Raja Tandoori in Renfrewshire

Had a margherita pizza from them and all the cheese was uncooked and the pizza it self was all burnt.. had guest over and kids never enjoyed their pizza party.. never coming back again

First ever indian restaurant in paisley, used to come here in the very early 70s wi ma maw to get my old man his Friday night vindaloo. I still come 50 odd years later for the same thing. Still very good quality.

disgusting place have rats running around the premises they touch the food with their hands they dont wear gloves and the food makes you sick they should pay you for trying their food dont go here unless you want food poisoned

We got a 16 inch pizza which was acceptable, we did order hot and spicy which wasn’t spicy at all but edible , where as on the other hand the durum wrap meal was an absolute joke, the wrap it self was disgusting and inedible made me feel sick, super soggy and just falling apart all over the place

Went here tonight for german donner as it advertises on there menu they do german donner.....well they don't and the staff were pretty rude to be honest..and extremely unhelpful as they don't even know what I was talking about

I order last night mix Doner kebab they send me only Doner full off oily fat I try to call them lots time nobody answer my call very poor quality of food waist my money never order again here

Food is exceptional. We have tried several different donners and this is by far the best, tastiest and freshest in paisley. Bar none. The homemade falafel is delicious too! Support this restaurant!

Korma was tasteless rice was dry and it looked like after a night out and you have been sick same with the cheese naan bread

Placed order in an online delivery app. Restaurant accepted it and the did not deliver. They even had the audacity to update the delivery time in the app and then didn't deliver to that either. 0 out of 10 - do not recommend ordering if you're hungry.

We usually get Raja’s delivered to the house and omg the hoagies are good! You definitely get what you pay for and they are open very late, I’m sure we’ve had a hoagie delivery at 2am! Arrives really warm and tastes great! I also love that on Just Eat you save up loyalty points!

had some german doner kebabs around scotland but this place is amazing , kebabs are massive plenty meat in it first time i was struggling to eat it all ! so tasty we had 1 donner meat and 1 chicken both were great ! well done

Shocking experience ordered pizzas for a kids party and they arrived an hour late despite pre ordering when the shop opened to be delivered at 5pm and tthey arrived at 6pm. Staff in shop no clue about customer service either ! Pizzas less than average for the level or hassle !

This place is my go-to Indian place for their curries/naan breads. Amazing Donner Kebabs. My favourite is their chicken burger meal.

I did order 18-15 to scheduled pick up. I wanted to pick up 18:45. 18:20 i got notification that my order is ready to be pick up. I arrived 40 and my order was sitting top of the oven. They said they just made it but they lied as it was not fresh and suppose to arrive 45 sooooo…. The taste of the chips was disgusting they did not change the oil for a long time. You can taste it its very old oil . Soo sad

Lovely food but delivery time needs to improve. I stay a 2 min drive and it took over an hour. Kebab wasn’t so warm.

We got the set meal for two tonight, such a great selection of curries, Chicken Tikka tandoori masala was excellent, very rich flavourful and a good heat, I say this as I have somewhat lost my taste and smell, so this meal was great, the tikka was melt in the mouth tenderness. For a Monday evening this is great quality and fresh food, I appreciate the liberal amount of fresh coriander on top as well. Naan bread was great, full of ghee as it should be, the complimentary poppadoms and spiced onion was a nice addition wasn't expecting that. Really fantastic portion size of meat as well. I will be a regular when visiting Paisley this was the best curry I have enjoyed in ages, thank you!

While the food all tasted great, it arrived lukewarm - not hot at all. This takes away from the quality, unfortunately.

They always forget any form of salad even when it’s included on the menu listing, ordered from here a few times and everything else is great but always a bit disappointed when it’s not as described

Food was delayed and probably the reason why when it arrived it was cold. We had missing drinks, missing food and missing sauces. This was a gamble on the place that was 100% loss on top of a £5 delivery charge.

Great food and service. Having made a mistake I phoned the restaurant and the gentleman that answered couldn't have been more helpful. I've found Raja German doner will go the extra mile to provide good service. Definitely the best restaurant in Paisley.

Really nice kebab with freshly cooked tandoori chicken , loads of salad and nice chilli sauce. Cheesy chips were amazing and the staff were very friendly. Met some nice locals there and had a good chat whilst waiting for my food to cook. Was starving and did a quick Google Maps search and the reviews were spot on.... Definitely a 10/10 and will definitely come back next time I'm working in the area 👍🏻

Ordered pizza deal 2 night for 4 of us 16 inch pizza chicken pakora additional chips and cheese which were £4 the chicken pakora had 4 pieces in the container chips and a sprinkle of cheese, ive seem more put on a mouse trap in Tom and gerry,

Owner was a aggressive with a woman in the shop and threatened to slap her husband. He was incredibly rude to staff, with one member being visible upset.

2nd time I’ve preferred from here and 2nd time they have over and hours wait, last time food arrived cold and this time it was warmish. This time food was good very tasty.

This order did not go well. This order was an hour and fifteen minutes late. In total it took 2 hours and 25 minutes for my order to be delivered from when the order was placed. That's not acceptable. It was cold. Wait, I'll be fair. Some of it, was lukewarm, but most of it was cold. The fries were undercooked. The "Melted Cheese" they charged me a pound for, was just a tub of shredded mozzarella. The "Raja German Donner" that costs 8 quid was missing the mushrooms and peppers entirely and had very little Feta cheese in it. And the Lahmacun had a sauce that was different from what I was expecting, but I'm going to consider that one as most likely my mistake. I'm guessing I misunderstood the options. The Jalapeno Bites were good though. Now for the Donner. I will say this to be as fair as I possibly can. That food arrived cold. No matter how good your food may or may not be, having our food arrive cold is going to negatively affect how we feel about our meal. I'm sorry, but that's the truth. We ordered hot food and received cold food. I can't say the food was good, even the Donner based dishes. But we did our best and I'm going to review it as fairly as I can. With that said, Raja's German Doner, is actually really good Donner. No seriously, the Donner is delicious. It's beautifully very thinly cut, giving it a really nice delicatessen quality to it and it was very nicely seasoned. It was really nice quality Donner. If our food had arrived on time and it was hot, I think we would have enjoyed our food a lot better. But that was not the experience we had. I honestly don't know if we will ever come back. Maybe I'll try again on a day you're not as busy, but then, this was our very first experience with your restaurant and it went very poorly. We're happy to recognize and point out that we thought the quality of the Donner itself was really good, but that doesn't change the fact the quality of the meal and the service as a whole was bad.

The delivery time really lets this place down sometimes. Just under 2 hours from placing my order until it arrived - Simply unacceptable. Food wasn't its usual amazing standard as it has been with my previous orders. I haven't given up on this restaurant just yet but another bad experience like last night and I wont be back. ⭐⭐☹️

More great food from Raja German doner. Love their falafel burger definitely one of the best burgers in Paisley. Food was a little late but I put that down to traffic. I'd also like to thank the delivery driver for his patience and politeness as I didn't answer the door immediately and it must have put him a little behind.

Had a very sincere apology from the delivery driver as food was ordered hours prior for 20:00 but the food was really decent so would not hesitate to order again
