Reroll Board Games Cafe in Leicester

10/10 for nostalgic vibes, went here after work with a few colleagues. The drink I had was nice, we didn’t order food but service and staff were friendly. Its only £2.50 per hour and you don’t realise how quick time goes by and it is definitely good for ice breakers and light hearted competitiveness.

Great place with a fantastic atmosphere and wide range of games. They do great parties, and a bunch of weekly events. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the games. Ksenia deserves a raise!

It was our first time visiting, as we were heading there to look for MTG cards, mainly Jumpstart or Commander decks. Unfortunately, they were out of stock, but the staff let us know they’d be getting more in on Friday with the new Aetherdrift set. That said, they were really helpful and pointed us towards other places where we might find some cards. Since we wanted something to play with that day, they even offered to let us use their starter sets if we couldn’t find what we needed elsewhere. After checking out a few other shops and finally getting what we were after, we headed back to Reroll for some food. The staff were brilliant, really welcoming and supportive, especially since we’re new to MTG. They told us about their upcoming events, let us use their in shop owned mats, and served up some amazing food. The Kinder Bueno shake was fantastic!!! While we played, they encouraged us to ask any questions about MTG and were more than happy to help. We were the only customers at the time, probably because we arrived quite early, but it’s clear the place is well set up. I can only imagine how great the atmosphere must be during events or when it’s busier. Definitely a spot worth checking out!

Really great board game café with a huge selection of games and lots of space to play. The staff were super friendly and we were able to stay for a few hours going through lots of different games! Also bonus points to the decor and atmosphere because going through a wardrobe to a room decorated with game boards and Azul tiles on the ceiling was amazing!!!

I visited ReRoll last week, not really knowing what to expect. What a place! Whether you're a board game n00b, a veteran or just want a place to nerd out with your favourite game, this is the place to be. Really welcoming and cozy community atmosphere. The kind of place you could stay for hours. Well done!

We had such a wonderful time at ReRoll. We spent a number of hours on Saturday afternoon playing 4 or 5 different games. The staff were all so kind and friendly, and the food is just what you need for a games session - the bagels especially were excellent. I left feeling so relaxed and happy - I would highly recommend visiting to anyone, it’s the perfect place to spend good quality time with your family and friends.

This is an excellent community, really helped me make some friends when I moved to Leicester. ❤️

Awesome place, friendly and great food and drink. Great games selection and events. Mixed ages and really chill. Downside is it’s not accessible to wheelchair users as it’s up narrow upstairs.

Great Atmosphere, Food selection is limited (to mostly tasty bagels) but lush, Drinks selection was fabulous, Table service in a board game cafe was novel and unparalleled! Gender neutral toilets. There are stairs, and it can be quite loud on a busy Saturday.

I'm glad places like this exist. It was nice to see people gathering together and having a good time, sharing the joy of playing a game together in a cozy environment with a drink. We were honestly surprised how quick time flew by. You pay £2pp per hour to be there. There's plenty of games to choose from. Staff was friendly and attentive. At the end when you pay you get an opportunity to have it all free if you manage to roll all the dices to the same number.. Such a nice touch, playing games up until the end!

Amazing place to grab a drink and play some games. All the staff are super friendly, attentive and happy to help with choosing a game and getting started. Lovely atmosphere and well priced for everything that is on offer. Some of the games that you can play at a table are also available to buy and take home, which is also a nice touch.

A superb venue that is not only welcoming to all but is a testament to the culmination of hobbyist communities in and around the Leicestershire area. Always worth a visit!

Love this place... Thoroughly enjoy my time here and have made numerous visits. Food is great, milkshakes are awesome, staff friendly and get the right balance between asking if need anything but also leaving you to enjoy yourself. Work can get in the way, but hoping to make this a regular place to go to chill out and enjoy myself.

Fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always happy to suggest a good game or good/drink. Food is simple but good. Cocktail menu is fantastic, with happy hour from 5-7. Super inclusive atmosphere - everyone feels welcomed. Fantastic place, whether bringing your own games or using ones from the shop!

An absolutely massive thank you to Sam and everyone working on Wednesday night, it was my graduation ceremony that day and I couldn't think of a better place to celebrate than one of my favourite cafés. Thanks soooo much to Sam for sorting out a table and moving things around for me and my family, and the incredible service and friendliness that's always a constant when I come to ReRoll. We had a bit of a mishap with the booking, but Sam wasted no time in moving tables, helping people relocate, to accommodate myself and my family. He went above and beyond, as did the rest of the staff, and you'll be pleased to know this is the quality of service you get at ReRoll everyday. Thank you for helping make an incredible night, and for helping me celebrate my graduation - it's safe to say my family also fell in love with ReRoll!! 🧡

Amazing staff that really know their board games, with a welcoming atmosphere and light bites to enjoy around a VAST array of games. Very approachable and eager to ensure you find something that suits your play level.

Complete spur of the moment decision to go here - definitely the right one. Played a great game that I’d never played before pit of a MASSIVE library fit for all ages and abilities. Bagels were delicious, and there was lovely iced tea. Will definitely visit next time we are in the area. Would recommend.

