The food is their restaurant iwas not good. Both my friend and I had severe stomach issues Poor quality in spite of being advised as the best of 2018. We had pasta and it was more like a soup with so heavy sauce which was drawing the pasta. To my experience. It was the worse meal I even had and I traveled in Ukraine, the Emirate, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic,, France, the USA. Bad and will never go back there to eat.

I hate saying this, but we were really disappointed. Staff were ok, and the place is looking really tired. Just not what it used to be like.

Food average. Service was poor. I waited ages. I told a member of staff i had been waiting ages. The member of staff went away and i never seen them again. I finally got my order taken. the food dinner was just average. Got a desert. It was frozen in the middle. I complained at the end. the guy said i should have complained at the time. Will defo not be back. They need to up their game. Too many good restaurants in the area to be complacient.

Had Sunday carvery two weeks ago. Table service for starters and dessert but service was great. Queue and choose for main course - plenty on offer and staff very helpful. Really good value for money. Definitely recommend but book if possible.

We have eaten here many times in the past and loved the place. We went a night in November and will never be back. From the starter to the main course was terrible. It was the worst meal that my wife and myself have been served up in a long time. It appears as if the chef and the owners have changed, for the worse. Stay away, but please go if you want school dinner type meals

Clean tidy and well presented. Good value for money. Room was fine although there was a leak with the shower screen which I reported. Breakfast was good although there wasn't any orange left. Good location also.

I booked a table for 4 adults and 5 kids at 6pm last Saturday having had a personal referral to this restaurant by a friend. We arrived some 20 minutes early but were shown straight to our table which had been reserved. The restaurant was fairly busy for a Saturday tea time but certainly not excessively so. Menu was quite varied covering rump steak, wraps and chicken dishes with the usual children's menu. The wait from start to finish was acceptable. I went for the chicken fillet with chilli noodles and garlic fries while my wife opted for the chilli steak/pasta. Noodles were tasteless and a bit of a 'slop' and my wife's became sickening after several mouthfulls. Apart from this, overall it was of an acceptable standard. Staff were 'there', not much of a personal touch but again acceptable. Value for money? Yes £70 for 9 with jugs of orange. It was OK!

We called here Sunday evening after a lovely day out in portrush. We have stayed in the hotel on two previous occasions when the food and service was excellent. There were 5 adults and 4 children, including a 5 month old baby, in our party. We were shown to our table and then sat for around ten minutes before I had to ask someone to bring us menus. We then had to wait another 15 - 20 minutes before having to ask for someone to take our order. It felt like they'd just forgotten us. Kids getting more and more restless. When food finally came it was of a reasonable standard but portions on the mean side. I ordered an extra side order at this time but this unsurprisingly never came. On paying the bill, which guess what we had to get up to go and ask for, I advised the young staff member that the side order did not arrive. She removed it from the bill without apology. I then said that I would not be leaving a tip as the service was so poor; she shrugged her shoulders and said she would 'pass it on', although it was clear from her attitude ( she continued to process items on the till as I spoke) that she would not. I told her I believed she would not to which she nonchalantly said you can see a manager if you like. To which I said no thanks I've wasted enough time here. To coin a Northern Ireland phrase ' the dead lice were dropping off her'. Overall it's such a shame this used to be a great place to eat as a family but we will definitely not be back.

Portrush as a town was great however I have never come across a more badly mannered staff in all my travels. On New Years day, we woke up and went down for breakfast before we showered and checked out. After breakfast we returned to our room to shower and pack. Staff members continuously harrassed us for 30 minutes telling us to leave the room, the manager then insisted that we pay a £30 penalty for being late. When we argued our case, the manager started getting very aggressive and tried to manipulate all our words which put us in a very uncomfortable position. When I questionned the managers decision, I was accused of personalising my argument directly at the manager and she spoke to us in a very threatening tone. We also had a second incident in the bar where a staff member grabbed my money without quoting the amount, without using the words of please or thank you, and slammed our change on the counter. When we had the confrontation with the manager about the first incident, I also mentioned this. The manager in a very unprofessional manner then tried to identify the staff member in front of us, with a view to confronting him in front of the customer!!! This again put us in an embarrassing situation. Overall I would say that the owners should look hard at their management and training structures within this organisation!!! Certainly not something you would expect from the hospitality sector!!!!! Alan

My wife had Indian kababs with garlic fries followed by a Rocky Road bun...all for under £25. I would certainly return hrre again.

We have stayed in the Ramada twice this year and have made a further two bookings. There is nothing to complain about in this hotel, staff are excellent , as was our rooms anything we asked for was attended to straight away. A residents menu was available which we really enjoyed, their breakfast are excellent with a super choice, we had no trouble with parking , can't wait to return.

We recently took a group of 34 to the Ramada for a meal as part of a residential. I contacted the hotel in advance and one of the managers, Joanne, could not have been more helpful or accommodating. She sent us a set 2 course menu and then was more than happy to allow us to adapt it slightly to our needs. On the morning that we arrived in Portrush we decided to call in for coffee and the staff were very pleasant & the service was great (despite such a big group just landing in on them ;)). Before we left after coffee Joanne had been over to introduce herself and offered us the use of the residents lounge for the day, should we wish to shelter from the rain, or just have somewhere to relax. This was such a kind gesture and, while we didn't take advantage of it (we just had so many things to squeeze in to the day thus very little time for relaxing) the offer was very much appreciated. When we arrived for our evening meal again the staff were so pleasant. The dinner service was very efficient (it is so often the case with bigger parties that the food comes out so slowly that some of the party are finished before the whole table has been served - not in this case) and the food itself was lovely. We had brought 2 birthday cakes with us and there was no problem with these being brought out by staff after the meal. I'm not sure of the names of the staff who served us but on behalf of all of us at CAN Base we would like to say a massive thanks to them, and to Joanne, for helping to make our residential such a success. Thank you so much for everything and we will definitely be back! :)

A delightful meal with exemplary service and hospitality experienced for our Branch AGM and Annual Dinner at The Ramada Portrush Antrim Suite. The room was an ideal location for the AGM and for the dinner. Staff were attentive and very professional in the duties. The food was delightful, quickly served and vegetables and were served nice and hot to compliment. Puddings were delightful. :-)

Hotel does what it says on the tin. Clean, modern, comfortable, with friendly attentitive staff. Stayed for 2 nights in a triple room which was large and clean. Hotel slap bang in the middle of Portrush and so everything is easily accessible by foot. Hotel has a small car park which we managed to get a space on day 1, but not so lucky on the 2nd day, however there was plenty of free street parking available. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of hot and cold items. Only reason for the 4 rather than 5 star rating is the price of drinks at the bar which seemed over inflated. We didnt eat here other than breakfast but did see a number of people eating, and the food looked very good for the price. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Me and mum were up in Antrim for the day, and didn’t know where to get dinner. I am so glad we got the advice of Arcade Chippy. The food was delicious, and so reasonably priced too. Next time we are up that way, we will definitely be back.
