Oh my god the food was really really good. We had the mixed grill and the lamb was the most tender tasty lamb I’ve ever had!!! And he was so kind he gave us free cup of Turkish tea after on the house. The atmosphere made us feel like we were in Turkey. The food was really really exceptional. The bread … oh my goodness … and the humous so clearly all home made everything so fresh.

Unfortunately, l had to cancel a booking of 10 people in January due to ill health at short notice. This restaurant was very understanding, so l rebooked for February. I'm so glad l did, as the quality of the food and service was of an extremely high standard. Every one of my 9 other guests did not have one complaint. The restaurant layout was very good and clean. It really made my belated birthday special, and l look forward to visiting this restaurant soon

Great. Our first visit. Food exceptional. Great service and we had some advice on what to order which I'm so glad we did. We were not rushed and although I didn't have dessert we finished off with some Turkish tea. Will definitely return and bring friends with us next time.

Very nice restaurant, been there before and I’ve always been most impressed with their food and their excellent service. Really recommend their grilled sea bass if you like fish, in fact, it’s the best restaurant for grilled fish, so tasty. If you’re not keen on fish they have a vast menu to choose from other than fish. Every time I go there, they always make you feel most welcome. Give them a try, you will impressed.

Spent a very pleasant evening with a group of friends in this restaurant tonight. It was my 1st visit & the food was excellent. Service was good too . I was with a group of about 20 so it's easy to get mixed up with that many people but everyone got what they ordered & quickly . Choice of menu was extensive. I had starter and main. Was too full for dessert Will definitely be visiting again .

We had a throughly enjoyable dinner this evening. The food (we had the sharing platters) was excellent & plentiful and the service was very helpful without being obtrusive. We will be back.

This was our first time at this restaurant, it is actually a great size, it’s not too small so you feel crowded, it’s not so big that that staff can’t cope, we had an amazing meal, starters perfect, main perfect, desert was perfect, the staff were superb the food was fantastic, I only have one thing to draw to their attention, if you want chips instead of rice it’s £3 extra, not a lot but feel it should either be an option or a £1.50 supplement say, minor thing but I noticed it, would I recommend definitely, will I go again 100% try this restaurant you’ll love it

Another superb evening. The "icing on the cake" was they agreed (at our instigation) to modify a menu item. Grand-daughter loves pasta, but not keen on shellfish. They readily agreed to modify their offered Prawn Linguine to Salmon Linguine, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Service and attentiveness was faultless - we look forward to next time!

Visited Rokka as we'd heard it was possibly one of the best Turkish restaurants around the Bedfordshire area - we were not disappointed! Really lovely place. Great food, fantastic service and lovely lovely staff! We will definitely be making return visits! :-)

Right from the start there was a rudeness from the owner/manager suggesting we weren’t being clear enough with what dishes we wanted. A main arrived instead of a starter and then after quite some time the mains arrived and most were cold. One of our group was given incorrect information about her dish meaning she had to have a different meal which was served up after everyone else had finished theirs. She was also told she had been fully informed at the beginning about the dish which she wasn’t. The main waiter seemed to be a young boy and we had to ask the staff twice for a jug of water. We asked for the bill several times and when it was incorrect there was no apology, instead we felt like we were a nuisance. The restaurant was basically empty and I think the terrible service may actually explains this

I have eaten at many Turkish restaurants, it was simply amazing, my children liked it very much, thank you very much, everything was as we wished.

The food and service were excellent, we were greeted very sweetly and pleasantly, they welcomed us as if we were in a five-star hotel, we ate, our children also made packages, we couldn't get enough of the vegan food, thank you very much, your sincerity and our meals were excellent.

Exceptional polite and friendly service, our order was taken promptly and the food was delivered to our table lightening fast. The dishes appeared to come straight from the hot coals and were freshly prepared. We ended up ordering 3 courses and highly recommend Rokka.

Third time visiting and yet to have a positive experience.. Went with friends as they wished to go I cant understand why its rated so highly.. Cold food although restaurant not busy. Staff not helpful .. Bill at end wrong. Lovely cup of apple tea at end but couldn't wait to get out.

Whilst on this occasion because of our friends coming from afar... Opted for Delivery... The food & service is Second to None... The food Supreme and delicious... And delivered as from the oven... We will be coming into the restaurant in future based on our brief visit to make our order... The Welcome and greeting through the entrance a reflection of what derive should be these days... Absolutely the best food and service in rushden

We booked as we had read reviews about excellent food. The place was quite empty. We were put in a corner in a very corporate space. Did not really reflect the cuisine. Service was haphazard. We were given a starter that was not ours and...

This is quite simply the best Turkish Restaurant I have visited in the UK and I am a great fan of Turkey and Turkish food. Family run, home made, well presented, well priced, extremely tasty, great portion sizes, rapid service, friendly conversations. It was..and I say this as someone who visited over 80 cafes and restaurants last year... the best so far this year. Faultless.

Excellent food served by very friendly staff in a nice clean environment. We had the meze starters which were delicious, followed by the Roka sharing platter for two. The meats that were served on a bed of rice were excellent! Large portions, but definitely not quantity over quality. We will definitely be back to get our Turkish fix soon👍🏻

This is my favourite restaurant! The food is authentic and utterly delicious and you are treated as a dear friend. The service is second to none. My husband forgot his reading glasses - no problem! The owner had a spare set behind the bar! 😀 It's family run and that gives it a whole other feel. It's so great to have somewhere so great that isn't a chain.

We went early in the evening so it was still quiet. Choice was very good and service excellent. We had a meze to share which was delicious and we didn't leave anything. The main courses were fabulous and not over facing. I still felt full though. My wife had baklava to finish with and didn't share! We'll definitely go back again. They also do take away if you live within a certain radius.
