I had a fantastic experience at Raj Kitchen! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt welcome. The ambiance was cozy and perfect for a relaxed meal. Highly recommend trying the Chicken 65! Will definitely be coming back.

Probably the worse indian meal we have ever had. It was total slop. No taste to it at all. Everything was returned and not one waiter asked why we did not eat it. Service was dreadful, no attention to customer needs at all. Also, the place could do with a deep clean, the wo.ens toilets are atrocious.

Terrible Experience – Too expensive.. If I could give Raj Kitchen zero stars, I would. We had a reservation for 9.00 PM for our smooth dinner but what we got instead was a complete disaster. Despite placing a simple order—just two types of curries and naan—the staff made us wait over an hour and a half. they brushed us off, saying it would be 2-3 min more When the food finally arrived after 11.00 PM, one of our friends got the wrong meal. but at that point, he was too hungry to complain. To make matters worse, the food was awful—one curry was watery and test wise rubbish.. At the end of the meal, when they asked for feedback, we were honest about our disappointment with both the wait time and the quality of the food. We politely asked if they would offer any form of compensation, but instead of handling the situation professionally, they became aggressive. One of the waiters even swore at us, and when one of our friends swore back in frustration, the owner himself lost control. This place is an absolute joke—horrible service, inedible food, and an owner who seems to think verbally abusing and threatening customers is normal behavior. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place unless you want to be treated like garbage. In sort I'm not going there in furute abd even not recommende any other person or anyone else.

We went Raj kitchen on easter sunday their manager was very rudely he said you have to pay minimum 15£ per person it is totally wrong in hospitality. One of the FOH team member he said i am manager he doesn’t look like manager than said i am manager so talk with me but we are not happy to go there and I would suggest to everyone don’t go there! The FOH team member who look like horrible, doesn’t have any manners how to talk with coustmer and there original manager he have sem attitude and no manners as well I would like to give you no star for this horrible restaurant.

Being an srilankan ,took my family to the restaurant called raj , what an amazing experience , seriously it is not an Michelin star but quite close to a top notch one While sitting we have been made clear that it is at least £15 per head spend ,which is quite realistic , seriously good food and good hospitality starting to the manager to the owner Keep up the good work Will be visiting soon

Absolutely loved our visit to The Raj Kitchen in Swansea! The food was nothing short of amazing and the service truly top-notch — second to none. We tried a few dishes and each one was a hit: • Chicken MOMO – perfectly steamed, juicy and packed with flavour. Excellent! • Chicken 65 – crispy, spicy, and full of authentic South Indian flair. Excellent! • Lamb Biryani – hands down one of the best we’ve had. Fragrant, tender lamb, and every bite was super delicious. The team made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in, and the overall experience was outstanding. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend The Raj Kitchen to anyone looking for fantastic Indian food in Swansea!

The food at Raj Kitchen Hotel was absolutely delicious! We especially loved the Chicken 65 — it was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. It was so good that we personally met Chef Nidhin to compliment him for his amazing cooking. The ambiance was also very pleasant, and the place was clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend this spot for a tasty and satisfying meal!

Lovely visit to Rajs. A lovely warm and inviting atmosphere. Food was delicious, so tasty and full of traditional indian spices! Best I have had in a long time. You cant beat the selection of beers on tap. Great location and facilities, if you wanted to go out for afterwards.

The buffet is ok the guy on the till wearing a white apron was rude tho. the nan was super crispy. They did give a fresh Nan after asking. The buffet had variety of options. The people who serve food are kind but the guy on the front at the till was mean to me. Told me something in his language I could not understand. But the food is good. Hopefully the man will realise that he shouldn’t talk to women in a rude way.

Took my mam for Mother's Day lunch, this place is beautiful, staff attentive, friendly and can't do enough for you. Now to the food, buffet style all you can eat yesterday, all food was piping hot, replenished constantly and absolutely delicious, a firm favourite was the lamb rogan josh, onion bhaji was delightful too, we tried everything on the buffet and I can confirm everything was mouth watering. A lady in front of me with a child was dishing up and a waiter came and offered to get some chips for the little girl which shows how aware and attentive they are in this restaurant. The place was filled with customers of all ages enjoying plentiful, delicious, authentic food. Bill was also more than reasonable for 3 diners with drinks. I wish this business every success....we will be back next week for sure!

