Rockies Restaurant in Fife

Firstly, many thanks for hosting my wife’s 70th birthday party on Saturday 9 November. Everyone that was present (32 people) was full of praise for the quality of the food, the service and the superb venue for such a party. We cannot praise your restaurant highly enough. Many thanks again and we will return.

Great food with lots of different dishes to choose from. The Rockies is always reliable for consistency with the quality of food. Nice wee restaurant with a cosy atmosphere and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Service was quick but not rushed. Between us we had a good selection of dishes and all were delicious and reasonably priced.

Food was amazing. For starters we had goats cheese and the mussels. Both were absolutely delicious. For the main course we had haggis and leek beef olives and the burger. Again both were delicious. All food was presented beautifully. Great setting with lovely views. Staff were were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Will be back. I thoroughly recommend coming here to eat, you will not be disappointed.

In Anstruther while taking my daughter to uni. I felt a little unsure since it looks like a cafe for the golfers. We ended up staying and returning two days later to sample more delicious food. The menu is small but the food is so good!!! The best venison ever had, but the seabass was just as good. Amazing starters and dessert, too. St Andrews Ipa is a must!

Rockies does really good quality bistro food at extremely reasonable prices. We only went there because many of our usual restaurants are closed on a Tuesday. However, it was great service and really delicious food. I had the fish cakes to start and my wife had scallops. Both were excellent. The scallops were particularly well cooked. My mackerel main was also truly memorable and my wife equally enjoyed her ox cheeks followed by sticky toffee pudding. The bill was £75 including 2 glasses of wine and a coffee. Really reasonable for such quality food. Rockies is slightly outside the centre of Anstruther but well worth the trip.

We had chance to have dinner at Rockies during our recent trip to Scotland. We found the restaurant to be warm and inviting, a comfortable setting with friendly waiters and good service. Not surprisingly, the menu mostly features seafood. We had the hake - very good, and the Sea Bass - fabulous. Don't forget the haggis appetizer! Recommended

Came here on a busy Friday night when many of the eateries in Anstruther had turned us away - and we were so glad we did! From the excellent waitress service to the quality of the food, we were most impressed. Best of all, the portion sizes were spot on. Thank you - we loved it. Highly recommend.

Came with some family to celebrate a wedding anniversary, was sat by the window so we enjoyed some stunning views of the Anstruther harbour and coastline. The food was delicious and was prepared relatively quickly, I had the fish cake with tartare sauce and i thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was very good, staff were kind and kept good watch of their tables, including ours. Overall a great spot for a high quality, very reasonably priced meal!

Had the best Sunday Roast ever. The roast beef was so tender, roast potatoes perfect as was the jus. Lovely staff and nice restaurant. Very reasonable price for 2 or 3 course dinner. Can't wait to go again. Would highly recommend.
