Visited Aberavon today, a great experience. The game against Llandovery was exceptional. The result went against Aberavon 24-21 but it was a great game to watch. There were 6 old farts visiting from Swindon RFC, the young guy who served us was excellent. He remembered our round which was impressive!

Great pub and great crowd. Cold weather outside, but lovely and warm in the pub.

Called in here for a quick drink. Prices were very good, however the place is in need of a make-over especially the toilets.

Played with the band at the Red Lion. Great venue filled with lovely people and helpful staff. Beer was good too 👌

How this place has a 4.4 rating I'll never know. The lady serving us was friendly enough, but ordered 2 pints of Guinness and got told we only have cans. Went to the toilet and the whole wall was a collage of bogies, which is quiet revolting.

I had only just opened the door to enter the pub to watch the football when I was met by a very rude member of staff. I could see that the pub had a number of people sat there with full pints and watching the football when I was met by a rude lady, who shut the door on my face and said ‘we are closing now’. There was no need for it. If she had just been polite and said ‘sorry we are closing now/shortly’ then I would have totally understood but instead she just shut the door on my face while speaking to me with a vile attitude. No need for it at all, was only trying to support a local business.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience here today, the staff were so helpful and polite, I was with my 8 week old baby and they offered me shelter to feed my baby and made me feel very comfortable to breast feed which is rare these days. We will definitely be coming back here again, lovely atmosphere and staff.
