We had the best fish and chips at Flippers. A Very fresh fish product and tasty, and the chips were crispy fried. Usually I can't stomach fried food but I polished all my plate and had no digestion problems, that means the oil must be fresh.

Lovely chips and fish the kids love a cone of chips from here with a sausage deffo worth a visit

Called at flippers today with a friend we had the haddock, chips and peas special and a cup of tea it was the best fish and chips I have ever tasted the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely go back again .

Visited here with the family on holiday and is the best place for fish&chips in my opinion been coming to Skegness for years and and tried most places but this is now my go to place for fish & chips best buy far.

Excellent service but the food was greasy, which left an oily taste in your mouth for ages.

Would recommend 👍🏻 we had a small fish and chips x3 with peas/beans, two cups of tea, a milkshake and six slices of bread and butter for just over £30. The small fish and chips is more like a standard adult portion. The fish batter is light and crispy and the chips were good too. I found the cutlery clean and the overall place appeared clean also. Nice, comfortable seating . Good mix of young and old folk. There is NO TOILETS although there is a public toilet just a couple of minutes walk around the corner but will cost you 40p.

Been today, the food and the service was excellent I’m not much of a fish and chip person, but I had The meal deal mini fish chips and mushy peas with a drink today and it was excellent value The fish was, For a mini fish large, plenty of chips and peas, right consistency Service was excellent, the people who run it are lovely AND THERE IS A TOILET

Been to Skegness through business and normally come with my wife. We both decided to go to Flippers mainly because it was out of the way of the main front. Must say i was very suprised by the quality of the food and how good it was. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make the experience extra special. This truly is a great find in the sea of similar businesses.Cannot stress enough how good Flippers is and the food is far better than most places that charge double the price.I would like to thank the hard working staff at Flippers for making my Visits to the area that extra bit special.

The best full English breakfast in skegness, I recommend the greedy gorger 😊 staff very polite and friendly as well.

Well what can I say apart from absolutely Brilliant, me and my friend had arrived in Skegness and we was hungry so we came across Flippers, ordered two Gorger breakfasts and sat outside with my staffy who was also sniffing all them aromas of food. Well what a breakfast it was nicely cooked well presented and plenty of it. Top marks all round.

This is my favourite Skegness chip shop and the lady and her husband are so friendly. The food is fantastic and is of a good quality aswell. I look forward to working in Skegness because I know I get to eat here. Cracking food and cracking service for a great price. Lovely.

The fish was full of oil and didn't have any taste .....the lady that takes the orders for the take away has no manners....... Expensive and not good.... I don't recommend

I don't come to Skegness often but when I do I always call in at Flippers for their Greedy Gorger breakfast. It's always great food at a great price and it's conveniently located not too far from the railway station and the coach park. If you're in Skegness for the day with work or even for a holiday I highly recommend calling in at Flippers.

Was looking forward to some decent fish and chips after long drive to Lincolnshire and was not disappointed! Excellent chippy!

Absolutely fantastic hidden gem off the seafront we had the large cod and chip meal deal was so worth the money £20 plus tea for two ok yeah you might pay less on the seafront however the sizes are not to be compared, our lunch was massive and freshly cooked, staff are really lovely and friendly would definitely recommend them. Not your normal generic wham bam there's your fish and chips. We also saw what others we're getting and the food looked great.

Food was good ordered large haddock but was just a regular size.Staff were friendly and efficient and the dining area was ok.

Just had fish n chips here. Gorgeous batter lovely crispy chips. Ya cant beat it. Plus its almost closed seasin and their open at 11.30,not like the ones up on sea front, lol. You snooze you lose.

Nice staff however when we tried to get a table they were all soiled, until we sat down and a girl came to clean them. I had to ask her to clean ours please and got a Huff. The place was empty apart from 2 tables. We had the special was chips, small fish, peas with bread and butter with tea or coffee which was nice. There's plenty off better places to eat. Just a bit further down.

Lovely nice clean cafe and tables cleaned very shortly after the customer has left. Food was really good but not very big portions for the price. Also the bloke who brought us our food was a bit miserable and not very friendly

We came here on Friday, the 15th of July 2022.we were looking for a fish and chip shop that was as good as Waldo’s and boy did we find it. This place is wonderful, the food is first-class the staff are so friendly, helpful, and polite. It’s a shame they’re just not in Bradford cos we need a chippy like this it was amazing the staff should be so very proud of themselves.

I highly recommend this place for fish and chips in Skegness. The food is really nice! I had a cheeseburger just on it’s own, and my partner had cod and chips meal deal. You get a lot for your money and his fish was fantastic. Will eat here again if we come to the coast.

Flippers is a place for great service and great food at a great price, there famous greedy gorger breakfast is to die for so is there home made steak pie and traditional fish and chips, you won't be diserpointed

Best cup of tea i have ever had there food is delicious my family had there greddy gorja 3 of them 1 kids breakfast 1 bacon and egg bap with extra hashbrowns and a pot of tea and coffee Dr Pepper coke and Fanta only For 29 pound 95 I honestly think everyone should go there and the have the best staff very kinda and make load of Jokes

Great food at a good honest price

Absolutely vile went to Skegness for a night away with my partner went to this place he only had chips and a cheap fishcake after an hour we had to go back to hotel as my partner was violently sick he had to stay in hotel room all night ruined our complete trip never again my advice to everyone is do not eat here 🙃

I went there today with my family, after waiting for 5 minutes for service a miserable lady (no smiles and looked irritated for taking her away from whatever she was doing) said yes! I ordered cod, chips, mushy peas and bread 4 times with 3 teas and 1 Pepsi, the drinks were served almost straight away we then waited half an hour for our meals and the place wasn't busy!! It would have been nice to have a drink with our meals but I noticed they did the same with drinks for other customers and their meals came considerably later. The fish and chips were good, with friendlier staff and drinks with our meals I would have given 5 star. if you don't like people or your job don't work in customer service.

we had to ask for our one of our hot drinks and we asked for 2 glasses of cold water and we got warm water and the attitude of the staff was not friendly at all

We used to rate Flippers quite highly however on the last few occasions it hasn't been what it was. I ordered a battered sausage and was brought out a plan one I asked for the battered sausage as I requested and told I would have to wait 10 minutes. Tables always need clearing when you sit down, service has got a little slow also. Service seems to be higher for your older clientele.
