Rice Time in Welwyn Hatfield

I live less than 5 mins from the store.. food arrived stone cold. Because the driver couldn’t find my adress food may have been ok if wasn’t cold. I couldn’t collect as child was in bed asleep

No flavour, not particularly warm

34£ order goes in the bin. The sweet and sour chicken and the peper and green onion beef is well overcooked and not even edible. I, m not gonna mention that the shop didn't answer any of my 19 phone calls. Never again...

Ordered a takeaway and the sweet and sour chicken is over cooked the chicken tastes like cardboard. The prawn black bean the prawns are over cooked. I’m so disappointed worst Chinese iv ever had. When delivered the bag was leaking

Only ordered 6 items,yet they clearly can't count that far. Missing food items,unable to contact them as they only have a voice mail. If I'd wanted to eat chips with sauce and rice i could have made it at home and saved almost £40. Stay away.

Just had the beef in black bean sauce and the chicken chow mein. Fresh, succulent and flavoursome. This is the spot.

The first time I ordered some noodles they weren’t that great but I’m so so glad that I gave this place another chance. Been ordering from here via Uber eats and the food has been consistently good and better than most in this area. The beef ho fun was so tender and wasn’t chewy like most takeaways and the food is cooked with care. Would also recommend the capital ribs and chicken in fruity sauce! This food has also been getting me through a depressive episode as a struggle to cook. Also bear in mind that I do Chinese cooking and I am half Asian! So glad to have a nice takeaway in the area 🥡🥢 - Unfortunately do not have photos but will add some soon

Worst Chinese food I have had, never again. The rice was so dry and no taste waste of money. The veg with prawn was OK but not the best. Never again

This food without a doubt was the best I’ve ever had! We ordered £70 worth of food and it’s absolutely faultless. By far the best Chinese I’ve EVER had! 100% will be back!!

Think the bloke before me got my order ?Anyways the rice was good but the chicken balls ' not what I ordered ' but pork balls tasted a bit fishy ? They are cooking in old oil ? Used to come here a lot as great tasting food but not sure why they have dropped the standard to give us less quality food which we pay for ? Wrong order but to be honest the rice was good

They have 4 options for tofu dishes, great for vegans. Would love to see a mock(vegan) duck dish, with pancakes, cucumber and spring rolls with hoisin sauce too! Unfortunately only one chinese (paya) offers that currently with prices way too high.

I ordered a pancake roll. Asked if I wanted a large. It was a bit smaller than I thought. Also frozen pillo pastry not good The quality was not like I expected

Totally recommend to try any kind of noodles. Especially the rice noodles. I just regret not trying this place any sooner. And the staff are very kind and soft-spoken.

Visted “Rice time” for the 1st time and probably the last! Friendly staff but the food was not good. The crispy shredded beef was swimming in a vinegary watery sauce! - Not good! The chicken in Black bean sauce was awful. Had to throw it away. Nice staff but not nice food, which is a Shame but will not be returning there again.

They messed up my order. They were interrupting my speech talking and repeating themselves and didn't let me finish what i wanted to say. No manners towards customer. They didn't apologise.

Lovely food. Good quality meat with lovely flavours, reasonable portion size. A hard find amongst hatfield chinese resturants. Glad we found this place, will definately order again.
