We had never experienced a Roamer coffee before but we will definitely be back as the coffee is amazing and the tray bakes are really delicious. We are coming back for no other reason but to try all the tray bakes. Well done Donna.

Roamer Coffee Co is located in the picturesque town of Montrose, Angus. It is situated approx. a 5 minute walk from the main shopping area and when you find it, you will not be disappointed. I am an avid coffee drinker and Donna’s coffee hits the spot! It is a great place to meet friends and offers tasty, good quality food, with an assortment of yummy homemade pastries and cakes. Donna is a wonderful barista; cheerful, friendly and attentive and I would highly recommend visiting Roamer Coffee Co. Keep up the good work Donna and Alistair and can’t wait to visit soon!

The best and only artisan coffee company in Montrose. The company source their beans from all over Scotland to produce simply fantastic coffee. Friendly professional staff and gorgeous location make this my ‘go to’ coffee stop. Roamer is set in an idyllic location on a retired but gorgeous bowling green, the old Pavillion is a beautiful flower shop. There is no indoor seating but there are benches and verandahs with rugs and sheepskins for al fresco coffee. No visit to Montrose would not be complete without a visit to the Roamer Coffee Company. Also homemade soups, waffles and bakes

The Muckle Roamer! Serving great coffee and cakes, from an amazing converted horse box parked at The Flower Pavilion in Montrose. Also delicious soup. Outdoors, and good self distancing and mask wearing is observed. Great banter too, highly recommended.

I cannot rate Roamer highly enough. Off the scale coffee and locally baked treats, with a capital T. Having recently relocated to Montrose as a remote worker, this is the perfect spot for some quality downtime in a beautiful setting. Just perfect in these crazy times. Donna and Alistair have put a lot of care, personality and attention into the business, and this shines through. Treat yourself and pay them a visit, you’ll not be disappointed. Just leave some cakes for me..

Food and service was excellent as usual. Definitely the best authentic Italian food by miles. Veal was cooked to perfection and service was very friendly. All this at reasonable prices. What more could you want. Definitely would recommend this establishment.

Excellent food and service. Very friendly staff. Food is freshly cooked, we enjoyed some popadoms while we waited. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for an authentic Indian. Chicken tikka masala, chicken korma and the Egyptian kebab were all very tasty. Garlic and cheese naan was exceptional!

Good fresh food, although the menu isn't very varied if your looking for lunch It's in a lovely setting and there's a small play park for children. Dogs are allowed and well catered for. There's plenty parking but this is where I felt badly let down. There is no allocated disabled parking! There was a challenging walk on my crutches from the carpark to the cafe as the surface isn't very wheelchair friendly. With the space available in sure there is an easy remedy and I'm sure we'll come back for more of the good food and see if they resolve the parking for the disabled.
