Ricco Pizza in Barnsley

First two pizza missing so charged £23 for a dinner meat and chips driver said I should call shop said sorry will be 20 minutes arrive start eating find hairs in both pizzas !! Phones shop sorry we will replace- urm no thanks hygiene should better than that won’t be going back!!!Extra hygiene should be in place due to Covid but clearly missing simple basics in this shop!

Probably should have read reviews before ordering "special burger" with extra cheese. Burgers are supposed to come with salad and fries, I ordered extra cheese on burger. the burger bun was mush, so wet that I couldn't get it out of the container, the salad consisted of a few lettuce shreds and raw onion strips, I couldn't see or taste any cheese or fried mushrooms, The fries were hardly warm and it was almost tasteless, McDonalds have nothing to fear. Overall very disappointed poor value for money considering a £2 delivery and £1 SERVICE charge, I hope the service charge was for the driver. I hope the pizzas are better than their burgers but don't think I'll take the risk

Bit expensive but staff and food first class so worth it every time you get what you pay for fast high class service

We always order from here and it’s usually really nice but tonight however was a different story. Me and my sister bit into our pizza (one was a piece of mushroom pizza and the other was Margherita pizza) and both slices had really long hairs in them, it was disgusting we spat it out straight away! Also on the mushroom pizza there was a whole clove of garlic on the top of it which again I had to spit out. Also I ordered halloumi fries at £3.80 a portion to only get 5 tiny pieces of halloumi, what a rip off. My mum phoned up to let them know about it and they offered to send more food but who wants to eat more food when you’ve found two long hairs in it. Disgusting. Will not be ordering from here again which is a shame when we order from here all the time.

We ordered food as we were late home from work, the order arrived and part of the order was missing. Rang the takeaway and all we got was we will send you it out with next order. I explained this was not good service to be told again sorry will be with you in 10 minutes. Not great service to have half family eating and the rest left. Won’t be ordering again!

They have got 5* food hygiene and it’s always been the best in townWe have always been a big fan of Ricco’s Pizza Shop, ever pizza has always been fresh tasty and a big hit with our kids. If you want to spice up one of the existing chooses to super hot, or other ingredients Ricco is more than happy to help

Ordered food for delivery last night I was delivered on time and staff very pleasant However the food calzone was wet on the bottom and had to burnt taste the chilli sauce was very thick and tasted like tomato concentrate will not recommend disappointed.0

Waited over an hour for our food, got rang 4 times to confirm the address and then they rang us saying it’s gone to another address, an hour and 15 mins later we received our food which was freezing, then we noticed we didn’t have the pop and chilli dip we ordered, when I rang the girl I spoke to was shocking and said it couldn’t be cold because it comes straight from the hot plate, when I said it had been delivered to the wrong address she said well it’s not far from your address anyway, absolutely shocking customer service.Will NEVER be ordering from Rico’s again after tonight and suggest they get some staff that can deal with customers in the proper way

I have been a customer for over 15years never ever had a bad pizza ever order nearly once a week ricco is lovely too

Disappointed when we order a takeaway for delivery and the assitant reads back what we have orderd and it still arrives with something missing this is not the first time this has happend.Dont think we will order again from here even though they come back with the missing food rest of the takeaway is cold check your orders ricco.s before delivering them please.

Ordered chicken wraps, mixed kebab and garlic bread. Got a free bottle of coke! Delivery efficient and quick. Best thing was everything we ordered was delivered unlike some other places.

Used Riccos for years and always enjoyed. On this occasion the order was wrong, Riccos were informed and this was rectified by swapping the pizza. However, the overall quality of the pizza wasn't very good and we won't be using this service again.

Ordered chicken kebab with chilli sauce and mixed salad. Salad was so fresh and tasty and pitta lovely and warm and chicken tasty too, only thing was chillia sauce was cold. Delivery driver friendly and food arrived quick.

Ordered Pizza and Garlic Bread. Went to collect order. Food ready very warm and tasty no complaints will order again.

Tardaron años comida dijeron conductor fuera hace mucho tiempo, cuando llamamos a Chase! Pizza era bastante pasada, cálido y las coberturas son de mala calidad muy transformados. Obviamente friolera comprado. Simplemente no vale la pena el dinero, mejor para hacer sus propias.

Bland pizza, very expensive. Pizza bases are nice, but the toppings don't really taste of anything. They do nice garlic bread and the place is clean and tidy.

Just had a pizza delivered from Riccos, worst pizza I have ever had. it was soggy and under cooked, the massive lumps of tomato and pepper were also uncooked. They describe the pizza as having a touch of garlic butter. Mine had several clumps of minced garlic, not very nice at all.Needless to say it went in the bin. I have had Calzone pizzas from them in the past that have been very nice.Perhaps they had a different person making the pizzas today? They need training up.

I ordered 2 pizzas for delivery and wait over 1 hour 30 minutes for it to arrive and be of very poor standard.

There pizzas taste like cardboard with tomato ketchup and gone of cheese went to pick it up and staff was shouting at each other behind the counter swearing, for you like bad food and terrible customer service this is the place for you.

Great place to order a takeaway.Great pizza, kebabs, burgers etc.Not great if your on a diet, but if your notFill your boots.

Our regular pizza place, best one around - love the fresh pasta dishes too. Something on the menu for everyone- kebabs, chicken, salads etc

I only ever buy Calzone pizza from Italian type takeaways because that is one thing I cannot make myself. The Calzone from here are delicious, full of tasty ingredients and they look appetising too.

Authentic pizzas that can be delivered to your door. Always of good quality and are reasonably priced.

Brilliant food! I ordered pizza and it was very much like the pizza you would have on holiday which was fantastic! Would strongly reccomend! :)

Have been using Ricco's pizza for several years. My preferred pizza shop. Very consistent and out of the local outlets I think it's the best.

Always order from here usually every week. Nice pizzas wraps and sides always comes hot. Fair prices not found a better pizza place local