An absolute gem in the heart of Leicester, ReRoll is a first-class choice for your board gaming needs. I don't visit Leicester often, but after seeing how friendly the staff are and how lovely the sense of community in this place is, that might change! Strongly recommend.

I was in Leicester for the first time meeting up with friends and after a visit to spoons, we wandered around and came across the sign outside for ReRoll. We headed up the steps and having never been there before, we asked "So how does this work?". The lovely staff talked us through that it's £2 for an hour and your fourth hour is free! You can pick any of the games on the white shelves and just have a good play. We were a group of 6 that walked in without a reservation and they were more than happy to accommodate us. We were guided to a table by a lovely bearded gentleman and he suggested an easy starting game to get things rolling, Herd Mentality. We were given menus where they have a good selection, vegan and vegetarian included. I had the kinder Bueno milkshake and it was delicious, I highly recommend it! Over the games we played, we had a good back and forth with the staff and friendly interactions during our stay. I had to leave early to catch a train but I only wish I was more local than Nottingham as I'd definitely be a frequent visitor! Don't pass up this place for a visit with friends and some delicious drinks.

A great board game store with two floors of ample space and a wide variety of board game options. You can reserve a seat by making a reservation in advance, and the time arrangement is also convenient. Just make sure your friends will show up on time🙄 There was no meal this time, everyone ordered beer. The beer was served very quickly, the waiter was humorous and cheerful, and made people feel very comfortable.

Lovely place! Sam was very friendly and helpful in recommending board games. It was also very good value for money. I've been to a few board game cafes before and I'd say this one is the best! We had food as well and the bagels were delicious. Would definitely recommend :)

Easily the best boardgame cafe we've been to, we didn't try the food but service and atmosphere were excellent.

Best place to play great games. There is a lot of choice to play with and also for drinks and eating. The bagels are very good as well as the drinks, especially the milkshakes. Every time we went there the service was exceptional with very welcoming, helpful and friendly people. When we have friends visiting we are always sure to bring them there for a great evening.

Visited for the first time to play a Blood Bowl tournament with friends. This is a brilliant games café, the staff are friendly, helpful and seem to take joy in what they do. Delicious bagels and coffee as well. Will be back again for sure

It's the first time I've been to this board game café in Leicester and was very impressed! You pay per person per hour, during which you get access to a very large and varied library of board games. They have a menu serving a good variety of hot drinks, milkshakes, pizzas and bagels (including good vegetarian options), cocktails and spirits, all at a very reasonable price. For my four hour stay, with two milkshakes and a very tasty spicy paneer bagel it was only £18! Would highly recommend and will be sure to return soon.

Always such a fun time whenever we come here. The team that work here are incredibly friendly when it comes to food and drink orders, or game selection and set up, they really make reroll what it is! The food and drinks are great, especially milkshakes and bagels (also gluten free!). So many great games to pick from, and to top it off, it's dog friendly!

First time there today after passing it the other day , very chilled atmosphere and they helped us feel welcome . I'm not the biggest user of board games but they have something for everyone at every level . Highly recommend

Great spot for card and board games, staff are friendly and play great music! I normally attend the store once every few months, since the store has opened some staff members are able to remember me by name which creates a great experience and enjoyable conversation, I've gone to the store to play card games which offers plenty of space, and also board games with a wide selection and staff recommended games (especially Muffin Time) Have left me and my friends with great memories.

The cafe is run by really friendly and knowledgeable staff who are more than happy to help with anything you need and help select the perfect game to play. The game selection is brilliant and consists of high quality and well-looked after games. You can also buy games there for very reasonable prices as well as MtG, Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Great choices of dice to buy for role playing games. Loyalty card is great and you are able to get a few rewards from it. Can't wait to come back.

I've been in a couple times now and always treated by such friendly staff who are more than happy to show you around and provide game recommendations. On top of that the food far exceeded my expectations and I will certainly be coming back to have their bagels again!

Felt at home since my first visit. The staff here are friendly and great to talk to. The prices on merch and table costs are very reasonable, making it a high-quality LGS. The food and drink options far exceed what I expected at a gaming cafe. Being able to play MTG with a Sprite malibu and a well-made pizza bagel is unbeatable. Unlike some game stores, it feels like this one has more than enough space for everyone. Highly recommend.

What a great way to spend a few hours! There were groups, couples & families during our visit. There are also tournaments and events for particular games, like Magic and chess. Brilliant service - huge kudos to the team for making an inclusive, friendly place. Loved little touches like hygiene products in the loos and pronouns on staff name badges. Highly recommend the biscoff bagel :)

If this is a totally new concept for you, don't worry, they have a good selection of games you'll recognise and friendly staff ready to show you your next favourite. And if you are a veteran of many games nights, then you have a wealth of high quality titles to choose from. It's a little of the beaten path, tucked away upstairs on Granby Street, but well worth looking out for. The menu offers a compact variety of bagels and cakes, as well as drinks, to sustain you through even the most epic game of Monopoly or Terraforming Mars. (Plus, if you roll a Yahtzee, you get it for free!) Keep up with ReRoll's social medias to find out what's on, about events and specific evenings. I'm looking forward to my next visit, and getting my loyalty card stamped.

