Owner is rude, blocks car in with her Porsche doesn’t apologise , just saunters out in her own time, cakes are stale

Staff very friendly. Great range of items. The best pie is the chilli jam pork pie.

I usually only buy their delicious pork pies, oh and a cake or two, but this morning decided to get a bacon and sausage barm too. I'm so glad I did, it was absolutely delicious, it's set me up for the day. Looks like I'll be having the pork pie and Cake (s) for my tea tonight, also just like to add how lovely the two members of staff were, we had a good laugh, 26/4/22 10am ish. I'll be back soon. Great traditional bakery selling hot and cold pies, cakes and buns and freshly made sandwiches. I had a pork, apple and stuffing pie, A steak-in-ale pie and a chicken curry pie. They were all delicious.

I was looking for a decent pork pie since titersons in the wythenshawe market closed I have tried all sorts of shops to get one, But couldn’t then I was off work for a day and we visited edgley and just called in when I seen the pies in the window bought one said I would be back if it was nice. I have been going now most weeks for the pies and I buy them for family when they ask. Must say even better than titersons. YOU HAVE TO GO EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.

Although it still calls itself a butchers, its main trade these days seems to be doing takeaway sandwiches and hot food (the latter to mid afternoon). I particularly like their pork and... Pies, usually either pork and black pudding, or pork and cheese and pickle.

The nicest food, I've ever bought. Honestly, the sandwiches, hot meals, to dessert. I don't think I've, ever been so loyal to one place, I could be in the other side of Stockport, and will still travel to here. The staff, the service, and the food is just 👌 Already waiting for Monday Morning, breakfast.

Freshly prepared hot and cold sandwiches, aswell as pies and cakes. Friendly welcome from all staff. Always busy at lunchtime, but worth the wait

The best sandwich shop in edgeley. Good range of meat sandwiches with a good choice of salad. Hot and cold pies also available with a variety of choice from steak to curried chicken. Hot specials also available along with cooked breakfasts. Cakes also available and ate amazing. The lemon bun stuffed with fresh cream is amazing. Shop is always busy so be prepared to wait.

A tale of two halves. Stunningly good food and tasty sandwiches, but sadly the speed of service (despite them having lots of staff in) is agonisingly slow. I can't count the amount of time I've had to get back to work and leave the queue after waiting for nearly 25 minutes with only 3 people in front of me - and this was before covid. Such a shame, as they could probably double their profits if the serving / cooking was better organised.

5 star food. 0 stars for speed, I get it that it's 2 in the shop at a time but this is seriously slow service with people out in the cold, please manage it better omg
