Lovely food everything cooked lovely thank you

Ordered some food at 945 never turned up said would be here for 11 waited then realised it was closed what a waste of time starving

Not as good as we have had before. Pizza toppings all pilled in middle and not spread. Tomato garlic bread had hardly any tomato on it and the chips with the kebab meat were really soggy. All tasted good apart from chips but not the best overall.

We ordered a calzone and a burger, the calzone was fine. The burger tasted like I had bought a pack of 20 burgers for £1 from Iceland, absolutely awful. It’s not been the best for the last few orders from there, but this was awful

Food was delivered early which was great however order was missing items. The burger also tasted & absolutely stunk of strong plastic & left a horrid aftertaste. Not impressed with this place & will not be returning.

Food cold. Poorly packaged. Below par food. Clear that the restaurant was busy and trying to throw food out. If you are too busy and cannot provide a quality takeaway then don’t accept orders! £25 for that. Unforgivable! Will not be returning.

Spoke to the female staff at Chico’s and I explained you sent me a text 30 mins ago saying enjoy your food and I haven’t received it yeh they just set off I said this is the second time this has happened it makes me not want to use you anymore . She said that’s fine and put phone down . I won’t be using them anymore money is very tight at the moment , mine is better spent somewhere else sorry .

Burger was dry and had a shard of bone when I bit into it. Used to be decent food but over the past couple of months the quality has really dropped. Very sad.

Pizza was nice kids meals were not nice and not hot , kebab meat was rubbery

Asked for salad on only one wrap and garlic mayo on both instead only one had garlic mayo and both had salad chicken meat could be a bit more milder as it was spicy

Normally the best but tonight was a complete let down, turned up near enough 45 minutes late which meant everything was cold therefore making it a complete waste of money also if you are going to sell side salad make it something more substantial for £2, very disappointing

food was hot when delivered and really enjoyable.kids enjoyed it too.fast delivery and all packed perfectly

Don’t know what happened, but the kebab meat had a really nasty taste to it and it wasn’t edible very unlike Chicos , the burger itself was good. Hopefully a one off with the kebab

Pizza was vile, asked for bbq chicken and just got chicken with grated cheese on top. The burger was nice.

burger was like a cardboard Wellington, chips floppy and bland, garlic mushrooms were alright but still quite bland - not recommended

unfortunatly the things came cold but burger tasted great. will try again & collect myself nxt time.

Kebabs lovely, pizza nice, chips are undercooked and soggy. Every single time we order there is always something missing whether it be drinks or full meals. Every time.

One of best pizzas I’ve had from Chico’s tonight, dunno why all Karen’s of Barnsley are leaving bad reviews when it’s probs best place in Barnsley for pizzas. Full of snobs this town haha. And nowhere does garlic mayo like Chico’s, 10/10

The pizza was fine but the chips were stale and obviously old chips that had been warmed up

had to phone restaurant. not printed our order off. had we not rang we would still have been waiting for ages. had to wait again as order was made. 2 hours after ordering. not good enough.

We ordered Calzones, no sauce, very dry, very bland, no salad, literaly just chicken and kebab meat. Very disappointed.

Recently discovered this restaurant and have fallen in love. With a good selection of starters and sides alongside a very healthy chicken tower burger it's fast becoming a regular for me to order from. Highly recommend the chicken tower burger and their garlic sauce is brilliant. Getting chips with any burger is also a great deal. Highly recommended especially for the price!

First time coming here and such amazing customer service! Service with a smile. We ordered a 12” Pizza and it was absolutely lovely, not very greasy compared to most takeaways.

Cold food, waiting over an hour for delivery. Fries cold and hard. Pizza with peppers, clearly marked without. Overall, I don't recommend it

My favourite takeaway. And last night really made my entire day after getting my order slightly late due to some confusion I also received the order again 15 mins later for FREE! So I was extremely happy! Thank you Chicos will always be my number 1!

I ordered and paid for 2 sauces and only chilli came . You missed the garlic sauce off but still charged me . !!

Worst I’ve had cold chips wasn’t cooked

We ordered today and my husband ordered some garlic sauce which wasn't in the bag . This happens to us a lot. Food OK delivery time over a hour . Missing items. Didn't bother calling them as it would have taken them another hour to get it to us.

