Raka in Tower Hamlets

Absolutely AWFUL! Rang to complain about the poor quality food and they hung up twice! Ended up ringing just eat who were helpful and refunded us. Would never ever use that takeaway again. Arrogant staff and disgusting food that no one would want to eat.

I would prefer the kebab less chopped but food was good

Left out half of our order, replaces all the wings with nuggets without telling us

not only did my food arrive over 45 minutes late, it was stone cold! When I said I didn’t want it as it was not edible it was cold the man just stood there laughing at me. Shouldn’t have rised to him but I did start shouting as how discussed I was that he found it so funny. He also turned up in a cab. Took photos of him & the man in the cab along with license plate & made a complaint to just eat as they would not reimburse me

Chicken wings were pink and undercooked. You could see red liquid which I presume is blood coming from the meat. Absolutely absymal and disgusting. I will never order from this place again.

The chicken was so overcooked yet actually cold so not a great sign. The fries were also cold. The only edible part was the chicken nuggets meal as I assume that was cooked fresh.

The idea to serve a wrap instead of a bun was perfect. Much easier to handle the food and much cleaner. Keep it as it is better. Thanks.

Este lugar de un vistazo es claramente MUY antihigiénico. ¡Después de pedir fichas en mi camino a casa las abrí para encontrar una mosca muerta! ! ! Las mesas del interior están cubiertas de grasa y el personal es extremadamente grosero. No hace falta decir que no comeré aquí de nuevo.

Bueno, puede ser inconsistente con este sitio, en particular de algunos de los platos se cocina india tradicional que la mayoría de la gente será utilizado para y algunos (el masala paneer fue uno) será super conectados a con azúcar, la que vino con el chutney samosa también fue surcado por azúcar.Es que no son muy precisos en Deliveroo y no está claro cuando pida "samosa obtendrá una samosa o dos. . . Estaba claramente dos por porción, que era sólo descubrimos a la llegada.Distribución estaba bien de fin de la entrega. El bombay aloo era agradable, el pakoras no gusto de nada, pero no eran de fina, así que estaba agradecido que por lo menos! !Debido a la falta de claridad en el sitio que probablemente no pedir de nuevo. . . El Masala de paneer era como un postre y nos fuimos en la papelera.

Raka me recuerda a un casa de terror. El lugar de la apariencia de que es claramente muy antihigiénicos. Después de pedir patatas fritas en mi casa los abrí para encontrar una mosca muerta y una sal y vuela? No hace falta decir que ellos arrojaron lejos. . .

The driver called me 3 times and I guided him still he couldn't find my address and due to that the food came cold also the food was given some instruction like well done kebab and did not come like that. The driver kept on blaming me as he couldn't find my address. I will never order from them it was my first time and will be my last time.

Service was appalling. I placed a pre-order at 5.30pm to be delivered by 6.15. Food didn't arrive till 7pm. I rang restaurant twice. They didn't seem to care. Food was ok. But the £2 fee for delivery was outrageous.

I would never order from this place it is nasty the food is off i ordered chicken and chips and a burger and it was all nasty I promise you this restaurant should not be open

We ordered twice in the last month. Good food, good kebabs and good burgers. Lovely sauces accompany the food. The delivery service is great, well worth a good tip.

We have used them twice before but we had a curry. We was very impressed we decided to have a kebab. The food was hot, very nice and the chips were also very nice. This is only the 3rd time we have used them and every time the food has been perfect and delivery on time. Their prices are also very good. Definitely be a regular customer.

Waited over an hour for cold soggy food! Was not worthwhile.

Will not order again from them! Chips were not done properly. Wings were old and fried too much. Burgers did not taste right. Salad was stale and hardly there. Not a good tasting experience.

chips was quite hard and chicen was definitely not fresh, they were hard ad very dry. will not be ordering from here again

Met up with old work friends to sample the Sampler menu. Great service, food was totally excellent, and beautifully served. Faultless evening. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely appalling service!!!! I had to wait for over an hour and a half for delivery! When I called the shop, the man was very unhelpful and rude! When the food did arrive, they gave me the WRONG ORDER and the food was cold! at this point my kids ended up going to bed without eating and I'm still fuming!!!! A TOTAL WASTE OF MY MONEY! And all thus on a Monday when it's usually the least busiest day. I wouldn't even give them a quarter of a rating.

When my food arrived it was cold and was not edible. On top of that one of my meals did not come with the meal. I called the shop and they hung up on me twice. I will be requesting for a refund and will never order from this shop again.

Delivered way before estimated time. Burger and donner was nice. Wings were ok but seasoning could've been better. Unfortunately the chips appeared old, not freshly made. The chilli sauce was far too salty. Hence the four star.

i wanted a quick fast meal so i thought i quickly pop to "raka" when i went inside the staff were talking loud and ignoring customers are around.i've realised they got a health & safety fake 5*star rating on the wall from 2014!the place looked very unclean & greasy everwhere.after i ordered my hotwings & chips for takeaway ..it was ready withern few minutes ..the sauce tubs on top of the counter were very greasy on the outside and really crap taste in the inside!when i opened the box afterwards the chips wasnt cooked properley the hotwings were absolutly discusting uncooked inside with red on chicken! i was so hungry but i just had no choice but to throw the meal away!my personal opinion is the Heath & safety officers should go and visit.

