Regency Pizza in Hambleton

Put an order in on Saturday evening. 12 quid for a pizza, drink, and garlic Over 35 minutes after ordering they phone me up saying I need to pay an additional £2.49 delivery. No detail that I can find on the site stating this would be the delivery cost. Nothing on email receipt about additional delivery cost. Refused to pay it in the end and cancelled the order. You can't just phone up people half an hour after ordering saying you're going to charge the customer a bit extra. Get your website sorted and make it clear up front the total cost.

So we have not ordered from here before! Chicken kebab was so dry pitta bread was like a brick food was cold! Orders at 6pm got it just before 8pm why? No apologies for being late! £58 down the drain! Also why is bolognese in the donner calzone! Not happy with the device at all or the food the price is ridiculously over priced

Ordered from them on a Saturday night, 17:00. Put the order through their website and as soon as I paid they rang me and told me the order was going to take 1 hour and 45 minutes to be delivered. Absolutely ridiculous. They charge more than any other pizza place in Northallerton and I have no idea why. If you can't deliver quickly then what is the point? Sort it out Regency you absolute shockers! I ordered the same order from another place in Northallerton and not only was it £10 cheaper, it arrived in 30 mins and was fantastic. Just avoid this place. Plenty of great places available. Edit: So Regency has decided to comment on my review. Firstly, I wasn't given the option of collecting my order, I was informed that it would be 1 hour and 45 minutes. If I was told I could collect it in much less time I would have. I hope your calls are recorded because you've lost a sale right there. Secondly, your inability to meet orders due to getting a lot of orders through is your problem, not mine. A good business model would be to ensure that this doesn't impact your customers. 1 hour and 45 minutes wouldn't be acceptable anywhere, not in a restaurant, not with a takeaway, not anywhere.

Slowest fast food restaurant known to man. If you want to have withered away and died before you receive your food this is the place to eat!! ☠️

Ordered here tonight and was not all that happy, hot and spicy parmo, with extra garlic butter and spicy chicken, now there was no spicy chicken, and all tho the flavours where nice, the chicken where soft and mushy in places and tough in others, also the chips where uneddible, as they where to airy and crispy with nothing in them, and the random couple of curly fries.

The worse kebab I have ever had,awful dry chicken and tasteless salad nice chilly sauce would not recommend

The pizzas are nice and the cheese burger was ok but the actual burger was a lot smaller then the bum it's self.

Whilst the pizzas were lovely, the chips this evening were absolutely disgusting! Down to 3* unfortunately.

I used to work here twenty years ago and it seems to have maintained standards of food in my opinion, while developing new products like curly fries. Garlic (mayo) dip is a must and never bettered anywhere else so far! Used to have a flame grill but I guess they couldn't cope with the faff...

Not aloud in the shop to order and wear dirty face masks when cooking food. Very over the top only came in because I needed to pay with my phone. You just lost permanent custom from me. Romeo pizz is nicer by a clear mile

Wish I could post a picture along with this. Asked for a little bit of ketchup with my chips, wrapped them up and when I got home they looked more like sweet and sour sauce and chips then anything eles. Couldn't eat them. The chips were burnt too. Wouldn't recommend .

Excellent Pizza. Great value and very tasty. Called in without pre-ordering and the staff were so friendly and the pizza was made so quick. Our 10inch margarita was only £5.99 what a bargain. Whenever our kids visit family in the area they want to visit.

Please send the guy that answers the phone in your Bedale store on a customer care course. He is absolutely dreadful!!! He makes you feel like you are inconveniencing him by ordering a pizza. Bedale is our closest branch but I now travel to Northallerton to avoid him.

Too easy to order via the app when I cant be bothered to cook!!! Pizza always hot and tasty and the best thing is every time you order you get points so my last pizzas only cost a few pounds.

We are regulars due to the only takeaway to deliver. They are very inconsistent in quality. Last 2 orders have taken over 2 hours to arrive. Poor service and poor quality. No more orders from us.

Made an order online with hours of notice. Spent over £30 and received a cold kebab wrap and a burnt parmo with very crispy cheese. Being in lockdown self-isolation I couldn’t return it and they never offered a refund or a partial refund, daylight robbery has left a bitter taste in my mouth .