Just never seem to read the attached notes you send about what you want they just ignore it and send whatever annoying and again pizza meant to be a 12” comes 9”rest just plain crust

Ordered 2 x 1/4 pounders got 2 x half pounders, ordered chilli sauce got garlic mayo, driver tried delivering to the wrong address and it then arrived cold. What an absolute shambles. Well done for getting the onion rings correct 👍

Food must have been dropped. All pizza toppings were swept across to one side of the box and off the pizza. Chicken kebab box squashed with food inside. No salad included. No chilli sauce included

I've been robbed and scammed on Uber eats never said that they don't deliver to my address they accepted the order and cancel it half hour in and kept my money so I rang them asking for my money back and they refuse absolutely disgusting

I used to run a pizzeria so, naturally, I'm fussy about my pizza, but I can honestly say that the one Chicos delivered this evening was hands-down the best takeaway pizza I've had in my life. We like to try new places and took a blind punt on these guys (mostly because we were hungry and they advertised the fastest delivery time) but I can't imagine ordering from anyone else in the Barnsley area now. Everything was perfect; from the really good hand-stretched (I think) dough which had the perfect amount of cook and chew to it, to the abundance of fresh, high quality meat and veggie toppings, to the best quality bacon I've ever tasted on a pizza... Even the jalapeños were a cut above! Just absolutely delicious from the first to the last bite. I normally save a few slices for the next day but I couldn't stop eating it and now I can't move. Delivery took a bit longer than advertised (I did think 25 mins was ambitious) but I can't even bring myself to dock them a star for that. We'll definitely be ordering again so I really hope they can keep the quality this high time and time again. Pro tip: Get the Italian herb blend as an additional topping for 15p! And no, they didn't pay me to write this: Having worked in the industry I just like to shout about good pizza when I find it, especially in the most unexpected places!

Portion size was tiny, forgot the sauce I ordered and chips tasted like they’d been microwaved… everything else did taste lovely just a shame there was so little for the price paid

Good quality food at a decent price

The chips were cold and soggy, the calzone didn't have any of the sause ordered in it, the chicken strip batter was dripping in oil and soggy, and the chicken burger was just mush. We left more than we ate. Disgusted. I've ordered from here many times but I will be trying elsewhere

Order came in time, 1 pizza was ok the other wasnt great. I wouldnt order the bolognese pizza again. Disappointed overall.

Ordered from here last night and was embarrassed the kids meal burger was soggy and caked in mayonnaise so that's all he could taste my girlfriends was the exact same chips soggy and tasted like cardboard my house special kebab was small and the meat was tough and just awful won't be coming back and the chips again was like cardboard with the keabab

I ordered a garlic bread with donner and jalapeños. The flavour over all was good. However it had way too much donner, jalapeños and chilli peppers. Some say the more the better but not when it’s that much it’s sickly and really greasy. The man who served me had attitude as first I said 9inch then changed my mind to 12inch as it was around 2£difference:/

Went there the other night to get myself a kebab, was probably one of the best I’ve ever had here in Barnsley, decent price too!

Been a loyal customer for over 20year sent a calzone out burnt then send another calzone out dough was not cooked soggy raw sent back twice then told me am baned wow the food use to be banging years ago now it's vile not even worth the 1 star 🤢🤢 just don't take care anymore in what ya sending out!!

Absolutely disgusting service ordered online for a delivery and they left me an hour and a half waiting for food to only them cancel my order without trying to contact me by saying I was too far for them to deliver when I only live 2 miles away absolutely disgusting service and had no apology

We have tried a lot of different kebab/pizza takeaways in the Barnsley area over the years and we always come back to Chicos! I love their kebab meat, it’s so full of flavour, their salads are always fresh and their garlic sauce/Mayo is super garlicky (just how we like it as we are garlic-obsessed!) The Pizza’s are amazing too! The staff are always friendly whether we phone or pick up our order, but they know us now after all of these years and can usually predict our order before we even open our mouths to speak 😂 (probably not best to admit that we order from them that much, haha!) They usually give us an estimated delivery time frame, but they typically deliver a lot earlier than the time frame provided. There has been the odd occasion over the years where they’ve forgotten things from our order, and we’ve received our food with something missing, but they’re happy to rectify the issue and always get it sorted. I really don’t think they’re a bad takeaway at all and I recommend them to my friends and family.

I ordered a kebab,fries, mayo and onion rings. When they arrived the mayo had burst over everything. Phoned Chico's they offered more food said no as it was cold when it arrived. She hung up on me. Won't be using them again.
