Nº 42 in 545 in Cheltenham

Didn't look too appealing but too lazy to move out of Hotel. Thank God - otherwise may have missed this treat. Since that 1st night of our 1st trip (2010) we have come back at least once per visit.

Forty5 is hidden away in the outskirts of Cheltenham but by far the best restaurant I have eaten in. The food was perfection, cooked by the very talented Gareth who came to talk us through his menu. The restaurant is in peaceful surroundings, and was lovely and quiet, for those of us who like to chat while we eat. Cocktails in the bar beforehand were also delightful. Highly recommended!

Excellent food, tremendous service, great atmosphere and ambiance and just a little bit different. It’s a ‘must’ for anyone that enjoys Asian food. Can’t wait until next time! Thank you

Recommended by family. Initially looked quite small in arrival but realised this as an advantage for Sundays. Lovely chilled atmosphere with music, not loud, in background. Had Sunday roast of one lamb/one veggie, both fantastic. Likewise great roasties/veg; had small cauliflower cheese too, actually browned and tasted of cheese ( many places don’t). Will visit again.

Recently visited Cheltenham and popped in to lazy graze for lunch. The lunch was delicious, very tasty and the food was very well presented. Really enjoyed the chilled, friendly atmosphere. The couple that run the shop have very good attention to detail everything is so well presented. The cakes are also to die for especially the lemon drizzle cake. Will definitely come back and would recommend anyone in Cheltenham to visit.

I didn't physically visit this butchers, but a family member purchased goods from here and the quality and taste was amazing. The meat was tasty with literally no fat what so ever. It's a shame they don't open on a Monday or Tuesday as I would have purchased items to bring back to Wales as I was visiting family. The sausages are to die for!!!