Pizzas always great, good amount of toppings and good service

Waited 20 mins fof a chicken pizza, got into the car to discover it was lukewarm at best. Went straight back in and they offered to warm it up! Wont be going back here EVER again

We ordered on a Saturday night but still didn't expect to have to wait 2 hours 30 minutes for 3 kebab wraps which were cold and chips which looked warmed up, and then the garlic bread which they forgot what was supposed to be getting delivered with the next delivery and were still waiting for it so please do not order from here as there is better takeaways in northallerton

Really poor service to be honest! Placed the order online well within the count down timer you also have on the website.... branch rang me up to say they don’t deliver past 10 after you already took my money. I’d suggest you alter your opening times etc on the website, Facebook, google etc! Because it’s all wrong. Sad to see another review on here from the Northallerton branch also where a guy had the same experience as me only to be told you don’t delivery past 10.30 😂 make your mind up. Fellow business owner myself. I’d suggest you make some changes so you don’t loose anymore custom.

Tonight we had a regency take out, a treat for my sons birthday or was meant to be. We got delivery S weather was bad. He said would be up to an hour like usual but normally arrives before, after an hour I tried three times before speaking to anyone one of which they hung up. He then says it’s just leaving now will be ten min. The man on the phone wasnt very professional at all in fact I’d say rude! No apology for taking so long or anything so food finally arrives again the man who brought it was very rude no manners when by this time I waited 1 hour and 20 mins if I hadn’t been so hungry would have told him to keep it! Regency is deffo most expensive in town, the food tonight was nearly cold, the Parma was tough and felt like old meat, burger was chucked in box any old way absolute disgrace!! Then still charge way too much with not even a smile never mind an apology!! Standards here completely changed and the males working tonight terrible!

Always had kebabs and pizza elsewhere but decided to give these guys a go, never ordering anywhere else , can't fault the food and the chilli sauce is best so far highly recommended

I've had really mixed experiences over the past few years. Sometimes they nail it, but more often, recently I've had slighly overcooked pizza's/burnt pepperoni, bechemel-heavy parmos and topping/modification to orders completely missed (this is on at least six occasions, I've counted!). Used to be the best around..

Bareface liers! No delivery after 10.30 closes at 11. Could not care less when I told them those weren't the times advertised! Could not care less! Awful customer service! Others in the area are glad to trade to their opening hours!

Never again will I ever order from Regency Pizza my first time and the nachos were not good and the garlic bread that I got with meatballs on with so greasy and the kebab wrap well let's not go there I'm sorry to say but that was awful and I spent 20 pounds on my order you give me a refund from a naturals but the rest there is no words for it

Absolutely awful!! We haven’t visited this place since around October 2018 as it wasn’t very good then, but for convenience we thought we would try it again. We ordered our food and waited 30 mins for it to be cooked. We got it home and the order was totally wrong so we rang up and complained. We live 15-20 mins away from the shop so we asked them to deliver the right order and they said yes. After waiting another hour and a half it finally arrived. Cold and soggy. I had a chicken burger and inside was something brown which ran all the way through (see pictures) . My husband had a kebab wrap and the kebab was all hard like it was “old” kebab. To top it off when I rang to complain they told me I would have to pay again for the order I originally wanted next time I go.... well... I’m not going back at all!!!

Simple order. Two large kebabs one with chili sauce, one with garlic. Got order home. Two large kebabs. Two garlic sauce. Can't even get a simple order right. Ruined my meal

Ordered a mixed kebab to find what should have been lovely shaved streaks of kebab and got shredded little scraggy bits instead, the salad had the roots left on the cabbage, over cooked and covered in grease. What was once a great takeaway is now getting beat by a pot noodle and a Mars bar. Company is a joke.

The meal was absolutely amazing, definitely would come here again.

This is the best place for a takeaway Pizza by far! It has been well over 5 years since I've had a pizza from Regency and always cooked perfectly and quickly to order. I had the plain traditional Ham; Pineapple and mushroom (Arbarella) with a garlic bread. Nothing beats them even though I've lived in Cumbria for many years and over to Northallerton for the weekend.

Been in about half an hour ago. Ordered 2 chicken kebabs and a 10 inch pollo pizza. The pizza was not even edible for my daughter, absolutely lathered with pure garlic all over it. Have taken pictures. Disgusting doesn't come close!!

Nice food, really needs to master parmo then will get 5 stars

Worst Donner Kebab I've ever had. Meat overcooked and dog eared. Salad past its best, not much to say really, apart from I won't be back ! Avoid it at all costs.