Pedir en este restaurante comida para llevar ya que no me apetecia salir fuera. El delivery me tardo lo q me dijeron desde un principio 45 min. Pedi un menu q costaba 7,95£ e incluia biriany, popadoms, pan indio y varias opciones como entrante y mi pareja pidio el plato principal solo q fue biriany (plato tipico indio con pollo, arroz y vegetales). He de decir q las porciones eran enormes, solo con lo q pidio mi pareja comimos los dos y sobro el menu q me abia pedido para mi. La comida estaba deliciosa, en general todo. Sin duda recomiendo q pidais para llevar os lo traen a casa si pides mas de 10£ q seguro q llegas sin problemas y con un menu comeis dos.!!!!Sin duda volvere a pedir comida en este lugar en un futuro proximo!!!

Good food from a local chicken shop. They do not openly accept card! Which is annoying, because if you have no cash and make a fuss, there is a card machine behind the counter! :/ other than that it's all good.

Really good just a can of coke was missing

Delivery was one hour late. When calling the shop, they could not give me an accurate time of delivery. Also, the drinks are advertised as Fanta and Coca Cola, but I received Mirinda and Pepsi. Not impressed.

The foods alright, delivery was almost an hour after the first initially delivery time and they forgot one of my orders :/

The food arrived very late but was hot & well packaged. The Driver was polite as always. We would advise to contact Raka before ordering Especially during busy times like Ramadan & Raka to contact customers if they are running late. The Doner Kebab Meal (59) was as described. Please do try to give the salad separately. The Fish & Chips meal (31) looked okay But the Fish was so overcooked. Please do try to improve the dish, Thanks. We hope Raka make the necessary improvements & continues to do well. All the best, always.

Este es un lugar de comida con asientos que sirve comida india.No es un restaurante!! Tiene pfc tipo de asientos, ahora si no sabes lo que eso significa, el descanso es como local pollo frito silla de plástico rojo tienda y mesas con asientos.La calidad de la comida es inconsistente. El kebab rollos son realmente buenas. Los precios están bien.Bueno para la entrega.El personal es un poco aislada y probablemente no han sido entrevistados antes de contratado.

Delivery was very very late considering we live only few minutes away by car. Arrived after two hours. Apology received due to problem with driver and he dealt with my call professionally and was very nice. Have ordered from here and haven't had any issues for the last eight orders. Food was still slightly warm, eatable and family enjoyed despite being very late. I am still happy to order as its human nature things sometimes go wrong and we still liked the food.

I enjoy there food, but the staff are not professional as you would expect them to be. But i do order from them once in a while online.

The delivery was made on time But we feel that the £2 delivery fee Should be included into the minimum order for delivery. Both kebab meals (58 & 55) were good. The chicken pieces were also good. Once again, we thank Raka for the food & wish them the best always.

Food was cold when arrived 2hrs after I ordered. Nobody tried to call to advise of the delay, poor customer service. Never using them again. NOT RECOMMENDED

This small restaurant offers indian food . One can get other fast food items also from here . Rates are reasonable . walk able distance from East india , Canary warf , Poplar tube stations .

Food was extremely nice. Ordered a variety of meals. Regular customer of Raka. Food is always pleasant. Wings were delicious. Delivered as per estimated time. Keep up the good work guys.

Just old school finger lickin goodness! Yum yum in my tum :) Wings were to die for specially when they suck in all that sauce you give, mmmmmm.

Food was nice. However asked for the burger to be plain, no sauce, no cheese or salad and the burger had all three.... so my daughter didn't eat it. So that was dissapointing. Apart from that was ok.

The time for delivery was 10:20pm But we felt that the driver maybe a little delayed. We were right as he called at 10:27pm to ask for directions due to an error on his tomtom. He was apologetic & we appreciated his efforts So helped him & then went down to collect the food. The only sad thing was that Some of the dishes had become cold. Most of the food was well liked by all, as always. We will definitely continue to order from Raka & hope that next time The driver manages to find us quicker Without using a tomtom :-)

The food arrived on time. The driver was polite & friendly. We were pleased to see that the dishes were clearly numbered on the container, It made our life easier. Most of the food was liked So we will definitely be returning soon. The only advice we would like to give is Please provide salads in a separate container. Thank you :-) .

The order that I placed was at first mixed up with another order - which was fine. Except when the mixup was made known, the correct order still never came through. The sauce or the side order of chicken wings that I ordered was still not given. The chip were also pre-salted when no preference of this was made known.

Order at 1pm never came till 2:15 delivery service is not on time but food is good

Chips was not freshly made, other than that kebab n chicken taste good.

This dining experience has taught me a valuable lesson, ready everything! They also operate an Indian resteraunt from the same location and apear to use the same fryer as the chicken leaces a distinct curry note on the pallet. Perhaps to some tastes but not mine.

I always order from here. Food is great, I have had no issues so far. Delivery time very efficient.

It was very nice, I wish however the Roll aspect had been more specific. I thought of perhaps a wrap style, but it was the very very nice meat in a burger roll! However I enjoyed my meal greatly!
