This is an absolutely wonderful authentic Spanish tapas place we have just discovered in worthing. All staff are Spanish and their food really reflects that! They also have a lovely enclosed garden area with quaint lights and the staff showed us round. The staff really were lovely and accommodating and the atmosphere reminded me completely of Spain. I feel so lucky to have found you and being so close to me I will definitely return time and time again. Thank you so much for making our evening so wonderful you are amazing! 😊😊😊🥰🥰🥰

This really is a beautiful tapas place that we discovered in worthing just in the last few days. Absolutely gorgeous food and lovely authentic Spanish staff through and through. We had such a lovely evening. The staff also showed us round a garden area they have which is stunning and enclosed with lovely lights. I cannot believe we have been so lucky to find this place and I know as we love Spain, their food and they have such a great atmosphere in their restaurant we will definitely be returning! Been meaning to return for years big mistake should have come back sooner. Somehow it as improved with age. Lovely staff more seating and food very fresh and full of flavours at a good price.

Delicious food, great atmosphere and service. The mega friendly owners and staff ensure a warm welcome. I really like the idea of noting down your order at your leisure so you don't delay the waiter when trying to choose from a wide menu. I already thought it was likely we'd have the vegetarian paella however, as I'd recommended it beforehand, so making a prompt choice means you can relax and chat when you know in advance paella preparation time gives you a breathing space to enjoy the atmosphere. There's no feeling of pressure here however. No-one asking if you'd like another drink before you're ready! The choice of food is great for vegetarians and the paella was full of flavour, not to mention huge. The selection of veg beforehand was beautifully cooked too, so you don't feel you're missing anything by avoiding meat. Nothing like a free GF / girlfriend with your dessert either! Oops no, gluten free... Great that almonds can take on such a splendid role. If my partner weren't such a keen cook I'd go much more often. Muchas gracias y hasta la próxima.

I had dinner at this lovely Spanish restaurant recently, and I have to say, it was fantastic. The place has such a cozy and welcoming vibe, and you really feel like you’ve been transported to Spain. The menu has a great variety, and everything we tried was full of flavour and clearly made with care. The staff were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. It's definitely a spot worth visiting if you're in the mood for some authentic Spanish food and a relaxed evening.

Such a shame to see somewhere that I’ve enjoyed so much in the past go down as badly as this has. The food was awful , everything tasted of garlic as if they’d ran out of all other seasonings , the potatoes were so oily that they were inedible , saw the venue up for sale and wanted one last fond memory but instead received the polar opposite

Had been recommended a few times so came here for lunch before dropping friends daughter to the airport (to go back home to Spain) There were 6 of us and all very used to tapas. My friend and her daughter spoke in Spanish to the very welcoming owner and we ordered a selection of tapas, including everyone's favourites, calamari and patatas bravas. I have found, here and abroad, these two dishes set the tone. Probably the nicest, freshest calamari I have had in years, was superb. In fact we all agreed all of the dishes were amazing. Friends parents had Tinto de Verano and were pleased to find it was authentic, churro's were really very good too. I would definitely recommend and we all said we will definitely visit again.

Went to this Restaurant on a Friday evening and it was very busy which is usually a really good sign. The Tapes we ordered ( you write your own order) were served nice and hot and tasty really nice. Absolutely no complaints on the food front whatsoever. However what spoilt our evening somewhat was the price of the Wine Beer and Other drinks it was really overpriced. They do need to look at that pricing because the couple sat next to us also commented to us about the drink prices. Shame otherwise it was a nice little Restaurant.

We ate here Sat 3rd Aug and had such a lovely evening! We're vegan and, honestly, the staff could not have been more kind or helpful! Including double checking with the chef. There are a good number of vegan options available and they explained how many tapas to order (glad they did as we would have ordered far more than we could eat!). But oh the food!!! To start we had the bread with Balsamic vinegar and oil...plus olives, then 4 tapas dishes, all of which were delicious but the Patatas Bravas and especially the mushrooms have to get a special mention! We were full but decided to share some churros (they are vegan if sugar coated and without the chocolate dip)...and are so glad we did as they were simply divine!!!! (I have had major cravings since!) We were planning to head back tonight as we want to try their paella (and more mushrooms and churros) but time ran away from us so will have to be patient and go next week sometime. But would definiitely recommend Rincon de Pepe for the food, service and atmosphere...can't wait to go back!!!

