Food must have been dropped. All pizza toppings were swept across to one side of the box and off the pizza. Chicken kebab box squashed with food inside. No salad included. No chilli sauce included

I've been robbed and scammed on Uber eats never said that they don't deliver to my address they accepted the order and cancel it half hour in and kept my money so I rang them asking for my money back and they refuse absolutely disgusting

I used to run a pizzeria so, naturally, I'm fussy about my pizza, but I can honestly say that the one Chicos delivered this evening was hands-down the best takeaway pizza I've had in my life. We like to try new places and took a blind punt on these guys (mostly because we were hungry and they advertised the fastest delivery time) but I can't imagine ordering from anyone else in the Barnsley area now. Everything was perfect; from the really good hand-stretched (I think) dough which had the perfect amount of cook and chew to it, to the abundance of fresh, high quality meat and veggie toppings, to the best quality bacon I've ever tasted on a pizza... Even the jalapeños were a cut above! Just absolutely delicious from the first to the last bite. I normally save a few slices for the next day but I couldn't stop eating it and now I can't move. Delivery took a bit longer than advertised (I did think 25 mins was ambitious) but I can't even bring myself to dock them a star for that. We'll definitely be ordering again so I really hope they can keep the quality this high time and time again. Pro tip: Get the Italian herb blend as an additional topping for 15p! And no, they didn't pay me to write this: Having worked in the industry I just like to shout about good pizza when I find it, especially in the most unexpected places!

Accepted my order didn't tell me they didn't deliver to my house and refused to give me my money back

Kebab was so soggy couldn’t eat it garlic sauce was nice

Portion size was tiny, forgot the sauce I ordered and chips tasted like they’d been microwaved… everything else did taste lovely just a shame there was so little for the price paid

Had chicos delivery for long time tonight worst ever food was cold and tasted horrible and fatty . Shouldn't have to warm everything up in microwave never happened before. Rang to complain and said it was traffic !!!

The chips were cold and soggy, the calzone didn't have any of the sause ordered in it, the chicken strip batter was dripping in oil and soggy, and the chicken burger was just mush. We left more than we ate. Disgusted. I've ordered from here many times but I will be trying elsewhere

Ordered from here last night and was embarrassed the kids meal burger was soggy and caked in mayonnaise so that's all he could taste my girlfriends was the exact same chips soggy and tasted like cardboard my house special kebab was small and the meat was tough and just awful won't be coming back and the chips again was like cardboard with the keabab

I ordered a garlic bread with donner and jalapeños. The flavour over all was good. However it had way too much donner, jalapeños and chilli peppers. Some say the more the better but not when it’s that much it’s sickly and really greasy. The man who served me had attitude as first I said 9inch then changed my mind to 12inch as it was around 2£difference:/

Went there the other night to get myself a kebab, was probably one of the best I’ve ever had here in Barnsley, decent price too!

Been a loyal customer for over 20year sent a calzone out burnt then send another calzone out dough was not cooked soggy raw sent back twice then told me am baned wow the food use to be banging years ago now it's vile not even worth the 1 star 🤢🤢 just don't take care anymore in what ya sending out!!

Absolutely disgusting service ordered online for a delivery and they left me an hour and a half waiting for food to only them cancel my order without trying to contact me by saying I was too far for them to deliver when I only live 2 miles away absolutely disgusting service and had no apology

We have tried a lot of different kebab/pizza takeaways in the Barnsley area over the years and we always come back to Chicos! I love their kebab meat, it’s so full of flavour, their salads are always fresh and their garlic sauce/Mayo is super garlicky (just how we like it as we are garlic-obsessed!) The Pizza’s are amazing too! The staff are always friendly whether we phone or pick up our order, but they know us now after all of these years and can usually predict our order before we even open our mouths to speak 😂 (probably not best to admit that we order from them that much, haha!) They usually give us an estimated delivery time frame, but they typically deliver a lot earlier than the time frame provided. There has been the odd occasion over the years where they’ve forgotten things from our order, and we’ve received our food with something missing, but they’re happy to rectify the issue and always get it sorted. I really don’t think they’re a bad takeaway at all and I recommend them to my friends and family.

I ordered a kebab,fries, mayo and onion rings. When they arrived the mayo had burst over everything. Phoned Chico's they offered more food said no as it was cold when it arrived. She hung up on me. Won't be using them again.

First time ordering Got charged £3:50 for delivery When menu states £1:50 Chipd cold and soggy House special kebab had no grilled peppers swimming in grease no salad and no garlic sauce total waste of £16

First time ordering Kebab meat was excellent, however the Nachos with salsa, cheese and jalapeños was very disappointing for the price paid.(£5.90) Nachos (less than half a small packet of nachos) salsa (less than a tablespoon) cheese (again less than a tablespoon and it was congealed on top and looked inedible). Will make my own next time, lesson learned. Service was excellent.

Having been a loyal customer of Chicos for 30 years+ I'm very disappointed that the chips always seem to be re-fried. Ordered tonight and they were just totally inedible. I tried to call and request another portion that were freshly cooked but of course nobody answered. Lazy and unacceptable when paying good money. It doesnt take long to fry a few chips! .. despite my loyalty over the years I will now be ordering elsewhere for my regular takeaways. No disrespect to the delivery people as they are always friendly. I would advice to avoid until they improve their professionalism in providing the food we expect to be edible and not a waste of money. Where did your pride go Stavros?

Waited hour and a half for cold food. It was like rubber. Tartare sauce was warmer than the food. Never ever again. The bag the food was in smelled of cigarette smoke also. Absolutely disgusting

If I could give no stars I would! Placed an order at 20:30, told food would be delivered at 21:15, at 21:20 we got a message to inform us our order had been cancelled after waiting over 45 minutes! Tried to call the shop, phones have been turned off and unable to contact. Poor customer service.

Really disappointed with my order. Raved about this place but tonight the food was not up to scratch. It didn't seem fresh, it was loop warm. It was over an hour late.

Well what can i say. I've been raving about this place to friends but tonight it's been terrible. An hour and a half late, ordered 12" deep pan pizza's came in 11" boxes and wasn't deep pan. Food wasn't fresh like it had been sat for ages. Shame.

This takeaway has been a family fave for 5+ years and today was the "Starry Night" of takeaways, their pizza's are second to none, AND their cheesy garlic bread was by far the best i have ever tasted. Finally Chicos made my 21st bday extra special, with a lovely birthday message. Thanks the Chicos team!

The pizza I ordered was lovely and it came on time. However, I ordered garlic as an extra topping for £1.20 and the pizza arrived with ZERO garlic on it. An expensive extra topping that didn't get added and Just Eat didn't think that was a worthy complaint... lovely pizza but on principle won't order again..

The single worst pizza i have ever eaten (or tried to eat) a puddle of oil/grease that i had to tip off to try the pizza, chips was half a portion. Tubs of sauce where half full for £1.30 each. Even the can of coke was warm. Absolute load of rammle. Never go here

Sent order wrong missed things off rang up and had to wait over 30 minutes for some chips when it’s literally round the corner. Had 2 sets of chips 1st was stale and cold then 2nd after waiting for them to be delivered was cold as well. Pizza was good, burger was alright but bun looked like it had been bashed in by Tyson Fury.

Food was good and delivered on time, however the chips were cold and needed to be re-heated.
