A stunning find down near the estuary. Andrew and Jenny have developed it into a quick bite cafe but with delicious homemade soup, bread, sausage rolls, pasties and fantastic cakes, waffles and ice cream. The blue vanilla Ravenglass social ice cream with chocolate and honeycomb is to die for. What’s not to like. Go there and tuck in….you won’t be disappointed.

A wonderful little gem. Fantastic ice cream and great snacks. We all really enjoyed our brunch, the pork pies were particularly good, as were the sticky buns. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, the only problem was resisting the temptation of over eating.

Tastes their wares first at a music festival in muncaster Castle, it appears they also run a shop there called the nose bag in the courtyard. Delicious!! Good range of flavours, some I'd never heard of like sea buckthorn and dragon fruit. The staff were lovely and chatty, very helpful and generous with their portions. At the festival sight they also did hotdogs and waffles, so a food all rounder. They also do pastries, sweet and savoury in their shop by the river esk on ravenglass front They are down a little alleyway to the left of the Pennington hotel. You can sit outside in the lovely quaint courtyard with a coffee and sweet pastry for £4. An absolute bargain. Everything made locally, always a winner You get a little jar of chutney with the pork pie. A lovely little extra. 💕

We have been many times for the all day breakfast, it is very good and great value for money. Well done to Sam for working hard to keep a small village pub open.

Lovely friendly family run business. The cakes are exceptional, so much so we asked them to bake one for our Nieces 18th and it did not disappoint. You can go to Costa Coffee and pay much more for a
