Absolutely will go back. Staff and service were very friendly and accommodating. The food was wonderful. Specifically, the Cod dish and the black pudding dish. Good place for a date night.

The meal we had here was excellent. The only problem we has was deciding which one we liked best. The flavours were of an authentic tapas bar with each dish perfectly executed. The service was fast and the owners have created a very warm atmosphere, chatting to the customers much as you find in Spain. I look forward to eating here again.

Beautiful restaurant, amazing food and friendly staff, my self and my partner went with a friend and our children, I particularly loved the seafood dishes and there was plenty to choose from and share around the table!

We went here with our children, a friend and his children, ranging from 10 to 4 years of age, 9 of us in total, the atmosphere inside was really enjoyable and welcoming. The food was incredible, including desserts. Would recommend the meatballs. The host was really good with making the children feel comfortable too. Thank you for a memorable evening.

Recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. Family run authentic Spanish Tapas. All the food was amazing but the ox cheeks were out of this world. Would highly recommend. £20-£30 per person including drinks. Definitely worth a visit. We will definitely be going back. Went to La Estrella with friends, from the moment you walk through the door you are made to feel welcome. The food was excellent, very tasty, hot and plenty of choice. There was a great atmosphere, with music playing in the background but not too loud so you could hear each other. The staff were great & friendly. I will definitely be going back & recommend this restaurant.

Me and my partner had dinner here tonight and WELL we were very impressed! The quality and price of all the food was amazing, and not to mention the lovely owner and the team. We will definitely be traveling back from Cambridge for more of those tapas! 🤩🤩

My wife and I wanted to see if this was as good as it sounded. We were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lady who served us was also very knowledgeable about the dishes. The food itself was absolutely delicious. All in all it was a beautiful meal and a great experience.

I came here with a group of 3 other guy for a friend's birthday. However we came here after a disastrous dinner across the road at the Turkish restaurant. The host welcomed us with open arms, poured the Estrella and provided us with about 10 dishes of spanish heaven. Anyone local or visiting the area of Rushden, id highly recommend visiting La Estrella. Felt like being in Spain and you are made so welcome. Great little find. 👍🇪🇸

3 of us visited here last night for the first time , it certainly wont be the last ! The service was excellent and the man who served clearly enjoyed his job. The food was first class and there were a number of dishes we had not seen before. Excellent value as well. We will be back and introducing more friends to this delightful tapas bar.

If I could give 0 I would Shocking service Food sub standard microwaved Hairs in food , looked like dog hairs. The most non authentic Spanish eatery. Manager rude and aggressive when constructively criticised. Bar staff drinking on the job and kitchen staff drinking a pint as cooking. Avoid like the plague ! EDIT I’m very confused as to the reply to this post I came with my partner and we had Different items as mentioned here and we certainly do not have a son. We visited a few weeks ago. So maybe have a re think on your response as I feel you have the wrong client. Clearly constructive criticism is not allowed in your establishment as we tried it for the first time , we were very disappointed despite the reviews before.

This was my second visit to La Estrella and I can 10000% confirm it's my favourite restaurant ever. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The owner is absolutely hilarious. He made our friend a special birthday cocktail which was rather potent🤣 The food is unreal. I'm the kind of person who gets bored of one main meal so to have a tapas suits me so well. I went to this restaurant for the first time with 5 other friends. The food was absolutely beautiful. We were able to order as and when suited us, the service was prompt along with a smile and with a genuinely love for what they do. They provided us with a different experience to what you'd get in a chain restaurant. I'd highly recommend and I'll definitely be returning.

We travelled 45 miles to this restaurant upon recommendation, It did not disappoint at all, It is a cosy rustic place full of a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere with very attentive and dedicated staff, the front of house lady was just incredible at her job and a true credit to the place, we ordered several Tapas dishes to share and each was as delicious as the next ( the braised ox cheek was outstanding), Although they are a 75 minute drive from home I would 100% visit again, Thank you for a pleasant evening celebrating my wifes birthday and we will be back soon.

A nice tapas bar in Rushden serving some nicely cooked traditional dishes, plus a few I'd not seen before. I sampled 5 dishes which were all very tasty... the cod and beef cheek were particularly good. If anything I'd say that portion sizes are small (even though they are supposed to be 'small plates'), but they are reasonably priced.... meaning that you need to be prepared to order more of them. The restaurant is small and traditional and you'll def need to reserve as you edge towards the weekend. Staff were very pleasant and attentive, but not overpowering. Overall I'd definitely return. It's great to see an independent restaurant doing so well, in an area awash with stale chains.

What a lovely little place to stumble upon! Food was lovely and so fresh. My only grumble was my friend is partial blind and the waitress told him to hurry to pick what he wanted as it was busy :( however I asked for another waitress to serve us and everything was perfect from there on 💕

Amazingly tasty authentic tapas. Booked a table on the day and got in OK. Order a few plates twice which filled us up. Staff were great with allergy info and checking In with the kitchen. We left full and happy after a nice relaxed meal. The only downside was I found it a little noisy and hard to hear hubby or waitress talking.