This is a little gem of a café. Even if you're not a gamer, there are tasty things to eat and drink, including lots of vegan options. The milkshake and cocktail I had were delicious and everyone in my party enjoyed their food and drink. There's a great selection of games and the staff are helpful if you're stuck about what to play. The variety of different rooms and spaces mean it's easy to find the right atmosphere for your group - from big to intimate, noisy to serious. I was really very impressed and only sad I hadn't found ReRoll sooner. Can't wait to be back soon.

Great place for an afternoon or night out with friends. Free wifi and 2 toilets for customers. Location is a little hidden, small door that leads right up to a double story location (could be a 3rd, I haven't ventured that far). Great selection of board games, Tapestry, Odin's Ravens, Bunny Kingdom, and Dice Forge (to name a few of the 400 or so games). Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Lighting is very good. Nutella bagel is a must have for any diehard sugar fans. Prices are reasonable, they even let you try to roll a yahtzee for a free bill! Again, Great place highly recommend you check it out. There is a cheap-ish car park near by on Queen street near the Athena theater? (less than a 10 minute walk)

Staff are absolutely great. Owner is super helpful, friendly and nice. Awesome selection of board games spanning 2 walls. They also sell cards and accessories too which is a bonus! The decor is amazing and overall vibe is just really nice. Love coming here with friends. Prices are also some of the best too. Only gripe is food options are a bit limited - perfect if you love bagels but not so much if you don’t.

Where do I begin? Myself and three others came in this afternoon shortly after opening, one of us had been there before but the rest of us hadn't. We'll we were greeted warmly by the folks behind the counter, who took us to our table, clearly explained the rules and regs regarding the board games and how it all worked and even better, if we got stuck then they would be on hand to help explain what was going on if we were stuck! The pizza bagel was delicious and the warm chocolate brownie with ice cream was a true delight. Atmosphere 5* Food 5* Service 5* People come here and enjoy yourselves!

Met up with a friend here and it was great. Yes some might think the food and drink were bit pricey but they didn't charge for table so the hours of fun we had was just the cost of a standard meal really. Would definitely go again

Have come here a few times now and every time have had a great experience, staff are friendly and helpful, the food is really good, I personally recommend the desi dragon bagel.They have an extensive selection of board games to choose from and also run events throughout the week.

Brilliant staff, very knowledgeable and helpful. Plenty of snacks. One or two of us are board game fans, the rest of our largish table were more interested in a different way to have a few drinks. Luckily, everyone was catered for. Also very good value for money considering the quality and range of games available. Support your local businesses, they keep the community vibrant.

A gem tucked away in Leicester. First time I'd been in a board game cafe but it won't be the last. The host greeted us and showed us around while explaining how things worked. He even gave some wise advice on playing a great card game sushi go! The food looked amazing as did the coffees my friends ordered. For a city centre place the prices were reasonable as well. A fun place to take a break or stay for hours.

A fantastic board game café with a lot of inclusive options (vegan friendly which was great for my lactose intolerant friend). A great space for playing games with friends. Coffee is good, which is not always guaranteed for board game café's. I am yet to have a bad time there and I've visited on numerous occasions, could not recommend enough.

Such a brilliant place! Two huge shelves full of different types of games to play. Knowledgeable staff who can help you pick games, based on what type you like to play. They can even help you with the rules of a game. We played Ransom Notes, Colour Brain and Tell Me... All were great games! You pay per hour per person to have a table, then settle your bill at the end. You get to roll 5 dice before you pay up and if you get a yahtzee (5 dice all the same number) then your bill is free, such a great idea! They also offer a loyalty card, which I will definitely be using. (can't comment on the food as I didn't have any but will try done next time I go back)

Great drinks, great bagels, great atmosphere. My first time in ReRoll was running a game for a friend's hen do, and it was all in all a great time to be had. All the staff were really friendly and, frankly, it was good to be in the company of countless other nerds.

We played: Ransom words - great for cards against humanity fans Colour brain - a quick card game How weird - another similar to cards against humanity Payday - a classic from our childhood Tell me - a fun word game (we made our own rules up!) Staff were lovely and friendly, drinks great, atmosphere was good and not overcrowded!

This is a great place to meet with friends and play board/card games. Love the atmosphere of the place. Staff are polite and chatty. Food and drink are themed. Based on the second floor with stairs. Two unisex clean toilets. Parking not available outside. Has a happy hour with 2 4 1 cocktails.

Went for the 1st time with my young son. We asked for advice as to which game the assistant would recommend. He did recommend one but could've asked us questions on likes and dislikes to make a better recommendation as what he recommended we didn't enjoy. They could be more proactive in explaining rules to the games as it can take time to read and understand when starting a new game. Cake was moist and tasty and reasonably priced. Would return but would research which games we would like to play before coming.

The staff are wonderfully friendly, and so are the customers I've bumped into while attending various gaming sessions.

Fantastic boardgame cafe with a great varied menu,wide selection of games of which we enjoyed playing Wingspan and superb friendly staff. We will absolutely be coming back!