This is an amazing Indian restaurant. The ambience, staff, food, cocktails were all top class. Anyone looking for an authentic good indian restaurant, this is the place to go. We have been here twice as a group of few ladies and would want to go back again to their Indian street food meal times during the day as I have heard that's quite popular too. This is our (me and my partner) go-to-spot for Indian food in Swansea. Love the flavours, presentation and service, the main chef is very hospitable. Good food for good prices. The restaurant also won the best Wales Chef of the Year at ARTAs!! Ps. Must try biryani.

Atmosphere and the service is fantastic. But the taste of food is not meets the expectations. Very overrated reviews for food. That keralan chettinad chicken curry is not at all taste like a chicken curry !!! Also Biriyani taste like some normal rice . But the kolkata pani puri was good and the staff were very nice .

An authentic experience - had a lamb and chicken dish both perfectly cooked with complex and rich flavours. Had a pina colada and mojito cocktails which were expertly made professionally and well priced (under £7) - came from Burry Port to try this restaurant after it was recommended to us. Raj tended to our order - he is also the head chef and owner - a man who obviously knows what he’s doing!

Amazing food! Waited for around 70 minutes for the food, but it was definitely worth the wait!! Very apologetic about the delay. The restaurant was heaving, a sure sign of popularity. Prices were very reasonable. Fantastic atmosphere. Restaurant was very clean. Will definitely go back.

Food at Raj’s is always excellent. It’s a great mix of classic Indian with a twist. My Lamb dish was very tender and the Chicken lollipops are a must, unlike anything I’ve tried before!! Will be back soon as we’ve visited many times.

Every time we asked about our food, they brushed us off, saying it would be “just 2-3 more minutes,” but nothing arrived. Meanwhile, we noticed that other customers who arrived long after us were getting served before us, which was incredibly frustrating. When the food finally arrived after 10:30 PM, one of our friends got the wrong meal, but at that point, he was too hungry to complain. To make matters worse, the food was awful—one curry was watery, and the chicken in the other was rubbery and unpleasant to eat. At the end of the meal, when they asked for feedback, we were honest about our disappointment with both the wait time and the quality of the food. We politely asked if they would offer any form of compensation, but instead of handling the situation professionally, they became aggressive. One of the waiters even swore at us, and when one of our friends swore back in frustration, the owner himself lost control. He became physically aggressive, had to be held back by his own employees, and even threatened to call the police—despite the fact that we had done nothing wrong. Shockingly, the owner himself admitted that he “treats his customers like hell,” and kept shouting at us, insisting we weren’t even his customers. Even when we clarified that we were, in fact, paying, they refused to listen and continued arguing. Other customers in the restaurant backed us up, agreeing that the way we were treated was completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, we have videos clearly showing the owner escalating the situation and becoming physically aggressive with us for absolutely no reason. We have chosen not to attach them here because, despite our terrible experience, we do not want to tarnish his reputation further. However, it’s important for others to know what kind of behavior to expect from this place. This place is an absolute joke—horrible service, inedible food, and an owner who seems to think verbally abusing and threatening customers is normal behavior. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place unless you want to be treated like garbage.

I am very shocked about the high reviews for this place. On Saturday evening we visited here for my friends birthday. Not only did we wait 90 minutes for average food but it all kicked off when a waiter swore at one of us after we complained that he got his order wrong. After waiting for about an hour we asked where the food was and we were told "2 more minutes", all of us were hungry and this was worse as we waited another 30 minutes. You would expect Raj himself to deescalate the situation as he is the manager but he kept trying to antagonise us more. Overall, the wait was too long for the quality of the food and the servers did not help. This is really not the atmosphere that I was expecting on my friends birthday. I have no intention on visiting again.

We had a lovely meal here on Saturday 22 Feb. As someone who grew up and lived in Bradford for a number of years , I know a good curry when I taste one and this was excellent . Service also very good . Have reserved to return in a couple of weeks .

The food was less than mid. Curries arrived very watery and bland. Rice containers weren't full which wasn't the worst thing in the world considering it wasn't really worth eating. The chilli chicken was really nice.. but £40 for a bit of chicken in slightly spiced water isn't worth it.

Been to raj kitchen yesterday for take way... A guy from Kerala welcomed us very well. Ordered chicken 65, Panner 65 and veg biriyani. The taste is very good. We asked for spicy and they gave us spicy. Rather than the food taste, I belive how the customer was treated when visited to particular restaurant, in this thing the guy took first place. Overall food was very nice. I will order Chicken 65 on my next visit again.
