The chippy is the best in the area. It is located just before the bridge as you enter Monton. They are the best chippy in the area. The food is excellent and the service from the people who own and service in the shop is excellent.

The owners are awesome, always friendly and welcoming. Never had a bad meal here either, kebabs are always fresh and tasty and the chips are delicious. Highly recommended.

What can I say this Family run Chip Shop is one of the best I have visited in Manchester, Fish is cooked fresh while you wait and the owners and staff always serve you with a smile, the choice selection is excellent, but I’m sure Mince beef and onion pies will be on the Menu one of these days.

Normally top class product but today all chips were hard even with gravy come here alot and today was not acceptable for price charged if I could walk back with them.on my plate I would but only have pics

Tried for the first time today. Im afraid we are easily pleased but it wasnt good. Fish n Chips Curry. Fish swimming in grease batter just horrible. The chips didnt fair much better, gravy was tasteless, more taste from bisto gravy. Curry sauce was just onions onions and yellowish watery flavour. Donner kebab, was average. Gutted really as id heard good things. May try again in future, but as of Now its a big NO from us Sorry.

Regularly have the fish and chips from here, the fish is always cooked fresh with a nice light batter chips are always good and they always give a good portion

Gonna edit this again too simple say how happy I actually am with this place stopped by on my way home got some chips and gravy and my god again such a large portion and absolutely banging food as always, I would recommend this place to anyone litterly food has and is still beautiful ❤️ ***Im sure I left a review when I posted the picture but here is what I pretty much said on the review*** I had Chicken Pieces and Chips and that was half finished when I took the picture, This place has been by far one of the best Takeaways you can go to, My grandparents was coming here before I was told about it ❤

I'm fussy with my fish n chips being a Yorkshire lad who lived on the Yorkshire coast for a good portion of my life. But I was VERY impressed. Nearly lost a star for not doing scraps though. 😉 Returned a few times now since our first visit. Consistently good. 👍

Brilliant takeaway, a family buisines that’s been there for 30 years, definitely the best kebabs I’ve ever had

2nd visit in 4 days! Popped in as was working down the road. Glad I did 😃 1st visit donner in pitta! Lovely the meat has a lovely char taste and the shredded cabbage mix veg is Bob on. And pickled green chillies MMMmmmmmmm 2nd visit mix on naan! Donner meat exactly as I got 1st time so excellent consistency plus a lovely hint of lemony twang with the chicken. The naan more of a flat bread but it held up excellent and I prefer a lighter bread with a bigger kebab so all in all very satisfying. I will travel here when not working and it’s a good 25min drive when roads quiet. Well done kingfisher chippy you’ve a new fan 👌👍

Hands down, the best chippy in Salford! The chips are proper chippy, the fish batter is light and the curry sauce is next level. The service is great and the staff are super friendly. I would 100% recommend Kingfisher.

Was really looking forward to this fish and chips. Chips were good. The fish batter wasn't crispy at all and was greasy. Felt like the oil wasn't hot enough and it had absorbed all the fat. Overall disappointed.

Always love the Fish 🐠 from here, although they do seem to look like they have been on a diet recently! The choice of small, medium and large should also mean if you are happy spending that little bit more, your get the thick flakes I remember from there! Too hungry to take a picture this time, however, I will next time so keep an eye out Kingfisher xx I'll be back!!

Delicious fresh food and good portion sizes. The donner kebabs are the best I've had, lovely fresh salad and tasty sauces, I always ask for the meat to be well done and this takes it to a new level. Highly recommend this place

used for years very nice take away they put meat on ur burger is nicely priced for a cheap night in the chips are good the fish is good the kebabs are nice staff very very friendly the only critiscm is the parking so thats why iv knocked a star off however u should defiantly visit this take away

I've been using the Kingfisher for years and have always enjoyed the food. The kebabs (chicken or meat) are the best in the area (imho) and the fish and chips are great.
