Petes Chippy in East Lindsey

Good food with a good variety of choices. Good portion sizes and good value for money. Friendly and helpful staff. One of the best chippies in the area.

Was very busy (not that this is a complaint) Chips were undercooked and fish was okay. Nothing special. Mushy peas were luminous green. Portions were big and reasonably priced.

Very average food. There is nothing to write home about this basic of chippies. I've been once, and that is the first and last. Since my visit, that was poor. PART 2. A massive change to the standard has appeared. I have had several small meals recently. The standard was brilliant, red hot, fresh. Great value for your dosh. I must admit it is the BEST BY FAR. Go and visit Pete's.

Awesome food at great prices I fed a family of 5 including 2 Teens for less than £25. The Yorkshire fishcake was amazing the portions are what I would call old school a large portion of chips is really large but the quality of the food is excellent. The staff are really friendly and chatty I would highly recommend Pete's to anyone and I'm gutted we found this on our last day.

Very cheep nasty nuggets chips were very bland possibly undercooked sorry

Cash only..closes at 9pm.Absolutely fantastic value kebabs..massive portions..Went often during my stay in Skegness..Highly recommend this chippy..fair prices too.Chicken kebab so good..gonna miss this treat.Staff superb..don't be tight and leave tips.

Excellent chippy. £5.50 for fish and chips. The fish is huge and cod.. Nice batter not to greasy, good flakes of fish.. Solid 10.

Thought we would try it , we won't be going again . Fish had been cooked awhile ago, chips were a soggy under cooked mess, and it looked like someone had trodden on them. Good points, nice gravey and mushy peas staff were great .

I’ve never written a review before…but feel I have to here. We chose this chip shop after looking at previous reviews and stars, however my review couldn’t be so opposite? The chips taste like they’ve been sat in warm oil, not a single bit of texture, soggy, undercooked and oil that sticks to the roof of your mouth. So gross we didn’t eat them. The batter inside the fish was raw? Yet the fish was dry and overcooked. Have to say it’s the worst fish and chips we’ve ever eaten 😩 absolutely gutted🤣🙈

Food is OK, nothing particularly special for a chippy. However it is very cheap, can't argue the prices and the staff are welcoming and chatty!

Always great fish and chips from this Chippy. Whenever I’m down at Ingoldmells or Skegness we usually end up calling in for the Fish and Chip specials. At £5.50 each they are good value for money and include a pot of Curry, gravy or peas/beans. They call them “mini fish and chips” but this really is a disservice to the name as they are a generous size portion and enough for most kids and adults. The only thing to know about this chippy is they are cash only which is a bit of a pain since most cash machines in the area charge for withdrawals. Apart from that, it’s all good! 😀

Learn to cook fish!! Disgusting old grease full of burnt breadcrumbs. Nuggets were full of grease, it was even running off the paper as I opened it. Chips were covered in old breadcrumbs... £22 in the bin 😡😡

Quality and value. Great traditional fish and chips Great portion size and prices. Very nice chips and the fish was cooked perfectly. Gravy was thick and curry sauce was perfect. We will be back as I like my fish and chips and we are up Ingoldmells regularly for weekend breaks with the kids. I can highly recommend this chippy and it's worth a visit.

Just loved everything about the place

Enjoyed my food here, fish was very good as was the curry sauce however I found the chips a little anemic and could have done with another minute or 2 in the fryer. Friendly service with a smile however it is cash only.

Best chippy in the whole UK! Mini fish and chips with a pot of sauce, beans or peas, 5.50! And the quality is outstanding, they even put extra half a fish on mine and my sons as they weren't happy with the size of the mini! Been 4 times this week 😂

Been on Kingfisher site many times. Never found Pete's chippy on Coastfields open. Says OPEN and you bust yourself up getting to it only to find it isn't OPEN. Take this off your post you are misleading people.

Just had fish chips and peas chips greasy and not cooked properly. Fish was warm batter was disgusting. Won’t be going back dinner in the bin.

Was horrible two mix kebabs was cooked in microwave chips wasn't cooked still hard in middle wants shutting down wurst chippy never again stay well clear

First visit here and local to our accomodation. Purchased one of the £5.50 specials. Good value for money, tasty and cooked in beef dripping. Going forward, staff should wear hair nets at all times.

Petes chippy is an okay spot. The portions were large, but the food was nothing special. I had heard good things about this place so we decided to check it out, but it didn't live up to the hype.

Just came back from skeg Vegas and yet again Pete's chippy is the best around great food at a great price plus great portion size it's a must visit!!

This is a cash only shop, so be prepared. A lot of the local cash machines charge £1.99 for a withdrawal. Next task is to find Petes Chippy, tucked away in the Coastfield Holiday Village. When you find it, you’ll need to join the queue. It seems to be quite a popular spot. We ordered the standard fish, chips and curry sauce. The fish was light and chunky, the chips were the perfect mix of soft and crunchy and the gravy was thick. 👌🏻 Portion size was spot off, if a little too much. Overall a great meal.

Pete's chippy is a hidden little gem on ingoldale caravan park. Brilliant staff very polite.. The food is very reasonable, alot cheaper than most. Donner meat and chips are a must again at £5 it's alot cheaper and the portions are plenty. Fish and chips are cooked to perfection!! Will definitely be paying another few visits to Pete's chippy when we return.

First time going and food was lovely

Not the best experience here woman serving real bad attitude..asked for chicken nuggets that were sitting g in the heated oven but was told I can't have them as she was taking them home this is at 9pm and they shut at 10pm missed half of order and her response after telling her what you want me to do about it.. maybe just my experience was poor so for me will be looking else where and food prep there wasn't any literally threw in a box.

Looked on line to see if it was open. It said open till 11.30. But went round and it was closed. No phone number.so the on map for local chippy was misleading.

fortunately we come every weekend to Petes for fish and chips shop 🍟 fantastic but unfortunately tonights wasn't the best at all,fish was greasy and batter on fish so soggy was unbelievable . When I took out of the bag the fat ran all over kitchen floor and all over my oven and work tops as I say hopefully this is a 1 off would of taken back but others was eating and didn't want there's to go cold

Have used this chippy a few times, very good as a rule, however yesterday the fish had been kept warmed up for so long it was dry and hard. Very disappointed with that, chips were great but that's the less expensive part of the meal

Very nice chippy, gets busy at times, we went in at 10pm and there was a cue of 13 people. Everything looks very clean and tidy. We had kebabs and for £4.50 you got plenty, served with salad and a sauce of your choice and the kebab meat is gorgeous!!

Was not so good chips was a bit to greasy and not done properly the fish was a bit to had.Also the curry sauce was to dry it was a bit luppy so you could not pour it on your chip rating gone down
