Great stake, good value for money, service the highlight. Kate was brilliant.

Had an amazing experience thanks to Kacey! She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Highly recommend asking for her if you visit!

Used too love miller and carter but over time it has just got more and more expensive with ribeye steak now costing over thirty pounds service in Bell bar was terrible considering how few in restaurnt

Kacey was very attentive and food was amazing, fantastic overall.

Food was cooked perfectly and a great selection especially with the new festive menu. Service was incredibly slow (was there for 3hrs and didn’t even get to order for a good 45mins after arriving!) and had to ask a couple of times for the same things before receiving them.

We had a great meal and service yesterday at Miller and Carter in Brookmans Park. We came to celebrate my partner’s birthday and everything was perfect. My daughter also has allergies and I found our waitress, Emmalina very helpful, friendly and able to answer any questions

Waitresses constantly interrupt your conversation - my pet hate. Steak, onion loaf and onion wedge were reduced in size from our last visit. Waited ages for our coffee and cold drink

Visited again today, 18 November 2024. Still a very smart restaurant, subdued lighting, music not too loud and the place wasn't too busy. We were served by the professional, but friendly, personable and knowledgeable Diane. She gave us some excellent direction on food and side options, including some guidance re 'The Butchers Block' Thanks so much. The Butchers Block itself was glorious, a combination of different cuts of steak with ever flavour you could wish for.

Extremely disappointed below average. Would not recommend this restaurant after tonight’s visit. Was really looking forward to a nice meal, celebrating my mother’s 87 birthday. We are very familiar with good food and service and Miller and Carter didn’t reach the standard anywhere near what we expected. Way over priced for the experience. Would not return after tonight’s visit and definitely wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

A quick lunch stop today. Great food and service from Emmalina

The food came after we had been sat down for an hour and a half. The waiter did not take our order a manager came over after us sitting for 20 minutes and asked if our order had been taken we said no and she did it. The food came it was cold. My lobster had a skin on it where it had been sat for so long. Chips were cold. I ordered a rump steak they bought me out a steak which was not a rump. The steak in my partners dirty burger was pink when she asked for well done. The worst bit of all is that the burger had the cheese sauce still in it when my partner had said no cheese sauce as she is allergic to cheese. We left without eating anything it was a disgrace.

We dined here this week. We visit every couple of months. We were served by Kate. Staff here are always really friendly, knowledgeable about steak and attentive, but Kate went out of her way to be really helpful with my dish. Our food is always great. We love the ambiance. On this occasion we both chose the ribeye steak medium. We recommend Mark West Red wine, the ribeye and sirloin steak choices. Brookmans Park is our favourite Miller and Carter restaurant.

Really disappointed 😞. 5 of us went on Sunday. Stuck upstairs out the way, two poor waitresses run off there feet trying to serve all of upstairs! Waited at least 20 minutes for drinks ! Then waited for starters 🙄 and it went on. My sirlon steak was underdone, so I asked polity for it to be done a bit more. Unfortunately it came back looking burnt and tasted like rubber! Back before they used to change the steak for a fresh one. Didn't eat it. The scampi was all batter and no scampi. I did relay my complaint to the manager. She did listen and apologised. Won't be going back in a hurry! Hope the two waitresses get more help up there! Was a waste of a Sunday to be fair.. Photo is of my burnt offerings!!

The food was delicious as always, but the service from Diane was excellent. She made our daughter's birthday a memorable first experience of Miller & Carter and made her feel special. Even bringing the Birthday cake out a second time with candles after one of our party missed the first one! Thank you so much for all your efforts today! Really enjoyed my lunch today. Certainly a treat. Our waitress, Kate, was a joy. Really knew her stuff and eager to please. I was torn between the ribs and the cheesy garlic mushrooms to start, but then I found I could add a portion of ribs onto my main ribeye steak, so I had both. I am looking forward to my next visit.
