Rivoli Pizzeria in Leeds

Why would a pizza be unsliced? Have been using Rivolis since the 80's and only went somewhere else when the chef in the 90's moved and opened Cappana on Queensway. We reverted back after it closed and in all that time we have had to ask for the Pizza slicing, unfortunately it comes unsliced more than sliced. A minor niggle for what we think is consistently good food.

Absolutely terrible,do not order from here!I ordered dinner for me and my family,eta was scheduled for upto 55 minutes later,1 hour and 15 minutes passed so we called to chase an eta,we were then told that our food was next out,no apology for the delay,we waited another 20 minutes and called still no apology and was told we were next out.There was no explaination and no apology throughout the contact just lies,we had to cancel our order as we have a very hungry child.So disapponted!Will never order from here again.

Excellent burgers & plenty of crispy fries, it was busy tonight & had an hour wait advised. Spot on, arrived on time & they were piping hot. Excellent service

pizza is fantastic. one of the best ive tried in leeds area, service was great you can see chefs making it from fresh, didnt try the burgers but pizza was top. defo worth a visit

Calzone were amazing All the kids pizzas got the big thumbs up Defo a step up in terms of a take away offering restaurant quality pizza. We'll order again from the family at Entre Rios

Always order from Rivolis but placed an order tonight through the app. Had an email saying that the order had been placed so put my phone down and didn’t think anything else of it. Looked back a while later and had another email saying that they were unable to take my order. Called them and they basically said that because they were busy they weren’t delivering that far! Really bad service and left us without any food given the time it would take to order elsewhere. You would think a small business like that would be grateful for the business considering COVID and all the extra costs of running a business. Won’t be ordering from them again!

My family has been eating from here since the 90s for definite (they used to have old coin op arcade machines which were awesome), and generally always enjoyed the taste of the food. I really want to leave a 5 star because of the nostalgia factor alone. But, after 3 decades of frequenting here, not once have I met a person in charge or noted an owner. Front of house staff is always young adults/teens which, (with no disrespect to them) are hardly invested in the business. This said though, for these 3 decades the food has remarkably remained pretty much the same, which is generally pretty nice (part of the reason I keep going I suppose). I am baffled by the pizza slicing controversy though. I mean, why they don't just slice the pizza unless specifically asked NOT to I will never understand (I mean, who doesn't want their takeaway pizza sliced for goodness sakes?). I can only assume this is their unique selling point perhaps, but since no one ever sees a person in charge it's difficult to find out the the real reasoning behind this, or why it's so hard to get the damn pizza sliced even you want it sliced! Even when specially asking TWICE within the same order to slice the pizza and it still arrives unsliced I'm still turning a bit of a blind eye to it as they make decent pizza and are a local business... But come on... Just slice the pizza and say hello once in a while.

Brilliant place to order a takeaway either pizza or burger. Food is always cooked whilst you wait so totally fresh. Good choice of menu.

Very disappointing, waited 1 hour for delivery & when it arrived was cold, didn’t enjoy the pizza at all.

Came in with the misses to order some sran after a few stellas up at Spoonys as i fancied a tuna bolly, after ordering and dealing with the cashier i saw lurking in the kitchen by the looks to be a mid 30 year old man gorping at me misses, i felt uncomfortable and was debating throwing a 1-2 Mayweather but i let the dirty guy off when i felt calm that me and the misses were about to scran a Tuna Bolly. excellent food and service, but this part is directed at the piece of filth in the back- if you ever look at me misses again there WILL be trouble once ive had a one too many stellas.

We generally order a vegetarian (no pineapple) pizza with a garlic bread for collection as we nip for a quick pint whilst it's being made. Always enjoy them and good value for money. My only gripe is that they won't swap the pineapple for anything else, only if we pay extra and 9 times out of 10, the pizza and garlic bread aren't sliced despite being stated at time of ordering

Excellent burgers served here for eat in or take out. Large portion sizes. Good choice of pizza served or telephone for delivery.

Have ordered from here 3 times and every time the order is wrong or forgotten something Food is nothing to rave about either or less you like grease Customer service is something they need training on and along with the chefs who need cooking lessons all in all not worth the visit

Terrible service, twice I have tried to order on the internet from them and twice the order has gone through only to be followed up with an email asking to call them to be told they are closing and won’t be completing the order. The guy on the phone was very rude. On both occasions the order was placed 1/2 hour before the published closing times. They need to fix their internet ordering, won’t be using again sticking with just eat from now on.

The staff are dreadful and have really bad manners. A guy who answers the phone is absolutely rubbish. He puts you on hold and then doesn’t ever come back to the phone. Not sure why he has that job! Chef shouts at you down the phone! Absolutely disgusting. Used to love this place but now avoid like the plague! EAT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK! Absolutely crap! Rivoli are a well established takeaway in Yeadon. Must be 25 years+. I recall eating pizzas from there when I was a kid. (I am 40+ now). They are very welcoming- either if you call up or call in. Muzi (the boss man) will always help you out on what u would like to order if you're unsure. Chilli is to die for! (I still haven't found out their unique recipe)..one more good thing - you can actually SEE the kitchen from the takeaway area. 5*'s to my local pizza place.

Rivoli Pizzeria is a well established local business in Yeadon. There is a good choice of menu however there is a variety of burgers.The burgers are well cooked and very tasty.

S**t. Cashiers are very welcoming. One of the chefs is not. The food is good apart from the chips and cheesy chips, pouring out with grease. The bold chef and polish were nice but the one with the black hair wasn't at all. Very rude and pretty sure he spat in my food.

