The greasiest fish and chips I've ever had how this is rated a 4.9 is beyond me. Old wedges, old greasy chips!! Made me feel ill!! Obviously won't be back!!!!

I live about 10 miles away from this chip shop but I drive there and go past at least 10 other chip shops but always here because the staff are very friendly and polite and the food is lovely always fresh and hot and as far as I concerned the best cod and chips I've had

Went with my 2 kids to this place and their fish is amazing. Clean and fresh.

Went in for a quarter pounder with cheese for lunch whilst at work and was 100% satisfied. Fresh ingredients, kind and attentive service, generous portions... I am very happy and would readily recommend

Very well cooked food. We usually have cod and chips here, which is always delicious and the fish is huge! Tried a spam fritter for the first time and it was very tasty too. Recommended by me and my partner and well worth 5 stars.

Extremely friendly staff, high quality food. Everything is made in front of you and not in a back kitchen so you know its fresh and good. Got given a small portion of chips while we waited and some gurkhins aswell.

Onze eerste stop in Engeland tijdens onze vakantie. Heel erg vriendelijk personeel!! De fish en chips waren heerlijk en de porties zijn gigantisch! Zeker een aanrader :).

Lovely food and staff. The guys are always smiley and friendly. Not sure if it is a new thing but they charge for burger sauce on chips, bit disappointed with that. I haven’t been charged at any other fish and chips restaurant for this.

The food offered here is very well cooked and they serve it hot. The staff is very friendly and polite. They have a wide varieties of fish and they even offer burgers and chicken on a very reasonable price. The portion of food that is served is well worth the money.

Much better under new ownership. Always a queue, which says volumes. Some things are ready to go, but a lot is fresh cooked to order. Well worth the wait. Portions are good. I seldom eat fish, but their burgers are great. Portion of onion rings is about ten pieces. Always given a few chips, even though I haven't ordered a portion (very nice, always fresh fried). Love the video of, I think, the Greek islands that's running to keep you entertained while you wait. One thing to be aware of, closed on Sundays. Thoroughly recommended.

Yeah been in there twice now and both times ordered cod and chips and the bloke said do you want anything else I said no thankyou then he said go on have some chicken have some curry sauce have this have that I said no just cod and chips and then he said here here's some chips to eat while you wait gave me 3 chips in a bit of paper and then said so you going to have some chicken and curry sauce or a roll and I said no thanks then another bloke come out and said is that all you want do you want some chicken some curry sauce I said no just cod and chips and they kept on I couldn't wait to get out of there cod and chips was OK but asked for large cod and chips and got smal I think they done that because I didn't buy more so it put me off going back there
