Rice Bowl in Wigan

Despite ordering before 6.:15 and a very long estimate of 7.30 for delivery it was still almost an hour late. The food however was authentic, generous portions and very tasty. The delivery person was polite. The food is a five star, managing expectations a one. If you want great food delivered at a random time, this is your place. Alternatively collect.

They have forgot some of our order. And orderd a sweet and sour chicken balls and received cheap chicken nuggets with a sweet n sour sauce , not worth the money, and can’t contact them as the phone number doesn’t work

Under no circumstances use this takeaway! Completely inedible food, missing items, we have Chinese food takeaway regular but this was very very poor. Ribs were hard, even soft noodles were overdone, very scared to eat it! DO NOT USE THIS TAKEAWAY

We’re do I start 40 mins late Cold food I ordered a vermiseli if that’s what they say it is I have been eating the wrong dish for 10 years Called to see were food was to be told it coming and they put the phone down Should of stuck with beans on toast Everything swimming in fat First time using and WILL NEVER USE AGAIN Also charged £4.00 for delivery when less than a mile from my house not a happy bunny right now

Ordered food from here to be delivered, not the best, ordered special cashew , no prawns in it as advertised didn’t come with the chips as advertised, chicken fried rice dry, salt and psychics ok. Would I order again from here, definitely NOT

For 6 years this was the only place we would order food from. The standard was awesome the portions fantastically filling. Then one night we ordered, took nearly 2 hours to arrive and the food was completely different in all ways to what we usually had. Either there is a new chef of it has changed owners, either way the standard of both service and food is terrible now.

Don’t know what has happened to this place. Used to be really good, food already an hour late and when I phoned 20 mins ago the person who answered the phone just kept laughing and said it would be just ten minutes. It was almost an hour late last time CRAP

Saturday 11th May. Received our take away order about 7.45 pm . Crispy chilli beef, hardly any beef. Chicken and cashewnuts burnt and tiny with no flavour, special fried rice was okish. Rang them before we started the food to ask about the half portions to be greeted by a woman telling me that is it. Very rude, food not good would recommend all to stay away.

I get take away every week from here there chicken chow mien is delicious, as are there salt n pepper chips, hot food cooked to order, can’t fault them.

We love Chinese food and struggled finding a good chinese takeaway until we found the Rice Bowl. Very very happy, fast delivery, reasonable prices and no complaints. Was sad when it came off Just Eat but we have their phone number to order over the phone. Would definitely recommend.

Chips, crispy rolls tasted of prawns. So either not cleaning fryers properly or/and using same fryer for prawn toast for everything. Good job I don't have a shell fish allergy! Food was delivered fast. Portion size of sweet and sour chicken was small.

we order from here in a weekly basis. I love the prawn dumplings and won ton soup. Wanted something a bit healthier tonight so ordered a prawn chop diet knowing what it usually contains and tastes like from every where else. I was majorly disappointed. ideas like a tub of sweet sauce had been added....yuk!! Will not order this again. And the ribs were dry. Majorly disappointed did not finish. There is a coating of sweet stuff on my teeth. Great! Not.

Have used the rice bowl several times and not yet had a bad meal from here. My wife is a big fan of the sweet and sour chicken I prefer the curry dishes full of flavour. Not the cheapest but certainly the best we have found so far in the Wigan area.

Had ordered in the past so thought I'd try again. Lots of food choice , fast delivery hot and extremely tasty . Would highly recommend

Had previously ordered from rice bowl and was very impressed with food quality and delivery. Lots of food choice , arrives hot and very tasty good quality with a free extra portion of crackers . Would definitely order again

This is not a restaurant or cafe, Chinese takeaway. No seating areas or table's sorry to say. Their food is ok but sometimes they making mistake by taking the their order's.
