Rangoli is the best. Without Rangoli food our weekend doesn't feel like a weekend. Their service is excellent, food is yummy. We never disappointed. Love their starters, all the curry dishes and biryanis. They deliver food on time. If you don't eat spicy just request, they will make it accordingly.

This was such a great find while we were on holiday. I was delighted to find proper indian food. Particularly, the onion bhajis were fresh and tasty, and the chicken biryani was the best I've had in a very long time in the UK. Would highly recommend it!

The food at Rangoli was superb. Indian takeaway can be hit or miss, often finding dry meat and tasteless food. From the onion bhajis and lamb samosas to the king prawn curry and lamb pasanda, there was flavour after flavour. The food really was delicious and tasted authentic (not that I would know, never been to India), it is rare to find Pasanda on the menu however, and it did not disappoint. The lamb was soft and not dry, the bhajis were not soggy and lacking flavour but they were crispy and I could taste every spice used. Although pricey, it surely was worth it. Also, it was the best Chapathi I have had in a long time, so so delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back.

After a close-by takeaway was closed, I dropped in here for the first time in years. As I hadn't ordered by phone, and all food is prepared fresh, I had to wait about 30 minutes. But well worth it! My lamb Jalfrezi was the best I'd ever had by a good margin. I'm told the chicken Balti was equally scrumptious. Pakoras were great (I recommend vegetable), pilau rice plentiful, and garlic naan large and tasty. The best!

Was £19 for a chicken korma boiled rice and two chapattis. The chicken was clearly cooked yesterday as it was hard and only six small pieces. The sauce was runny to say the least the only reason I force fed myself this alleged meal was out of hunger 👎

Chilli garlic chicken was more like you would get from a Chinese. Quite sticky and little sauce. Not a good choice with a naan bread.

Since we live in Banchory, we’ve ordered numerous times from Rangoli as the food is extremely flavourful and authentic. As an Indian I’ve come across numerous so called ‘Indian restaurants/takeaways’ that do not deliver authentic Indian food. Rangoli is a class apart and I’m glad I can order their meals whenever I want. My favourite meal is the lamb biryani that I had the privilege of trying and I must say it is one of the best biryanis I’ve had in a very long time! The biryani was beautifully flavoured and the lamb was really tender. It’s very hard to come across authentic, traditional biryanis around the Deen and I’ve not been overly impressed with what’s offered in any of the restaurants/takeaways. Rangoli is an exception. Anyone who enjoys authentic Indian food should do yourselves a favour and try out the meals available in this gem of a takeaway. You won’t be disappointed!

Was sent the wrong naan bread with our order. Curries had very little chicken in them, korma having 5 small chunks and the bhuna had what looked like a small amount of leftover strips from a roast chicken. Basically paid for mediocre tubs of sauce, the korma tasted like it was made with a jar of sharwoods sauce from the supermarket. Chicken pakoras were good. Pretty disappointed overall.

Great takeaway, best I've had in Aberdeen city or shire. Get your order in! The service is responsive, staff are friendly, and they do a fantastic job. The chilli garlic paneer , and Gobi Manchurian starters are both excellent.

This is such an absolute gem of a place. The welcome we received on arrival was lovely and we were shown to The Willows room which was extremely well appointed. It has a beautiful feature shower and lovely views out of the windows. The whisky room is a must for pre-dinner drinks with subtle lighting and a flying pig!! The food is extremely good. Tasty, beautifully presented and great choices. Breakfast was just as good as dinner. I hope we'll return soon and I would absolutely recommend a stay here as a couple or with friends as we did.

Stayed in one of the top rooms. Cozy comfy room. Gorgeous bathroom and large tub. The bed was very very uncomfortable. Seemed like a very old mattress, hard and we could feel the springs. Makes enjoying the day harder with back pain and being tired from little sleep :( Breakfast was very good, as was dinner. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Would stay again in a heartbeat if the bed got an upgrade or a mattress topper.

Lovely wee spot, food was enjoyed very much but the portions were so small we couldn't believe our eyes..we thought prices were reasonable until we realised there was barely any food in the plates..we also ordered quite a lot of wine thinking we'd be able to match it with the amount of food and it was a bit disappointing. Must admit we left the restaurant and went to get a burger to fill up our bellies! I still recommend this place as the food was really tasty, service was great and the staff very friendly!
