Originally from the area.. but had the pleasure in living in many different countries. Germany, Spain, Cyprus and all over the UK. This is by far my favourite chippy in the world! Not bad for LH!

Decent Fish to many chips for a single person, and that's the small portion ,very fresh and tasty 😋

Food was awful wouldn’t feed it to a starving pig

Got my order for collection home to find items were missing and had to drive back to the chippy! When I got there and told them they’d missed items there was no apology whatsoever. By the time I got home all the food was cold! The hoisin sauce also tasted nothing like normal hoisin sauce, the ribs were tough. Won’t be going here again.

The best Chinese takeaway in my opinion

Got home my food was swimming in grease!! Ordered a spring roll unwrapped it all the batter was stuck to the paper. Salt and pepper chicken was dry absolutely terrible food. Should be shut down if you ask me. Disgusting!!! 🤢

Best beef curry for miles around

Get food from here regularly selecting different things each time from Pudding and Chips to Special Chow Mein. Never had any issues and foods been spot on.

Chinese that makes cracking fish n chips, fish freshly fried when you order, great curry sauce and chilli chips, yum yum. Very good portion size as well.

Just tried this takeaway for the first time and was very happy with the food and service, will be ordering again.

Decent food, never had a bad thing to say about Rainbow house, they consistently deliver on quality and taste. Always our go to take away for Chinese food. Take cash though as no card payment is accepted

Great place for a cheap takeaway, chips are almost always great, gets busy on most nights around teatime, worth it 👍🏻.

Great local chippy, prices have gone up a little but still good value for money. Very friendly staff. Very busy at teatime can preorder but no delivery at present.

Can someone tell me if this is STILL owned by the same guys/gals as 8 years ago? This was THE place to get THE BEST Special Fried Rice, and Special Chow Mein!!! Even Uncle Rodger would say "Fuiyoh"!!! Also, does it do delivery?!!!

I have just had the worst Chinese in all my life. I am utterly shocked at the good reviews. There was no flavour, it was full of grease and the portions were shockingly bad, I rang up to let them know and was met with arrogance and laughter, not what you expect after lining someone's pocket. Never again!

We go to rainbow House quite often as we are local.. The food is always spot on. never found anywhere as nice as here the staff are fab & very friendly... the place to go for good food..x

Beautiful fish, chips and curry at a reasonable price!

Just got fish and peas and the fish had two big bubbles of oil under the batter and the peas were like bullets fish was to oily for me to eat and the peas I could of used as target practice with h a catterpult. I am never eating from there again

The crispy chicken in szechuan sauce was great, although a few would argue that there were too many onions. Only reasoning behind the 3 stars is due to their salt and pepper chips and chicken. Which was the most disappointing thing ordered. By far the worse in the area. That doesn't mean to say I won't be going again to get the main. I'll just pass on the sides.

Delicious fresh food , best fish and chips in neighbourhood too. Sadly is no option to pay by card that's very sad a specially now in covid time .

Rainbow House in Little Hulton (or Wing Hing as it'll always be known to me). Quality chippy, specially the chicken fried rice chips n curry 🤤🤤🤤 Though they are cheeky when they put the price of fish up on Good Friday 🤔

Amazing crispy chilli beef and duck spring rolls.. But Fridays around 6 are.always super busy .

Worst place I have EVER eaten at. Ordered “crispy chilli chicken” with “egg fried rice”. No sauce to begin with, it was made dry and eating rubber would have been easier and had more flavour. The rice was burnt and covered in that much grease it leaked through the foil!

Good quality of food for the price and the staff are pretty polite. The only issue I found that when I ordered the BBQ ribs they were pretty bland. As for the rest of my food it was great as it wasn't swimming in oil like some Chinese takeaways I've ordered from. There's nothing more I hate is that oil at the bottom of the tray when I've had an egg Foo young spoiling the remainder of the food. Just makes it taste terrible.

My husband and i visited this takeaway over a week ago and were very inpressed with the servise of staff and qualty of food, we called in again a week later and got the same service, this is by far the best take away in the area.

Great fish always freshly cooked and good sized. As for the rest of the menu I've never had a dish I didn't enjoy immensely.
