Chicken Stop in Barnsley

I really cannot fault them at all, even my little boy loves their food and he's very picky. We order the banquet from the family meals and it's more than enough. Will definitely be getting food from here again. Thank you

Do not use chicken stop hoyland when you add items to your order and they not delivered it and they said its not there fault and won't do anything about it robbing gets will never go near the place again

Yet again an absolutely beautiful meal, chicken cooked to perfection, hot when arrived, good value for your money, highly recommend, best chicken I have ever had !!

Almost every item in order was wrong and cold terrible food don’t recommend this at all this is not the first time this has happened won’t be ordering from here again!

Driver was very polite shame about the food second time getting food from here first was shop second was delivery both times absolutely appauling wouldn’t mind if it’s a small order but it never is so money down the drain literally ! chicken extremely dry never cooked fresh in all this world chips either undercooked or double cooked both times the garlic bread was rock solid and couldn’t even bite into it it’s absolutely disgusting and every time trying to complain no answer miraculously would advise everyone to steer clear from this place god knows how it’s still open !

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Gone downhill lately but tonight finished it for me. The new owner / chef, he introduced himself to me by talking over the till staff trying to offer stuff I did not want. He went to back and started smoking and vaping with staff I could see from the till into the back. Sure shouldn't be doing this in a back kitchen that prepares food. They came from the back after smoking to make food and then he rubbed his face and poked up his nose and did not wash his hands and carried on touching food. Then how he came to the counter spoke to the till staff and driver like poo on his shoes that's putting it nicely. I would not be spoken to like that from anyone. Outside while I vaped the driver said he is not a nice person and lost some staff already the way he has been to them. To top it off under 5 min drive home the food was cold, my burger asked for plain and got salad on, the wrap had a hair in it and garlic bread cheese had about 3 strands of cheese on at best. Very poor and won't be ordering again.

Can not even give this any stars the food was dry the chips were cold and the doner meat was so dry. You can tell everything was sat the chicken was not even crispy it was dry. To have spent 30.00 pounds for this is truly a disappointment. To call and express how unhappy we were and then to be told i did it myself to add a review. Will not be using again Think before you order

Placed my order for collection. Was told 45-60 mins. Turned up after 45 minutes and the food was cold. Requested large cheesy chips with grated cheese. Received small with no cheese. Disappointed 😞☹️

Have ordered pizza for delivery several times now, each time the food arrived quickly and piping hot. Love how customizable the Pizzas are, really tasty, can’t fault them at all.

You may not have noticed this but I am partial to a bit of the white stuff (if you know what I mean), however after a sizeable purchase of well over £16000 pounds. I was dreadfully surprised when I heard a quiet clucking noise coming from my thin paper bag … at first I thought I was going crazy but then all of a sudden 12 bald chickens hatched before my very eyes… it was a thing of intense beauty and I recommend it to anyone who is an eager chicken lover like me, however this is not the experience I was looking for when I got a second mortgage on my house. Subsequently the wife has left and took the kids she says I’m a disgrace and I blame this on YOU “chicken stop” if that even is your real name … sounds fake to me … WHO ARE YOU … WHO DO YOU WORK FOR … defo a gang can smell it from here … I’m like a sniffer dog but for chicken fraud. Anyways once the chickens were cooked they were lovely 10/10 however was slightly disappointed I had to cook myself … lovely staff chips were mediocre

Kids pizza was barely warm. Cheese wasn't melted. Lettuce on the burgers were brown and the chips was barely cooked. Very disappointing and won't be ordering again

I blame myself for getting a pizza from a place called Chicken Stop. I ordered fried chicken aswell which to be honest was pretty good. The pizza however was obviously loaded into the drivers car incorrectly as it was folded over and a general mess. I also ordered Pepperoni. The was literally ONE piece of pepperoni on the entire pizza which did make me chuckle. The pizza when flattened back out was like a wet sponge - just squeezed full of grease and went in the bin. Stick to chicken and chips from this place if anhything.

I ordered food for delivery through just eat from this restaurant and was given a estimated time for delivery, After half an hour past the delivery time I chased the order directly with the restaurant and was told it was just getting ready for delivery. An hour later I had to call them again and was told by the same person that they couldn’t give a time scale, I asked if it had actually left for delivery and she said actually parts hadn’t even been prepared (cooked). So after waiting over an hour and half I had two hungry kids and no food at which point I cancelled my order as I wasn’t getting any apologies or food obviously. If I could give less stars I would and certainly won’t be ordering from there again!

Spent 17 pound on food that wasn’t fit for consumption. The chicken fillets had a weird taste and were dry. The other chicken must have been left under extreme heat lamps or recycled from yesterday. We end up giving it to the dog and even she wouldn’t eat it. The only consumable part was the sealed bottle of Pepsi. If you want good food there are many other places to get it, there is even a KFC not too far away

worst take away i’ve ever had, chicken was absolutely awful, soggy and didn’t even seem fried as the ‘breadcrumbs’ were falling to bits and wasn’t fried/cooked at all! , it came in 10 mins which proves how rushed this meal was, the chips were wet through and vile. waste of money, wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy!

To say that I live quite far away, I was extremely happy to receive not only great quality food but for it to also be delievered earlier than the original time set. The chicken was lovely and the pizza was very flavourful and the chicken on the pizza had a good spice!

I had a pepperoni pizza, which was too thin, when I picked the slice up everything fell off. My boyfriend ordered a kebab which he said was very dry and hard for him to swallow. Me and my boyfriend are very disappointed in this service.