Last minute request fully booked apart from us ,got fitted in and tested very friiand fast really tasty tapas and paella authentic and reasonably priced will go back again !

My brother insists that we dine at Rincon de Pepe whenever he visits Worthing, and for good reasons. Delicious food, and very friendly staff.

The host was extremely friendly. The way to order was wonderful, no struggling in bad spanish (although i am sure it would be welcome) Our meal was really tasty and extremely large portions. My calamari and prawn dish seemed never ending ☺️ We were happily very full. It was an extremely enjoyable night. Please don't judge because you can't park infront but there is parking on the side roads very nearby, definitely worth going in for a sit down meal. Again the host was lovely

Rincon De Pepe Tapas Bar Are you dreaming of a balmy night in Seville, warm evening, cool, crisp Rosé wine in your glass, perusing the menu of small plates as the aroma of garlic and chorizo entice your senses? Why not experience all of that here in your own town/county. We returned last night. The welcome was as warm as the gorgeous evening weather. Smiles from everyone. We chose the rear restaurant room as it has a rustic charm. We ordered drinks and looked through the menu. My two stepsons love tapas and they were hungry…of course! You get to tick against the menu, so it’s really low pressure. Just take your time to chose your favourites and when you’ve made your initial choices, hand to the staff. This is a lovely way to order, especially if you’re not a fan of the waiter waiting over you whilst you try to make that decision! Our boys love the octopus here. We chose chicken and mushrooms, spinach tortilla, fried fish, calamari, croquettes, stuffed pork (rather like a schnitzel), mixed meats and cheese, warm olive bread and oil/vinegar, meatballs, patas bravas and the steak in creamy peppercorn sauce. As usual, we ordered a little too much, but did manage to clear most of the rather full table! The boys managed churros, and I enjoyed a crème Catalan! Every dish was superb. Authentic, fresh, delicious and generous. My favourites from last night were the spinach tortilla, the pork and the croquettes…however, I loved trying every small plate. It’s such a lovely way to eat. It’s great seeing the youngsters exploring and trying new things too. We had another great night here. Such a lovely place for families, couples and larger groups. If you’re not able to holiday this year, why not have a holiday experience here. Authentic Spanish cooking on your doorstep. We loved our holiday to Seville last year, so we enjoy reliving those memories when we visit this delightful gem of a restaurant. I cannot recommend this place enough. It really is a wonderful offering in our brilliant restaurant collection here in Worthing.

Sangria drinks were excellent and refreshing. An authentic Spanish restaurant with amazing food and owners. All tapas were nice and generous. Owners couple were friendly, polite and professional. The Octopus in Chilli and garlic is a must try, juicy and tender octopus, the best Octopus dish I had in UK. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Here you can get paella for 1, slightly over seasoned and salty on the meat paella, probably due to the chorizo. Less salty will be more perfect.

This restaurant is hands down the BEST restaurant in the world! I have never had food this glorious. You can tell the chef cooks with love, passion and perfection. I am well travelled and have been all over the Mediterranean and have NEVER had tapas this amazing. The flavours of the food ignite your soul! Even the house wine is amazing! The owner of the place is also so lovely. His customer service is second to none, and always makes us feel welcome. I recommend this restaurant to everyone who is looking for a lovely evening tasting the best food in West Sussex.

