soggy and cool .Very helpful at the shop when I rang. Said it was delivered 15 mins before it arrived .A £33 ordered. We have had fast delivery previously.

Good little chippy. I like the fusion of things, the sriracha chips are a winner for me and my toddler really enjoys the rice. Reasonable pricing for the area and we chose here over a closer chippy because of this.

This is definitely our "Go-To" place for fish. Tonight the chips did not taste as hot and fresh as usual but the fish made up for that! The portions are so generous and with the addition of the inner wrapping, the fish doesn't get soggy. TY!

I’m afraid I don’t agree with the 5* reviews. I’ve wanted to try this place for a while having seen them on Instagram. But unfortunately I was disappointed with the quality of the food as the reality did not match the expectation from their marketing. Naga burger - this was probably the best thing I tried. However, I don’t understand how it looks so different from the marketing? I did ask for no salad, but the bun was completely different to what I expected. 4/5. Chicken bites - the worst thing I tried. Again, these don’t seem to look like the marketing images… The chicken breast was poor quality and had a watery and fatty texture. I did ask these to be plain.. So maybe there are different ones that taste less processed? 1/5. Chips - these were okay, but by the time I’d got home (few mins drive away) they were cold! The seasoning didn’t really add much, but in my opinion cold chips are useless in any situation. They might be alright when they’re hot I guess..1/5. Gravy - this was fine, just standard chippy gravy. 3/5. I wouldn’t say avoid this place completely as I’ve had worse, but I’ve also had a lot better. Definitely avoid the chicken bites though… Giving this a 3 overall instead of a 2 as the prices are quite cheap, so if cost is your main priority then you’d probably be happy with your order. I would prefer to spend a bit more for better quality.

The chips looked like dregs of the chip bag were dumped into the fryer; chips were small and irregular pieces, some rubbery and some too tough to bite through. Large fish was big (not large) and very thin; small chunks were great! Not same quality

Quality salt and pepper chicken loaded fries. Sorted us an iced coffeee and desert too. Will be back when working in the area

Absolutely brilliant. I've been to this place about 6 times in the last 3 years. I have never been disappointed. It's a super friendly environment, that much so that my little girl likes to come in with me and say hi, because the staff are so friendly. There is an amazing selection of food, so if you fancy something different they have you covered.

Absolutely Vile!!!! Wouldn’t recommend for anyone, was driving past in the local area and thought I’d give this place a try as I regularly go past. The chap at the till was the most unpleasant person imaginable. He made dirty faces and rude looks whilst I took my time to choose what was gonna order almost as if I was wasting his time. He then proceeded to take my order and as he went back towards the kitchen uttered a racial remark which I clearly heard. The food then arrived and was honestly the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had it tasted like cardboard and like it had been left in the back room for days… the chips didn’t get much better they were frozen and uncooked in the inside. This place is a no go and wouldn’t recommend for anyone they do discriminate and leave u with a uncontrollably upset stomach the next day… very disappointing!

Name should be changed to "Rabs With a Heart." I WILL get it right next time, I promise. Food was hot and delicious - full of flavor. The portions were unbelievably generous. Thank you so much!

I'll have a bit of everything off the menu.. love the food here. We ordered the Thai and Sambali Fish Combo's, both delivered 5 stars. Classic meets fusion!

For a small family chippy the menu has somthing for everyone and the portion sizes are big. I've not had a bad meal neither has anyone I know..

Ordered a large fish in a barm. The fish was fresh and cooked in front of you and tasted absolutely 💯. The fish was not oily and can taste the crunchy batter and the fish flakes. The customer service was world class and the owner really engages with his customers. I would recommend to anyone to visit this little place of a gem.

Absolutely amazing. I don’t usually review places but I couldn’t not. The food was freshly made. The chicken was juicy and crispy. The samosas were crispy and the filling was lovely. The potato cakes were sensational, same with the fish bites. The curry sauce is absolutely incredible. No faults.

