Visited St Neots today and stumbled upon Roberto’s Deli tuck away down a small walk way to the church. What an absolute gem of a place. Lovely selection in the deli counter of some of the finest Italian ingredients. We needed lunch so looking at the menu decided on Roberto’s Special pizza No 1 and to say it was the best pizza I’ve ever tasted would be understated. It was amazing. One pizza really serves 2 adults very easily. All the ingredients on the top are brought in from Sicily. Each item full of flavours I’ve not found on any pizza I’ve ever had before. Thank you Roberto and Yen for a wonderful meal and service,

I smelt this delicatessen before I walked through the door and was transported backed to my trip to Italy. Everything in the store looked so inviting and I ended up buying from the deli the olives artichokes and some of the pastries. I’m excited to take them home and try them the owner of the storehad the most wonderful Italian accent and really made us feel very welcome in his store. I would really recommend this experience and I look forward to sharing the food that I bought with my friends and family.

This is an authentic Italian deli. Roberto and his wife are so friendly and we really enjoyed having a chat with them. The sandwiches were very delicious, freshly made with fresh ingredients. Wanted to get gelato but was too stuffed, the sandwich was quite filling. It’s a small deli with a few table indoors and outdoors. A good selection of deli meats and cheeses. Wines, pasta, and other Italian delicacies you can buy. We will definitely be coming back here and will get the pizza on our next visit. I highly recommend it.

Came for lunch and a couple of drinks that extended quite a long afternoon! The freshly made pizza were amazingly good, But huge! we ended up having to take some away, ( but still fit in some incredible homemade Italian dessert! The beer and wine was also delicious and was well worth the cost as opposed to going to a weatherspoons that would cost the same with drinks and sub standard ingredients unlike Robertos which honestly you can tell the freshness and quality! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5+ star Roberto and his wife were extremely welcoming also we were we not rushed or disturbed yet they chatted equally between courses and other customers, it’s a small intimate place that definitely deserves a huge shout out will be visiting again soon!!! Thanks for a great meal Roberto

Great pizza and lovely tiramisu. Amazing ice cream and selection of produce. Real Italian food. Not at all cheap, but it is high quality and you get what you pay for. Well worth a visit.

I love this place, the food is almost always amazing (occasionally the squid is chewy). The service is professional and polite, just not always friendly. The thing with this place is that you can't go too often as the menu is always the same, there is nothing new to try! The puddings are not ever what they where when they were at their old locations. They are expensive and not always that nice. We paid full price for a 1/2 scoop of grainy ice-cream with a pudding - we didn't bother commenting as when we'd sent the squid back as chewy we got a response which seemed to suggest as it was fresh and everyone else liked it, it is must have been us. Such as shame!

After reading the incredible reviews on here about this restaurant we were very excited but were left extremely disappointed. We ordered dough balls and olives to start. The dough balls arrived more like miniature buns, with a side a garlic butter which appeared to be dropped from a great height. The appearance left a lot to be desired considering the price. The olives were straight from a jar; not fresh at all and were swimming in brine. Again appearance was a lot to be desired with cocktail sticks dumped in the bowl alongside. For mains we had two pizzas, a gnocchi and Arabiatta. The dough for the pizza was quite salty but it had a good taste. The one with caramelised onion was far too overpowering and one of our group was immediately sick from it. He decided not to mention this as it just didn’t agree with him; we shared out his meal instead. The gnocchi was too tough and not the fluffy pillows you’d be expecting from an authentic Italian restaurant and the Arabiatta was comparable to freeze dried penne pasta a tin of tomatoes run through it (and not even a good jar). It was very disappointing indeed. The inside of the restaurant was very outdated; they still had plastic screens as a throwback to Covid and when moved (as they were too close to be able to comfortably get to the toilet) showed extreme dirt on the floor. The toilets were of a similar nature too. Really disgraceful for the price you were spending on a meal. We didn’t complain at the time due to being with friends who recommended the restaurant. I hope you are able to make some changes and at the very least remove the ridiculous screens and give the floor a good scrub.

Forno Rosso used to be our go to pizza takeaway but after the last two orders, we will not be returning unfortunately. Since it has been taken over by new management, we have noticed a complete change in quality. The pizzas are more dough than toppings and the price has stayed the same, or increased, even though the size has been reduced. It's such a shame, as we loved the food from here before.
