Really cute place and the waitress was lovely. Only criticism is that courgettes do not belong on an avo on toast. I was very hungover maybe a non hungover me would appreciate a courgette however it kept giving me the evils on the plate but the avo on toast was good (minus the wet courgette)

I went here for brunch and the food was really good, super impressed with the quality of the food the French toast was perfectly cooked, balanced and generously topped and the Eggs Residential was very good too, the coffee is tasty and everything is super thoughtfully presented. Fully recommend this place for breakfasts or brunches, and I’m sure everything else is held to standards.

I can’t believe I’ve lived in headingley so long and only came here for the first time this week. The lunch was lovely and tasty, the falafel salad was fresh and crispy without being dry which was great. The eggs on the avocado toast were perfect!! 2 for 12 cocktails all day!!

We came for a quick breakfast after running errands in Headingley. We thought we’d give this place a try despite being initially put off by the “instagrammy” decor/exterior which usually tells me the food might be rubbish and overpriced, but we were pleasantly surprised! We both had full English breakfasts and a couple of coffees - mine was a chai latte and my husband’s a flat white. Both very nice, and one of the nicer chai lattes I’ve had. The breakfasts were just under £14 each, a reasonable portion for the price but the quality was very good. Poached eggs were perfect, hash browns really fresh, and the sausage was delicious. Just a bit disappointed that for £14 you only get one sausage and only a teeny little bit of toast. Bacon was a little under for my liking but in the restaurant’s defence I didn’t ask for it to be crispy. Staff were very friendly and attentive, and the place was busy but not heaving so we were served and paid up in about 45 minutes or so. Would definitely visit again if we were around, but probably wouldn’t go out of my way to visit specifically for the food. Though I would like to try their huevos rancheros. For £35 all in it was reasonably good value, just the portion size being a little disappointing.

Dined here a few times. The cooked breakfast is nice but I’ve also had the meatball sandwich and banana bread. They were both were pretty cold and the banana bread was really dry. Is a shame because the service and atmosphere is really nice.

Went for a a couple of drinks with my friends after dinner at Kuala Lumpar Cafe. Apparently we were too drunk to get served. It was a strange and unwelcoming experience. Top points for a really unusual interaction. We nipped next door for a drink instead….before heading home to our kids. Altogether a bit bizarre.

Absolutely brilliant. I have to say, the salad was really to be admired. Enjoyed myself tucking into 3 portions of your salad and was pleasantly treated to some of the finest salad I’ve ever had the pleasure of consuming. Not usually an onion fan to be completely transparent but my perspective on them has now changed post visit. Great establishment, would recommend highly.

Absolutely lovely family visit to Residence today, the food and service were excellent, we were served by Emily who was extremely friendly and courteous, she answered any questions we had about the menu and was very knowledgeable, we were delighted with the service she provided. All of the staff were very hospitable. The restaurant has a warm , vibrant atmosphere, altogether a great experience. Thank you for making our visit special.

We went at lunch time on a Saturday - there were 6 of us so we had booked - the table was ready, the food delicious - we all had ciabatta sandwiches - and the waiting staff very friendly. Thank you

Blooming marvelllous. We went for brekfast. Food was superb and as hard as it was to achieve, bettered by the service which was excellent even though it was a busy Sunday morning. Harry was really attentive and looked after us and the kids.

Best full English I’ve tasted in a long while

This is a top teir brunch spot. Their full English is excellent and their french toast is to die for!!!

Not impressed . Food very quick to the table. Ordered a full English breakfast . Mushrooms were old / off & tasted awful could not eat them. I did mention it to the staff they said they would mention it to the chef . I think too pricey for the quality of food . Very disappointed.

Got two english breakfasts and two smoothies takeaway. Breakfast arrived with no butter for toast (bread was very dry and chewy) and only one straw for the smoothie. Food was decent, good sized portions but definitely not worth the £50 spent.

Keep meaning to leave a review every time I’m in here but always forget. Genuinely such a lovely brunch/breakfast spot with a range of options. The coffee is so nice me and my friends even go in for takeaway coffee rather than the nearby chains. As well as the delicious food, the service is also great, I don’t know her name but the blonde lady with glasses is especially lovely! And if brunch isnt for you they also do cocktails on the evening, all round great restaurant :)

Me and my work colleagues came in for the Bottomless brunch and we had a great time. Our server Grace was the best, made sure our drinks were never empty and our food was perfect. 5/5 would recommend to anyone!

The food was outstanding but the service was not good. We had been in for 40 minutes and the waitress asked us if we wanted our bill four times. Old friends catching up after months of not seeing each other. We ordered 60 pounds worth of food and drinks and were willing to order more, if we could just have a bit longer to relax after eating instead of being rushed from the table

Wow !!! Everything about Reidence is amazing. The food and drink are outstanding, the ambience is great, the staff are professional , efficient, and friendly, and we felt really looked after and safe. We would thoroughly recommend Residence to anyone going to Headingly

Went here on a lunch date with a friend. We had avo toast and a chicken sandwich which were both okay. The thing that let it down was the service. A blonde woman in particular was very rude, rushing us to leave and clearing the table as my friend was still eating. The way she spoke to us was very condescending but we didn't want any drama to ruin our day but we wouldn't return. Coffees were very overpriced also, much better places to go around Headingley.

Took my parents here and the breakfast was amazing and the service was great ! will be coming back !

We visited Residence Headingley for Sunday brunch yesterday and it is by far our favourite place to go! Lili served us and she was excellent, really friendly & attentive. We all devoured our full englishes (one veggie) accompanied by very good iced coffee! Also extremely dog friendly! The Leeds Marathon was one but Emma managed the chaos like a pro! We love it there!

Came here midday and it was just absolutely lovely. Staff are lovely, food was delicious, wasn’t waiting long to get seated or to get our food. Good tunes too.