Wow, the food is so amazing, thank you so much, the service we were made to feel very welcome, took us right back to our holiday 2 months ago so we went home having severe withdrawal symptoms missing our favourite island fuerteventura and Spanish cuisine, knowing we have another 3 months before we return to canaries. We will definitely putting this restaurant to our top 5 list of best. Highly recommend, we had mixed paella as our main, next month we will do the tapas

We live locally but hadn’t visited this place for a while. Previous visits had been positive. The service and atmosphere were both good and the place was pretty busy as it was a Friday evening. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. We ordered an assortment of tapas plates. The ‘Spanish Iberic meats’ plate was standard Spanish meats similar to that you can buy at any supermarket, it didn’t include any Iberico ham as perhaps implied. The batter on the calamares and pescado frito was soft and the calamares did not taste fresh. We also ordered meatballs, which did taste homemade and were good, however the sauce accompanying them tasted as if it was from a jar. Finally, the grilled assorted vegetable plate was so over cooked, all the vegetables were mushy so we left it. We won’t be going back.

Oh…what an extraordinarily beautiful evening at Rincón de Pepe Tapas Bar tonight. The welcome was warm. The menu was/is enticing. Gorgeous wines. Amazing ambiance. Buzzing atmosphere. Like being on holiday. We had incredible dish after incredible dish. I was there with my step boys. They fell in love with tapas last summer when we holidayed in Seville. They love to try the pulpo….they love patatas bravas…and the peppercorn steak…the fried fish, calamari, the chicken stuffed with ham and cheese, the warm bread with ham, cheese and tomato and olive oil. The churros were awesome, the tiramisu was heavenly…beautiful coffee (perfect roast) and delicious negroni! Every dish was delicious, fresh and plentiful. This is a VERY SPECIAL RESTAURANT! Worthing should be so pleased that it’s there…it’s there for those evenings when you just want to graze…chat….enjoy some good wine…take yourselves off to warmer climates…holiday for an evening…feel the love… the food is cooked with love and served with love. Go! Experience it. It’s a gem…. It really is!!!

All the food they do is cooked at a very high standard, but they cook the best meat paella, and if you like a variety of tapas , el rincon de pepe is the place to go, Top ratings and top quality

Everything about this restaurant is amazing & beautiful!!!

We visited early Saturday evening. We had booked a table online and as we had not been before we did not know what to expect. When we arrived the restaurant looked quite small. However, we were greeted and led through to a back room (with a wood burner) that had a further 20 or 30 seats. We shared a lovely paella and will be returning when the opportunity arises. A hidden gem.

Lovely family meal. 8 of us. Service quick and friendly. Food delicious. Waiter even took the phot for us.

Visited here for a family birthday! A few people in the group hadn't had tapas before but the menus were really helpful demonstrating the idea. The servers were really helpful, nice and friendly. The food was really good, no complaints there. Would recommend and come back to again!

Nice tapas, quite expensive but good. Shame their menu has the vegan and vegetarian symbols mixed up…this could have been a bad experience with our daughters allergens…luckily we checked!

Absolutely incredible place. The food is the best tapas I’ve had in the UK. I would highly recommend the honey and walnut aubergine and the calamari is so silky. The staff are also super friendly.

I reviewed this restaurant many years ago and I come back to ensure that poor review is superceded by this one. I have been 3 times in the last year and on each occasion the food has been delicious and the service friendly. My last visit was on a Tuesday evening and was for a birthday for a group of 13 of us. We were seated out the back and it felt like a private dining experience!! Of course we ordered way too much, but the dishes were superb. We had paella (the veg, fish and meat versions) calamari,chorizo,meatballs, Patatas bravas, bread and olives, pork, prawns, aubergines octopus,chicken and manchego,tortillas, garlic mushrooms and lastly ham croquetas (probably the only item I’d say was not as good but still tasty.) My nut allergy was catered for and everyone was impressed with the food. Some of my friends have already recommended it to people who have been now and agree it’s a hidden gem!! Can’t wait to visit again. Thanks so much for a lovely evening.

I was really looking forward to a tapas meal and ordered 3 very different dishes. The octopus was cold and chewy and came across as if it had been recently defrosted. The spinach and chickpeas were very chewy - I love spinach and have never had spinach that so tough I had to chop it into small pieces before I could eat it. The bomboncitos were delicious and partly made up for the rest. There were quite a few locals in the restaurant who clearly had a great meal and enjoyed their evening so perhaps I am judging too harshly.