Just moved to the area. Surprised how good this was. Had the large fish and chips. Fish was fresh and batter crispy. Gravy and curry sauce were thicker and had a lot of flavour. Their version of a poutine was excellent and very flavoursome. Had the chocolate Matilda cake which was moist and very chocolatey.

This place rocks! The best fish and chips with a twist you can find! Their poutine and mixed combo boxes look amazing too! I'll be back for those! iA!

Our kids wanted McDonald and we decided with rabs it’s AMAZING!😍 the chicken wings are better than KFC the chicken nuggets are made with really chicken & reminded me of Chinese chicken balls 🤤the curry sauce is just the best ever! Best chip shop chips too. We Will definitely order here more often! The kids ate there McDonald’s & were stealing ours! & agreed next time they’ll choose rabs. The delivery was so quick as well what more could you ask for! Thank you ☺️

There was just me at Rabs he said he had just enough chips for me They tasted like they had been sat there all day. I decided they weren't my cup of tea, not a place for me to return.

These ‘fusion’ eateries are a new idea in the UK and Rab’s Chippy has taken the idea quite a few steps further. They have mixed the sauces and flavours of many a distant countries and mixed it with British Fish and Chips food. The result is an adventure for the tongue and in portions that neither of us could eat in one night, (so we have it again tonight. Yippee!) We had the Chicken Poutine. Rab’s Chippy is now on our ‘go to’ list to eat out and I look forward to exploring all of the exotic versions of chippy food on their menu.

You can't do too much to the classical fish and chips, but they do just enough to make it absolutely perfect. Loaded chips - stunningly good. Fish and fish bites awesome. Love your work guys

I went on recommendation from a friend and I guess I went on a slow day. The fish batter was awful and chewy almost like it had been re fried and I genuinely think I got served lunch times chips at tea time. They tasted old and hard. I would definitely not recommend. On the plus side if the food had of been fresh the prices were reasonable.

Our favourite local chippy. Lovely fish and chips - with a twist. The service is outstanding - and they are always friendly and go the extra mile. Samosas and pies made in house. For those who love spice the extras such as naga drizzle and fish options are bonus on the traditional dish. we wouldnt go anywhere else. Good on you lads - you deserve to succeed.

Wow! Just had a Chicken Rice box from here tonight with thai sauce, absolutely delicious. The chicken was cooked to perfection and Rab's rice is spot on. I was also served close to shutting also. This place never fails. Keep up the good work :)

Loved the poutine box however my partner couldn’t eat his Munchbox as was too spicy left a note to say no chillies but it was still very hot Pity as we have had it a few times before without the chillies 🌶️

Honestly hands down best chippy around with an asian twist. Service is 10/10 very welcoming and kind people would recommend Thai fish and chips or salt and pepper munch box !

First time I tried this was awful . Decided give it another go today trying something different as it's close . Yet again another vile meal . 2 potato fitters totally RAW!!!!! Fish bites in soft mush batter soaked in vinegar. Everything totally inedible and another 14 quid down the drain!!! RAW POTATO THOUGH!! JESUS.

Drove from Blackburn to visit after reading an article online about food places to visit in Lancashire. We ordered the Naga fish and the Thai fish. They were absolutely amazing. The service was fantastic. Will definitely be going back. If you want to try fish and chips that will make you happy Rabs is the place to go.

Drove all the way from Bradford for this place and it was so worth it. Sadiq at the till is such a hospitable and accommodating guy- you can tell he puts his life and soul in this business. The fish was amazing and well cooked, not slimey, wet and disintegrating as other chippies do. Get the naga sauce in the tub!!! It's HOT but you'll be craving it for days later. Can't wait to go back again. Thank you Sadiq for going the extra mile and making ordinary people like us feel like VIPs.

First time visiting Rabs, and it will now be our weekly treat. We had one of the box meals, and the quality of the food was of the highest standard. Also very large portion sizes. They offer much more variety than a standard chippy and we look forward to trying a different meal on the next visit. What a refreshing change 10/10 from me
