Great place, very comfy rooms..

A great hotel/studio set up. Brilliant attentive service, clean and very modern rooms situated in a beautiful location with easy access to Aberdeen. I'd happily stay again and would recommend it!

Nice enough, room was clean, staff were helpful, breakfast was okay but just felt it was rather overpriced for what it was as we expected something a bit more luxurious tbh. If it had been average priced then I'd have given it a better rating. The description on booking.com stated that a bathrobe and slippers were provided- they were not, although I asked at reception and the member of staff very kindly provided us with bathrobes (and I picked up some slippers while shopping, as if I'd have known they weren't provided I would have packed my own!). There was a kettle but no coffee machine, and I've been to much cheaper hotels which do provide this. The shower was a bit weak too. Breakfast was okay, free from options are provided, but although i always carry my own, we couldn't see a hand sanitiser station anywhere which should really be a standard thing at a buffet many people are touching tongs etc at! Small jars of jam, marmalade etc many of which were finished (we came at the middle, not near the end of service) rather than individual servings- which I'd honestly have preferred especially given the lack of hand sanitiser! I know a lot of this sounds nit picky but given the price we paid and comparing it to others at similar or cheaper price points, it was slightly disappointing for the high price.

The hotel is actually fine. Everything is perfect. But their neighbours are terrible room on the 11 side ! There is so much noise between 12-4 you can’t sleept. They are throwing around metal pipes and other stuff. I tried to call the police and the reception in the middle of the night but it did not help.

Good facilities, helpful staff but atrocious access by car and very hard to find. It is almost impossible to access by car without getting traffic fine for using a bus lane. Google maps takes you through a bus lane. I recommend that you stay somewhere else..

I did not feel safe at this hotel due to the lock system. The heating could not be turned off and they did offer to move me, but I was out of energy to do so, so that is totally on me. Room was comfy just didnt feel right for me. Breakfast was nothing special. Location is great and service very friendly and available for questions. Just a shame about the room.

Lovely set up staff location all perfect

Scotland is beautiful and highly recommend it. We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel and loved it. Hotel staff went of their way to meet our needs. Drew was especially helpful and kind. We had booked a 1 bedroom suite. Our kids are now grown and both are 6’+. After the 1st night we requested a bigger bed for the kids. The hotel was very kind to change our reservation from 1 bedroom suite to 2 queen rooms attached. We are looking forward to visiting again and this will definitely be our hotel of choice.

Do not stay here. Parking is 10 minutes away.

I love the services everybody was super nice and attentive with my needs, I enjoy staying on this hotel I will stay again if I have the chance!! Super recommended

Had an excellent stay for 4 nights. Rooms were modern and comfortable and adequately stocked. Easy walking distance to the city center but may not be a positive for some with the rather lifeless union street and its interesting characters. Plenty of dining options nearby and the breakfast in the morning had a good spread. Staff were very hospitable and warm. The gym though small was still decent as it has 2 treadmills, a elliptical, a recumbent bike and some free weights. We enjoyed the free parking and washer/dryer but note that the washing machines don't have any locking mechanisms so someone could cancel the washing or dying cycle before it ends. The room came with a stocked kitchenette which is handy. Only drawback is that the carpark was hard to find and if its raining, you would need to walk through the rain about 150m to the hotel entrance. If you are driving from the airport, google maps would take you to Broad Street which is on the opposite side of the carpark entrance on Flourmill Lane and you risk getting fined if you go through the bus zone. Instead you should enter "Tony Macaoni Aberdeen" on Marischal Square at Upperkirkgate, then turn left into flourmill and the carpark entrance is on the left behind metal shutters. You'd need to call the hotel in advance to request for the pin code which changes daily.

The hotel is located in the city center. The room is tidy and contains a small kitchen. The hotel’s breakfast buffet is simple and we can order eggs. There is limited car parking space and should be reserved in advance.

Great staff Clean comfortable accommodation in great position

Took our papa here for a wee bday getaway and have to say the best hotel I have stayed in and have stayed in many and can’t find any negative for this hotel with clean and spacious rooms with all needed for a break away and the staff are friendly, very helpful and nothing is too much a bother for you the complimentary breakfast was enough to start your day off

I’d say the best hotel choice in Aberdeen, as in the more expensive options probably aren’t worth the difference. If booked at the right time, this property can be great value. Modern and comfortable rooms are the most important thing for me and I was happy that the room was exactly what I expected from the photos online. Probably some wear and tear needing attention such as minor paintwork but the overall fit and finish is of a great level for this price point. The issues I had were noise and temperature. I was trying to sleep in but was hearing nearby room doors opening and closing. Soundproofing wasn’t enough to prevent me hearing even minimal noise like a hoover being moved next door. Not a dealbreaker for me but then again the next door guests weren’t noisy during my stay. Housekeeping opened the door to come in the morning of the day I was checking out. Never had this happen at any hotel before so not sure if there’s some miscommunication between housekeeping and front desk. Duvet must have been a winter one being used year round because it was uncomfortably hot for me in summer. Tried using cool AC to compensate but just ended up being half cold half warm. Overall a great hard product but probably a few smaller things for management to look at improving.

Favourite hotel to stay in due to location on aberdeen city centre. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby.

Be careful when you bring your car, this google map location is on a bus lane, I’ve got fine a couple of times due to passing by bus lane at Broad Street, couldn’t believe it

I had a great stay at the Aberdeen Residence Inn by Marriott. The rooms were clean and well-equipped. The staff was very welcoming and professional. I would recommend the place to everyone!

Stayed here a couple of times with my partner. Gorgeous rooms, very well kept hotel in a convenient location as well! Shower amenities smelt lovely which was an added bonus! Beds are incredibly comfy (which my 11 hour sleep I had tells me so!). Very convenient location if you're visiting Aberdeen as it's close to Union Street and the shopping centers. Definitely go for breakfast when you book your room and get a good feed from an amazing variety of hot breakfast foods and continental style foods! Likely will be staying here a majority of the time whenever visiting Aberdeen. Staff are absolutely lovely as well, very professional and nothing was too much for them!

I just spoke to and met the most lovely kind staff member named Omar Mekawy. I honestly was so so so happy with his polite manner and service and quick responses of my questions and he was able to book one of the best rooms for me and leave complimentary drinks and chocolates as we request along with early check in and a late check out too and he was able to sort this out for us (as it was our anniversary) He was able to provide this for me so quickly along with his polite sweet manner. We had a great room with a lovely View! I hope Omar’s amazing service and sweet gesture gets noticed and rewarded! 11 out of 10 for him. Thank you so much Omar and thank you to the whole team!! Everyone was so polite and amazing too!! I had an amazing time with my partner!! You feel so welcome and at home as well. And you guys made it one to remember for sure!! :)
