Very nice little restaurant, friendly staff and very tasty dishes (spaghetti Bolognese, chicken breast in creme sauce and seabass) even though seabass portion was a bit small. Prices are about the same as other places in the city centre.

It’s easy to miss but once you go in it’s quite a nice little restaurant, It was completely empty when we arrived and when we left (probably to thank for the fact that we came in winter during a week day so not many people out for dinner) We had Pizza and Pasta and both were delicious! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice overall, except for the lack of other people around. Overall recommend.

Attention to basic detail here was abysmal. The food made our tummies upset, alcohol was mistakenly given to someone who cannot have it (due to medication) because they mixed up the drinks, and it was not a great example of Fort William.

Would give 0 stars if i could, walked in and had to look for someone as it was empty and dark. Finally a guy comes in the doorway to the kitchen, we look at him and say “hello, are you guys open” he stares at us for a moment before giving us a measly shrug and backs away into the kitchen and out of sight. I’m not sure what happened but we went and had pizza elsewhere

The place was empty when we arrived, couple more tables came in after us. The menus are very confusing and you are handed extra bits of paper with special offers on them. The food itself was okay, we’d been driving for hours so we’re happy to eat whatever was out in front of us at that point. There was more cheese on the pizza than anything else, it was so thick! The portion sizes were good, the food came fairly quickly. Service was cold and unfriendly. The ladies toilets have a sliding door with a hook to keep it closed. Even then there is still a small gap that you can see out of and there are tables close by the door which made me uncomfortable. The music is loud and distracting as well. It did the job of filling us up but I wouldn’t be rushing back.

Pizza “Godfather” was tasty and big.

Food was pretty good, and service was great. Until the cheque came. The waiter stood less than a foot from me, staring down at the debit terminal as I tried to punch in my pin. It became pretty obvious he was reading the terminal as I selected options, when he decided to tell me that I was entering the wrong keystrokes and must cancel my whole transaction, as I was not allowed to choose the option to pay in my home currency. This has worked in every shop on my trip for nearly three weeks. It gives me the option to pay in GBP or in CAD. I will not be returning to a place that tries to read my personal info as I enter my bank details.

Very good service, we arrived at 9pm (restaurant closes at 9:30) and they still served us and didn't rush us to finish at all. The pizzas were filling and very tasty! Decent price. Recommended!

You can order pizza in the hotel's bar. The food is delicious. The atmosphere with the book shleves, and very few customers, perfect. I recommend the place to all who would life to eat something delicious not in crowded place.

It was written that they open at 12 am, but the staff told us at 12 am that they will open in about 20 minutes. I do not think that this is ideal place for lunch

There are some amazing restaurants in Fort William. This isn't one of them Mediocre, overpriced food, and inattentive service. You can do much better just 1 or 2 blocks away. I ordered the the "King Prawns" with rice, (~GBP 24.95) and was quite disappointed to find about 7 or 8 small shrimp that certainly didn't measure up to their "king prawn" title. The sauce was decent though. My wife ordered the poached salmon and prawns in lemon sauce. (~GBP 22.00) The shrimp were merely dime-sized cocktail shrimp and were so overcooked they were rubbery. The salmon was raw in the middle yet overcooked on the end (not quite sure how they pulled that off.) The lemon sauce was overly aggressive. We never had the opportunity to complain because we didn't see our server again until we tracked him down to ask for the bill. Photo 1: Raw Salmon; Photo 2: Skimpy "king prawns" 1.5 out of ten, would not go again. Especially given the abundance of similarly-priced amazing restaurante nearby. (Try Solans or Crannog, they're much much nicer)

Thirty minutes before the official closing time of the kitchen we were turned away and did not get any food. Official time is 9.30pm and we arrived at 9pm. Doesn't make much sense to me as they're officially open til midnight.

Service and the staff were good and the restaurant itself too. But the Pizza was with lots of cheese and was not very tasty

Great meal and a hugely diverse menu - Indian curries, Italian, fish and chips, and kids menu. We went for two curries, one fish and chips and a kid's nuggets dish. All were performed well and highly recommended for families and groups.

Amazing food Pasta Pizza Vegetarian Indian

Not as busy as the main high street food places, but the food was nice. We didn't quite get the bread basket ingredients that was listed from the menu, but we had other starters to enjoy so we kept silent. I believe this is the restaurant attached to the hotel next door.

En el restaurante pedimos platos de pasta y estaban buenísimos, bien presentados. Cantidad suficiente. Precio muy aceptable por ser escocia. Lo único malo es que tuvimos que esperar unos 40 minutos a que nos trajeran los platos.

Cena de subsistencia. Pedimos un menú y una pizza. El menú escaso, ya que prácticamente todo era guarnición (con patatas congeladas). Y la pizza congelada también, aunque pasable. Precio razonable por lo caro que es comer en Escocia.

hidden gem, we popped in after viewing on the map… i had beef lasagne & my partner had the veggie lasagne they’re served with chips & it was really good tasty food. We added the extra garlic bread & cheese! Portions were generous & staff were really friendly… the prices were very reasonable, probably would have spent the same amount at spoons… will definitely be back, highly recommended

The only place that served anything after 20:30 on Wednesday! And i loved it, the pizza was excellent and what we needed.

Absolutely amazing food from here. The best I've ever had in fort William and I'm a local! Great service too. A hidden gem that is well worth a visit. You won't be disappointed. It does take some time for food to come out but everything is cooked fresh and piping hot when it comes out. The menu is quite large too. 5 star and more

Good food, excellent service and not expensive. Pizzas and pastas were fantastic with desserts to die for!

Starter and pizza was greasy and full of oil not freshly made pizzas small and expensive i would not recommend this I would avoid try another restaurant

Menue is almost too large that it can be specialised, fresh and handmade. A mixture of Italian, pub and Indian food. interior of the bar area where all the guests were seated that evening has no comfy atmosphere. Service was nice. Kitchen was very very slow. Don't forget to mention "al dente" if you don't want your pasta overcooked, the sauces (napoletana and even better arrabiata) were very tasty thought

In Fort William at the end of the high street as you enter the town, with a car park adjacent, free parking after 6pm. The restaurant had a wide choice of meals and a specials offer, 3 courses for 15.95, ir 2 for 13.95. Food prepared quickly and all was delicious. An elegant hotel with the rio pizzeria as thecrestaurant in side.

Nous avons voulu tester malgré certaines remarques négatives. A priori une pizza, pas beaucoup de risque... Et bien si, c'était des pizzas surgelées, sans aucun intérêt.

We had a very nice meal here. They serve pizza, but the menu is replete with pasta ,and Italian inspired meat, chicken and fish mains. It's not haute cuisine, but you'll have a good meal at a fair price.

Ik schrijf bijna nooit recenties maar hier wil ik toch een uitzondering voor maken. In tegenstelling wat een aantal anderen schreven vind ik dit een prima restaurant. Heerlijk gegeten met de kinderen en het was zeker niet duur. Het was verrassend hoe weinig het kostte voor de setting van een luxe Italiaans restaurant. Alleen jammer dat er zo weinig gasten waren, dat is minder gezellig. aanrader!
