Ordered chicken tikka madras but it was just normal chicken. The quality of the curry and paratha was good, but the curry was a little bland for my tastes, but probably because I was expecting tikka 🤷🏾‍♀️

Portion sizes were terrible. Didn't get more than a handful of chips and barely any chicken pieces in our curry. What we did get was nice but portion sizes way too small

The takeaway that never fails to to deliver... literally, and on price, quality and portion size. Tandoori chicken this time, and it's got to be the best I've had. Half a tender, tasty and perfectly cooked chicken, delicious curry sauce and a fresh salad with lemon for the chicken. All delivered on time, piping hot by a friendly delivery guy. What's not to like?

The order took over 2 hours to arrive and then wasn’t complete when it finally got here. Then when rang the restaurant they was very unhelpful and basically said there’s nothing they can do about it. We wasn’t even offered a reduced price for the partial order that turned up

used to absolutely adore this place, and living in the area me and my family frequently order from here. however over the past few months, the customer service, wait time and accuracy of orders has completely declined. The past 4 times we’ve ordered theres inevitably been an issue; from long wait times, to getting completely the wrong order, or missing items from the order. I completely understand theres occasionally mistakes or misunderstanding as busy family owned establishment, and i’m a very reasonable and understanding person. however its gotten to a point where its almost unbelievable. The worst part is when you phone up to complain or let them know you’ve receive a difference houses order (something that had become almost standard for this takeaway) the worker on the phone offers no solution, compensation or apologies. the best you get is a sheepish “oh we’ll get it to you when we can” Normally by the time you get the full order its barely warm and you cant be mithered to eat it. Overall a shame since the food is absolutely lovely and absolutely banging:(

just fancied a kebab really. I wasn't expecting such a nice one lol. onion bhaji were fresh and crisp without being greasey and the naan that the kebab came in was amazing. Will defo order again 👍🏼

Great value for money, we got the 2 set meals and Rice & Spice allow you to choose your two meals, portion sizes were very big and plenty of food included for the price. delivery was also spot on time so really cannot fault this place. Thank you!

asked for no sald or sauce in the starters both came with onions, threw them in the bin, rung them and they did not care, even though my email receipt shows no salad or sauce

The amount they are charging for 5 pieces of chicken in a curry and the chips are not much bigger that a portion from McDonald's used to be really good this place

Finally found an Indian restaurant that serves proper food, not all those crazy food colourings! The chicken we had is the nicest & juiciest we’ve ever had. The spices and overall taste was amazing! Great value for mkneThought I’d tried you guys before but looks like this is our first time. I know our road is dreadful because of the pot holes but I really hope you can deliver to us again because we will be regular customers without a doubt! Great door service too, really friendly. Will recommend

It was my first time I had visited this particular Indian restaurant. I ordered the chicken rogan josh which is a usual order of mine. Also meat samosas. It was one of the top rogan joshes I have had and also the Samosas were bang on the money. I will definitely be visiting here again in the future that’s for sure.

Had two lovely currues from here yesterday evening, great service food was excellent , good potion size, delivered hot and ontime, our new go to takeaway when we fancy something spicey and full of flavour, Thankyou.

Cancelled order, only reason they get 1 star is because 1 is minimum i can go. Ordered 2 kebabs for delivery. delivery location less than 1 mile from location, took over 1 hour, phoned up was told it set off 2 mins ago. waited further 15 mins and rang again. was told its on way, spoken too by rather rude man on phone on both occasions, he was my 1st time trying there, never got anything in end. would not attempt to try again. Had to wait further 3 hours for refund to be paid, this after many phone calls of where was being told its being done in next 10 mins each time.

If I could give 0 I would! Order came to £53.10 for 4 of us. They completely missed one of our meals so called them up and they stated that we didn’t order which I know I did. So we added everything up off the menu of what we received and it should have been £40!! Yet they charged us £13 extra and we should have received 10% off as we paid cash and ordered over the phone!! So phoned up explained and was greeted by the most rude ignorant person I’ve ever spoken (small Asian man who was cooking in the kitchen) who told me I was wrong and that they would not refund! Disgraceful behaviour! So went back down after we had already collected food and asked them how the got to £53.10 the man on the phone told me I would have to wait 10 min as he was busy! After already wasting my time as I had to come back! Another man came out the back who was slightly better trying to sort the problem out, a few arguments later they admitted that they was wrong! The guy who took the order and spoke very rudely would not admit he was wrong no apology etc! Disgusting customer service! Finally got £10 back should have been £13 but it was better than nothing! Frequent buyers from here too but I definitely will not be coming back anymore! Make sure you add it up off the menu before you order because somehow they added an extra £13 onto our order and couldn’t tell us where that came from!

I will never go back ripped off over 22 pounds for 2 meals to take away. Meals were not even tasty threw them away.

