that a minimum purchase of £3.50 was required, or cash would be the only accepted form of payment. This is particularly inconvenient considering the substantial fees charged by local cash machines for withdrawals. While I did enjoy a delicious sandwich on the previous day, the cream apple pie was satisfactory, albeit with a slightly hardened cream texture. The establishment is worth visiting, but only if one is prepared with cash or intends to make a substantial purchase.

Why wasn't you Trev Robinson wearing hairnet when sorting pastry out on Look north? Your hair is long and loose and beard should be covered,its something you need to do it's against rules were food is concerned, l got hairs in my food month ago and can tell you its disgusting, knowing your on TV should have relised so obviously you don't wear hair net .l wouldn't buy nothing from your bakery disgusting.

Found this excellent little bakery it's old style baking every thing on the premises such a shame these delightful shops are slowly disappearing good selection of bread cakes and hot sausage rolls it as a little sandwich counter I had haslet a Lincolnshire delicacy it's a bit like haggis but baked in oven very herby and delicious it's traditional Lincolnshire along with Lincolnshire plum bread( lovely sliced with butter and cheese )Lincolnshire sausage and a delicious beef and herb cold meat called chine and brawn another old Lincolnshire Cold meat enjoyed my sandwich and the visit to this old time bakery revisited had delicious sandwich of haslet and salad truly a trip down memory lane 😋 called in today for their delicious sausage rolls 😋

Amazing cakes and pies. Shame they don't do thick cut on their slicing machine.

The birthday cake for my partner's 50th was made here. It was beautifully made and the price was very good.

Very unhappy to find a bluebottle fly alive in my chicken salad bap, offered free bap.

Had a cooked breakfast here, staff were lovely and happy to accommodate our requests. Food was great bread was delicious. Highly recommend, will be coming again most definitely, lovely little cafe with a bakery 😁

There is always a wonderful selection of cakes plus hot food. Everything is homemade and delicious.

A proper rustic bakery with excellent baked items. Good value also.

The food is alright but due to mistakes that keep getting made with the orders I am rating down. First time I was shortchanged second time they went to put the wrong type of sausage on the cob.

Called in for a small loaf of bread, quiche looked tasty do bought that as well, then there was a cream slice sitting in the chilled counter so bought that as well The quiche was lovely, tasted fresh and pastry was light, the cream cake was absolutely divine, the cream was proper thick cream not the stuff in supermarkets that are full of air and the bread was fresh. All social distancing adhered to and surfaces were all clean.

Great food, friendly hard working staff

I have been using Roman Bank bakery since I came to Skegness in mid 1970's , their bread and cream cakes are always of the highest quality and so delicious. When friends and family come to visit, they all agree that you can't get better anywhere. In fact, when we go to visit them, they ask us to bring a box of cream cakes!

Good selection of various sized sandwiches made to order, along with salads etc. They have a good selection of breakfast sandwiches, bacon, bacon and egg, sausage etc... There is also the usual stuff you get from a bakery, bread, cakes, pastries. You can also have cakes made to order for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries etc... The staff are very friendly and the prices are reasonable. The only down side is the parking, which can be difficult at times, especially in the summer as they only have road side parking with a limited number of spaces. As well as the Roman Bank Bakery, there is a mobile sandwich truck which visits various places of work, where you can also pre order things for. Very filling satisfying sandwiches, well worth a visit.
