Poundbakery in Salford

I’ve had a passion for Pound Bakery mince pies for several years but those I bought today have changed my mind. The pastry was tasteless and brittle instead of the usual tasty shortcrust. Whatever they’ve done to them is not a success, they’re awful. They used to be the best.

I was about to go in and buy food until I seen the girl who works in there with the barms all over the floor. Unsanitary and disgusting.

Going to pound bakery changed my life. The money I saved on the great bargins went into buying pants with a bigger waist. I do enjoy the cheese on toast and a chat. Very good place highly recommended if you're hungry.

My daughter mentioned that she was in this store today and the young women behind the counter was rude and disrespectful to her and the adult she was with ....

Got a sausage barm for £1.85 that was really good and value for money. Then as I was paying I spotted the Double Sausage and egg muffin (McDonalds esque) and grabbed that too for £2.50 The meat pattys were really hard, don't know if it had been sat there for a while or if that is the usual texture. I had to throw most of it away. Would never get that item again.

Don’t bother going. Don’t even open when they say they do. Woman behind the counter said she’d rather see me starve than open on time

Good selection of cakes & pasties etc. Recommended

Food was OK had some pasties and balm cakes. The lady was really nice and happy to help.

Just went in to get some pasty the old lady so rude with that much attuide saying you what, if am talking nicely you should to if you don't want to work their don't bother not with that attuide I always come here but with that attuide no one want to come here she need to sort the attuide an be normal not a witch Thank you

Don't order toast from breakfast menu, the staff will ensure you not buying it again by over loading it with cheap margarine

The food is always cold, some of the staff are also rude

More variety, cheaper and tastier than Greggs opposite