Horrible this place. Prices are overpriced. How can you charge £10 for 4 small lambs chops and a unacceptable salad??! And they were super salty. The kurma chicken barely any chicken in it. £8 for a curry that has no chicken and no rice, no nan, no nothing. And to top all that you pay 5 pounds for chicken tikka and chips, which cames with 6 pieces of sliced chicken... Never again, do not recommend. There are so much better options locally.

I’ve been ordering from here for over 2 years, in recent months the prices have gone up considerably (understandable) but the quality of the food has dropped well below a 2 out of 5 now. The curry we had yesterday was the last time.

Flavour was on points, great selection and many great dishes to choose from. Interior design was on point and seating was very comfortable. If your looking for great asian food then this is the place for you. Highly recommend

They should change its name to 'Rice & Not So Nice. First time here and certainly the last... Decided to try somewhere new with a discount on Uber. Wish I didn't now, but hey, it's give me a chance to try it so you don't have too. CAULIFLOWER BHAJI - Partner had this, bland and very Salty, tasted off. VEGETABLE SAMOSA - Wow, gone are the days when most Indian Takeaways made there own scrumptious BIG triangular samosas, all you get now is pre-made frozen little triangles to cut down on food prep or they've forgot how to cook and dipped in the fryer for a few minutes. These were priced at £2.75 (Total Ripoff) , 5p more than the meat ones too, if they are the same size, I'd certainly pass buying these as well. Should only cost £1.50 MAX and that's pushing it for frozen tosh. ONION BHAJI - These were on offer, BOGOF, not really surprised, they must want rid. They were tasteless & hard. The Mint sauce that came with it, Greener than the Hulk, ain't mint sauce suppose to be white with a bit of mint herbs in?. It looked radioactive. DONNER TRAY - Son had this, says it was weirdly spicy, didn't like it at all. TANDOORI BUTTER CHICKEN - I had this as love Butter Chicken, but this, naw, absolutely bland as anything, no taste whatsoever. BASMATI PILAU RICE - The only good thing to arrive from this place, light and fluffy, not clumped together. Conclusion, would I order from this place if I was desperate?, not a chance. Small portions, hefty priced, Pre-made frozen rubbish, Bland & tasted off. Darjeeling or Xotica all the way.

The chicken tikka bouna is to die for ngl, the chips are delicious. My uncle ordered a lamb curry n he ordered it, just wish they hadn’t filled mine with onions, as i told them im allergic to them, so i just have a plain bouna with no onions or peppers. Got it n it was filled with onions, n they more often than not, get the orders wrong sometimes, n the drivers NEVER have any change, n your usually waiting over an hour for your order. But other than that, its just a fairly average takeaway, nothin special 3 out of 5 for me.

Ordered using Uber Eats with a 50% off voucher code sent to me by Uber Eats, restaurant called me and refused to honour the offer. Had to cancel the order. Disgusting customer service, would recommend they are avoided.

I previously gave this place a glowing review, sadly I wish to retract it. My 83 year old mother sometimes treats herself to a delivery meal from here. Recently she was overcharged £3.00 on her doorstep, my mother being a generous and trusting soul, then gave the delivery driver another £1.00 as a tip. When I visited her the following day, she mentioned the price. It clicked when she said she was "surprised how much their prices have gone up". I checked the prices on their menu, against the items she had ordered. I haven't told her she was ripped off, it would upset her too much, she always speaks so highly of the chaps she speaks to on the phone at Rice & Spice. I can't be bothered trying to contact the owner, I have no idea who is responsible. However, let me be clear, an old age pensioner was overcharged by £3.00, the driver then happily accepted a £1.00 tip. This is a vile way to treat any customer, never mind a trusting elderly lady. Avoid,

Ordered this on line at 6.20pm tonight delivery was supposed to be at 7.40pm had to ring at 8pm it was delivered at 8.10 nothing free in the bag and we could tell it had only just been made

Not had rice and spice for a long time. Orderd friday night. Was over an hour for delivery stone cold rice. Mix starter cold and they sent the wrong curry. Wont be orderering again. Stick to darjeeling. Can't fault them.

ordered a meal from here during the week ,well don't no were to start ,my partner had a chicken kebab it had 5 pieces of chicken on it the salad looked like leftovers from McDonald's, and was all cold my meal was a chicken madras it contained 4 pieces of chicken and tasted like dirt was mixed in with it,the chips I think were from the day before, I have used rice and spice for 15 years contacted them to resolve the situation but after being promised a phone call from the manager he never called, disgusting customer relations I went use the again,

Absolutely disgusting! Ordered a mixed kebab with salad, got 5 slices of chicken 3 slices of something unrecognizable and a sheikh not shish( as shIsh is steak) we got mince! With cabbage!! Rang and asked where salad was and lack of meat for 6 25 was told cabbage is salad and if don't like food don't order again!! Disgusting!!! Would not recommend to anyone! Appalling customer service well no customer service AVOID AT ALL COST!