Used to order from here last year then went onto a new favourite. Thinking we hadn't had a recency thought would give them another go! Kebab and chips. Vile! Grease was running out the box. Chips clearly been overcooked or cooked few times as hard and very oily to the point that there was no potato taste whatsoever. Gone very downhill. Dissapointing. Will stick to our new favourite in future.

There was a problem with my order that I picked up so rang to change, I brought back my order and they replaced it with what I wanted. So grateful that they alloys this and remade food fresh in front of me. Staff were very friendly about the situation. Go near enough every week and food is fab!

Have used regency pizza to order food the last 3 times I have ordered take and to be honest the service is absolute rubbish the first time we ordered they said food would. E 45 mins which is standard delivery time fair enough an hour passed and still no food so phoned shop and they gave it the usual chat that your food is just leaving shop fair enough can live with that only if it was true I could have walked from there shop in the time my food arrived an hour and 45 mins after ordered it and when used them again it was exactly the same and tonight when ordered at 430 which is just opening time my order came and it was the wrong order I could understand if it was a busy time but they had just opened so there should be no excuses for getting the order wrong at this time of night and I can say this that I will never ever use this joke shop of a pizza shop ever again they think cod they have been around the longest that customer care is a little priority now u need to sort your shops out cos they are all the same have had the same trouble with your shop in thirsk RUBBISH !!!!!

Placed an order to be delivered for all the family. The majority of Parmesan was stuck to lid, must have been carrying upside down. It was Luke warm. Popcorn chicken, over cooked (burnt). Portion of chips also cold, chips were not great, looked scabby, asked for a can of Coke, did not get charged for but wasn't on the order. Tried to ring back to complain couldn't get through. Came in half an hour after being told 40-60 minutes but I think it must have been waiting to be delivered for most of that time! Really disappointed, left most of it.

Food was disgusting ordered chicken wrap told them no sauce they put cheese on chicken wasn't cooked , the chicken kebab was the same uncooked advertised with chips didn't get these and tasted awful shot it in the bin wouldn't even give my dog it , cost £12.50 aswell not happy

Food is really good. Unfortunately they got our delivery order wrong. Didn't complain though as I didn't want to wait another half hour for the right one, still tasted nice but was definitely not a BBQ chicken

Ordered from here for a change we ordered cheesy chips , kids pizza and a Mexican Parmo was really looking forward to it.When it arrived the delivery guy wasn't all that polite so we took food and left it at that the Mexican Parmo has to be the worse parmo I've had in a long time the chicken base was hard and over cooked it looked like it has just been thrown on top of all the chips so they were soggy from all the white sauce and cheese it just wasnt very nice at all for the money paid

I live 3 miles from this take away and have ordered from them before for delivery but was told tonight it was too far despite wanting 3 pizzas and extras....your loss.....I'll go elsewhere in future.

Just paid £14.00 for a 12'' margarita thin and crispy pizza, a pot of coleslaw and a cheesecake. I can honestly say that this was on par with my worst ever takeaway (the other also been from Regency Leeming Bar, although this was a year or so ago). The pizza was undercooked, the cheesecake was still frozen and I didn't even open the coleslaw to see what that was like. I have a photo of the pizza and cheesecake. From now on I'll travel to Pizza Express in Northallerton where there is a bit of pride and care going into the food prepared. Awful

Ordered 4 Chicken Shawarmas which are new on the menu. They were cold, the pitta bread was soggy, stale and fell apart before I even picked it up. My son's came with a complimentary long black hair....very generous of you shows your hygeine standards are way up there on your customer care list. Really dissatisfied and will probably never eat food from there again. If you are looking to lose weight then eat here...you will probably get diarrhoea.

Regency serves amazing pizzas. The selection is huge, the prices are great and the staff are super-friendly!

Visitamos esta noche para tomar una pizza para mi madre y yo después de una larga tarde visitando un pariente enferma en el hospital. El lugar estaba a tope pero me dio la bienvenida al bajar por una amable señora luego sirve inmediatamente por un muy educado y alegre hombre y tienen una enorme menú con buenos precios (estoy desde el sur por lo que fue barato! ). Un montón de ofertas especiales a precios razonables y sus kebabs parecía demasiado riquísimo!

Great choices. Great pizzas. Always good quality. Never had a problem at all. Would deffo recommend and will certainly be returning.

worst parmo ever i will be not recommending to anyone, shame really as they seem to act like the best. poor quality chicken that was reformed and not chicken breast like every other take away. save your money for a good meal. Although i did get a quick reply i will post the out come.