Rivoli es fantástica pizza para llevar. . Con la taza profunda especial. Rivoli Calzone dobladas y donna carne y patatas fritas combinadas. Con un pan de ajo gratis para pedidos de más de £20. 00. Es apto para cualquier matrimonio o familia. Para las mujeres y los niños. O los que siguen con hambre. Un muy buen tamaño trozo de tarta fudge.

Love rivs always order at least once a week! Shame they struggle to get one aspect of my order correct even though I pay for it and ring to advise its wrong every time!

Orden de Dominos en normalmente, pero no pude conseguir Guiseley a través de ellos, así que pensamos que lo Rivoli. No volveremos a cometer ese error! Pedimos una pizza en línea en 6. 50:00 h. Local pizzeria, used hundreds of times over many years. All pizzas are made while you wait or they can do fast delivery. They always arrive hot and taste excellent. Better value and taste than pizzahut or dominos. We'll continue to buy from here till it shuts down - which I hope it never does. Keep up the excellent work guys

Our favourite pizza takeaway in the Leeds/Bradford area! Not greasy at all like you would expect from pizza takeaway! If we could order this every night we would. Would recommend !

If you're lucky you might get what you ordered. The online menu is very poor and gives no confidence to the customer that the employees know what they're doing (riddled with typos, sloppy menu system, no confirmation emails or ETA when you've ordered). I rang up after 45 minutes to check they'd received my order.. they had, but they hadn't actioned it... so, another 30 minutes it arrives (not sliced, as clearly requested).I love the food though, shame they let themselves down with basic communication procedures and (no offence) teenagers running the ordering system.

As usual I ordered a Chilli pizzeria thin base from Rivoli tonight and they said about 40 mins, after ringing to check after 70 mins I was told told should not be long by a very polite girl' and they are generally always polite. Lateness is not a massive issue as when the pizza arrives it is normally really nice. I live 2.2 miles from them so not too far away, the pizza is normally red hot from their carry bags anyway. So tonight my pizza came and I gave the driver a tip as I always do and came inside, I opened the box and was met with a hard and crusty over cooked pizza, I rand to complain about this and the girl offered me another, I had to go out shortly so asked if this could be deferred until next time, she asked her manager who said the next one would be half price, unhappy with this I asked to speak to the manager who came on and told me I always complain and live too far away and that they no longer wanted me as a customer, I think I have rang up 3 times over the years when it justified it, tonight I was appalled at the way I was handled and had to put words down to express this.

After reading the reviews i thought i would play it safe and use their online ordering system. It's very good and as i worked my way down the list i saw some bread dish i had never heard of. I added it to my basket and paid. 5 mins later the phone rang and they asked me what the bread dish was and was surprised when i didn't know. As they didn't know either they agreed to suprise me! The meal was delivered and was very nice however they don't slice the pizza for you. No i am not saying what the bread dish is order it for yourself.

EVERYTIME without fail this place gets my order wrong. Even when I place an order in person you have to make sure they fully understand a simple order.That's what you get when you employ young staff with zero interest in their jobs.The latest problem being a Calzone pizza looking nothing like a Calzone (they are folded right?). Chef needs to learn some customer service skills.I will never return here again. Shame as the food when correct is decent.

Pizzas are very tasty with a good selection. Staff are always very friendly and the pizza is reasonably priced.

This place is right in the centre of Yeadon and does not look like much from the outside, but WOW does it make a great pizza!!The prices are "average" (around £7-8 per pizza) but the value, toppings and overall quality is second to none!! The pizzas are loaded with toppings and cheese, there are no short cuts with the meat, it is piled on!!Go on - treat yourself and get 2, I always do :)

Impressive pizza. Made by people who know what Italian food is. They could have a think about offering anchovies as a topping though.

So I am visiting my parents in Yeadon some 18 years after moving to Bristol and we fancied a takeaway for tea so thought Rivoli for a calzone see if they are still as I remembered, I can categorically say still the best Italian takeaway in the universe, everything exceeded our expectation, the kids said the pizzas we're delicious and well there was nothing left of mine despite it being mahooosive. Rivoli my hat off to you all you have made nectarines your quality for over 18 years

Every week our family have a Pitza night and this is the place we choose to have ours delivered from.I can honestly say we have only had one bad Pitza from this take away! Not bad for such a little shop.When there busy it sometimes takes a while for delivery, but trust me it's worth waiting for.....

If you like Pizza this is the place to go in the Yeadon/Guiseley area. No body else comes near. Staff are always pleasant and polite.

Best pizza ive ever had.To say this a small takeaway the pizza is unbelievable. The value for money is brilliant. They could easily charge £15-20 for a pizza but at £7 odd its well worth it.Staff are friendly too.

Nothing to to dislike about this place. Been using it for years and will continue to do so. Always excellent service and if you would like a meal with a little bit of something different, they will usually oblige.

I have used Rivoli for 15 years and ordered a meal this evening. Promised delivery in 40 mins. Rang after an hour to say my food would be ten mins and again 20 mins later to say it was on its way. I then had a phone call 1hour and 40 mins to say my order had been lost and offered a free drink. I thought this was an insult. Twice this has happened recently. Good good but lost me as a customer tonight.

We have been using Rivoli every week for about 20 years. We believe they are the best you can get. Would never go anywhere else.

Always serves good quality burgers and pizzas with pleasant staff and service. If in Yeadon or passing try Rivoli Pizzeria for either the burger or pizza. The Burgers and Pizza have varied choice. Also does delivery .Large portion very tasty.

Best burgers I have ever tasted. Always busy but can order inside or delivered by car. Reasonable price. Good choice on the menu includes pizza.
