So good! Classic english breakfast, mix and match options. Tuna baguette very good. Very reasonable prices. 10/10 recommend, perfect neighborhood cafe.

Do you fancy a bag of tea? Toast when you ordered fried bread? Hash browns that look like they’ve gone 10 rounds with Tyson fury? Chips that are colder than they were in the freezer? Bone in the sausage? Then this is the place for you. Rubbish. The “chefs” involved should be ashamed of themselves and need to take more pride in their work. Bunch of overpaid wastes of space.

Basic, but good quality & great value food. We had a couple of No Meat Breakfasts & they were spot on. The guy taking our order had to query our order with who I can only assume was Eddie & he is an amazing bloke - courteous & funny. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely place to go, esp if u fancy some wagon wheels, and a cheeky chin wag with some friendly characters. Old school and family owned don’t get many like them any more 10/10 over all

Great caf that has a real community feel filled with lots of characters. Fairly priced salt of the earth food to help with any ol’ hangover.

Terrific breakfast and pudding , great value very clean

Wanted something to fill me up and not too expensive. This café decor is unique in a way that they put up a lot of Elvis and other American related items. Food comes quick and they have a lot of locals that come here. I got the All Day Breakfast and it was good and worth the money. The main chef (and probably the owner) was friendly and this place felt very British.

Had cheese burger n chips can of Fanta £4.oo. very tasty. Didn't have to wait long. Ol skool type cafe with Elvis theme. Would recommend and visit again.

It's one of the oldest family run cafes on coldharbour lane. Been in the family for the last 30 odd years. The variety of food is amazing and the service plus the homely atmosphere is great. Highly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant. Food was a little slow to come out to my table, but when it did it was well worth the wait. Food was fresh and hot. Very cheap and also filling. Will be back again

Incredible meal. A crazy man came in and told the owner he was going to kill him. The owner replied "what was that? one bacon sandwich or two?"

How I wish this fabulous place was just round the corner from home. The atmosphere, the food...Ask for your bacon crispy and you GOT your bacon crispy, ask for your eggs with cooked whites and runny yolk and that is what you got and it was all delicious! Now I am housebound and can't get there, I can only dream of it. Don't miss your chance to get there if you can.

An authentic and honest place to eat a traditional breakfast. Very affordable and still good quality. I enjoyed it very much when exploring the city as a tourist.

3 and a half stars. This cafe certainly has its own character both in terms of decor and regular customers. Can't knock the quantity of food, it was a 2 plate job for my breakfast. Breakfast seemed cooked well albeit a tad too greasy. Came out full but a little queezy (hence not 4 stars), not sure if it a grease thing or quality issue. Didn't enjoy the chips, they were a mistake (Didn't stop me from eating them all though). Certainly worth a visit if you appreciate quantity and character in a themed cafe. Can see why it's a bit of a local institution.

I’ve been to many greasy spoons all over London and this is a true gem. It’s one of the last places where people with different backgrounds meet and eat. On more than one occasion I’ve seen the owner giving a free coffee or meal to people who clearly couldn’t afford a warm meal. The quality of the food is great. No disgusting tomato’s from a tin. Fresh wedges from the gril. Biggest recommendation is a breakfast special with black pudding. And everything is very very affordable. The trendy people can have a nice full English one street down coz avocado’s are not in Eddie’s repertoire. May this place survive forever.

Go regularly for a weekend fry up. Great service, outrageous value for money, tasty food. A gem in modern day London.

Cup of tea and a slice of toast for £1.20... You can't beat it. This place feels like a time capsule, in an amazing way. I love everything about this cafe and it's my favourite local spot to just have a cuppa and relax. Sal and his family are lovely and kind, and they run it so well. The decor is AMAZING and I really hope they never redecorate or rip it out — the interior is what makes it so unique and cosy. Sal's collections of eccentric clocks is fantastic, and I love that he plays the radio (and cassette tapes of old radio stations) — middle finger to Spotify! Long live Rock Steady Eddie's.

One of the best cafes in London. Food and service is reliable, good quality, and cheaper than average for a greasy spoon. But the best thing about Eddie's is the memorable and authentic vibe and decor of the place, and the role it serves in the local community. There's a welcoming and easygoing vibe that you don't get in many places these days, especially the more upmarket venues that have slowly been gentrifying this part of South London. Long may it live.

Great little cafe in Camberwell. Visited with a friend to find a good space, great chef and plenty to look at on the wall s. Bought two very different breakfasts at reasonable cost and found it to be a good greasy spoon in a handy location.

Old school cafe staff helpful but the place dressed like a 1950 USA Dive in needs cleaning. Customers will talk to you or let you alone.

This is the cafe l visit, after a visit to kings college hospital. A real basic cafe, l love to be corned beef with egg and chips. Not the best but ok if you want to refill

Classic greasy spoon cafe. No nonsense. Cheap enough that you walk out wondering how food can be produced that cheaply. Decor is classic if a little shabby. Service with smile and very clean despite shabby decor. A London classic I find it impossible to walk past without buying some sort of heavily salted pork based snack. Yum yum

Full English with tea and toast for £5.40. What's not to like? And I can confirm the reports of the lesser-spotted fried slice to be true. It was right there, in the thick of it, hiding under the egg all along. A rare treat around here these days. Cheers Eddie.

Looks ok from the out side but dull and dirty inside. Food was awful had a Spanish omelette made with egg ( obviously) and lumps of potato no other ingredients in at all

Beautiful venue, great 80s decorations all around. If you're into 80s movie and music posters, this is the place. Lovely, wonderful family that owns the cafe. Delicious food. Great value for money. Great place. Highly recommend.

This is a weird little bit of London and probably the last bastion of traditional greasy spoons in South. Great people watching but don't expect a high end meal.

Stay away from this unheiginic cafe. As someone else as stated this place needs seriously renovating. Breakfast was overcooked uses tinned mushrooms and they were rubbery. Has some odd people who sit in their talking about their job seekers allowance. Avoid

I've been going to buy food from this cafe since back in the 1986 they own a kebab shop just down the road now they have got the best cafe in Camberwell 5 star food