Basically a tapas restaurant in a shop in a rather neglected part of Worthing, we had 6 tapas, they were certainly tasty, but the food and especially the wine is overpriced in comparison to other Spanish restaurants given its position. That stated its very popular on a Saturday night at least and the noise was the most negative aspect.

Thoroughly enjoyed it here. Great atmosphere, good alcohol, food was brilliant and will come back and recommend!!

Had a takeaway. Recommended by several friends. Unfortunately, it wasn't as expected. Meat a little tough and not as spicy/garlicy as we expected. I think that we may have been unlucky and will definitely eat in the restaurant soon. Possibly some guidance from the business may have helped.

Many years gone by and didn’t realise this restaurant was there. But we do now and love it. Our Wedding Anniversary, Monday lunch and only us in there but not uncomfortable at all. Proprietor made us so welcome and food was delicious and so much choice. We had six tapas more than enough for two and a lovely bottle of red wine. Good value for money and able to park outside a bonus for me as I use a wheelchair. As it was our Anniversary we had liqueur on the house, a nice touch. Definitely be back soon.

New favourite! Our first date (pesky kids needing baby-sat...) in God knows how long and it was a beautiful atmosphere (the decor is homely and traditional- then added with great music and friendly service) the host was so kind. Food was amazing and very generous tapas portions. On reflection it's a restaurant we could bring even the pickiest of our little ones to. Brilliant value for money, very traditional and the ordering system is so clever. You get these little tick lists essentially of what you want to order thus avoiding any embarrassment at our poor pronunciation of their wonderful dishes. Would recommend to anyone, fabulous hidden gem xx

Service 10/10 but food was awful. Very bland and actually over salted. Prawns in garlic had no taste and we weren’t sure if it was raw or not. Ham cheese croquettes tasted and looked like they had been bought out of Iceland, super fry texture inside. Bread was fresh and cannot fault. Accompanying tomato sauce had zero flavour. It is sad to write this about the food because the service was great.

You are given time to consider your meal. Food comes to the table quite quickly. It’s outstanding. Authentic home-cooking. Fresh ingredients, prepared and cooked with care and knowledge. Each dish is exquisite. Delicious and plentiful. Served straight from the kitchen to the table. We were blown away by the dishes. The atmosphere in the restaurant is electric! Patrons love the vibe. Lovely friendly welcome. Don’t let the outside fool you. Once seated we had exceptional service, options were clearly explained. We went for give tapas between two of us. Food served piping hot, good portions and we were stuffed at the end. However, we still managed to squeeze in a desert. Seriously impressive. We will be back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Ordered through just eat and was told but the restaurant I need to call just eat as my order is sitting getting cold, told them I cannot call them as no number, was told it wasn’t there problem, disgusting attitude and will not use them again

Went out for my Son's birthday, arrived into a quaint restaurant. We were met by a lovely waitress who took us to our table and explained how to order which was novel. The service was spot on and well timed. The food was exceptional and the paella 🥘 was fantastic. Will definitely be returning in the year.

The food here is excellent but if you are on a tight budget, be warned that they added VAT to the prices on the menu.

Disappointing and overpriced. Had great difficulty placing the order online, possibly because it was the first day they were open after Christmas. When we began our meal, some dishes appeared to have been reheated from frozen or chilled. Potatoes were soggy and grainy, not crispy. Portion sizes were inconsistent…some, like prawns were minute while others, like tortillas were huge. The veal cheeks were the best part of the meal.. tender, tasty and delicious. All the recent previous reviews were good, therefore we were expecting authentic freshly cooked food not the poor quality dishes we received.

From the front you would think it's a cafe but you must go inside it's very nice and spacious out the back seating area. The food was excellent as was the staff ,very helpful it was my first visit with friends and I will certainly be going back again.
