Rock & sole in South Bucks

Left over chips, refried with double the salt intake. Fish was super oily. The curry sauce portion is so small - half the size you would get from any other chippy. Rock hard naan on the kebab that couldn’t be eaten. The kebab meat to be fair was nice. So disappointing as you want to support the local businesses but with quality like this, I would rather travel an extra mile to get a good fish and chip!

Popped in here one lunchtime. Lovely owner and place immaculately clean. Ordered cod and chips and it was freshly cooked. Really tasty and crispy batter. Massive portion of chips as well.

Picked up some chips on Monday just as they opened expecting fresh cooked. What we got were clearly re-fried leftovers from the morning - most went in the bin

What a pleasant time in rock and sole today got 100% welcomed and also got lots of great customer service. Nav and manjali are the best make sure u all go and try the masala chips they were a hit in our household.we will def be going again to try something new and also the owners mentioned to me that they will be on uber eats soon 😎😎😎😎😎😎😉😉😉😉😉

Well this place was such a great find. Food cooked to order so lovely and fresh. Cod was of best quality and would highly recommend this business.

I read the positive reviews so was expecting some excellent fish and chips. I didn’t get this at all, in fact it was a huge disappointment. The cod was battered from frozen (as I saw the cook remove it from the freezer draw where a dozen were stored). This was a huge let down. They should thaw the cod so the batter sticks and importantly the fish remains flaky. It wasn’t. When I got home, I hoped for the best but sure enough, the batter came off and cod was solid and not flaky at all. I live in Richings Park so was disappointed as this could have been a good local, but for me, it’s back to Nicks in Langley. Photos of both posted so you can see for yourself.

Average food at an inflated price. Not much choice for vegetarians. Fish was disappointing. There are better fish and chip shops that we have tried locally to this one.

This place deserves 5 Strats for sure! Normally fish and chips is a big hit and miss as it depends if they are reheating the food. This place cooks everything while you wait. It is delicious and the best I have had in years. Lovely friendly staff in there too. Had it a few times for lunch and asked them to double wrap them so I could drive 40 minutes home, was still hot when I got home and the family loved it too!! Would 100% recommend.

Went there with my girlfriend and two kids. We received a heartfelt welcome. And the food was fantastic! Would recommend.

I've been about 4 or 5 times now and been delighted on every occasion. Fab chips! Fab fish too! I can't fault this shop. It's spotlessly clean, the service and prices are great as is the range. If I had one complain it's that I live to near and I'm too tempted! I hope they build a good and regular trade, they deserve to succeed.

Best fish and chips around quality fish with the best batter I’ve tasted in along time. Staff are so friendly and polite a pleasure to visit will be back soon

The most beautiful burger, not the typical from a chippy. The chips were gorgeous and the kids were pleased with their sausages. Customer service 100%. Wish they delivered!

We have waited for this chip shop in the village for such a long time! My prayers have been answered! Its absolutely amazing the food is cooked to perfection everytime, the staff are so friendly and accomodating! I wouldnt go anywhere else now. We visit twice a week if not more! I can not recommend them enough.

Visited here after passing on my way home from work, picked up dinner for the family, we had a bit of everything and we couldn’t fault it! Only issue we would say is it’s not close enough to us! Open a branch in Spelthorne please!
