Fabulous early dinner prior to heading to the theatre. Great service, delicious food and exceptional wine. Very good advice on the wine too. It's also got a really intimate, non-pretentious atmosphere. And to top it all off, it's good value. We had three courses and a couple of drinks each. I'd been here many years ago and loved it so I was delighted to discover that it's remained just as good.

My first time here and I will definitely come back. We enjoyed the duck breast and the pork chop. Scallops were lovely too. Friendly staff and good service. Not loud which is always a bonus when you watch to catch up with your fellow diners.

I had the most delightful experience at Rabbit British Bistro. Knowing that the ingredients are sourced directly from their own farm made every bite feel fresh, authentic, and full of care. The flavors were vibrant and truly captured the essence of farm-to-table dining. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made it even better. It’s clear that they put their heart into every dish. If you’re looking for wholesome, delicious food with a personal touch, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Rabbit is an amazing tiny farm to table restaurant in the heart of Chelsea. Amazing staff and food selections in this quaint beautiful place.

I came here based on all the 5 star reviews and was really excited to eat here. However, I was sadly disappointed by the whole experience. It’s incredibly overpriced for what it is. The produce may be locally grown/foraged/wild caught, but the execution of the dishes lets that all down. The flavour combinations of the dishes didn’t work and they were all under seasoned. It also felt like they are trying to be too fancy. With quality ingredients, you don’t need to do much, they should speak for themselves. The interior is ok. We were sat at the smallest table, one chair higher than the other, the dish plates are huge, so you struggle to get two places and a side to fit. The service was also very slow, despite there not being many diners, it took a long time for our food to come out. I got the goats cheese tarts, mushroom marmite velvets eclairs, cauliflower and steak. Cheese tarts were hard to bite into, the pastry was far too hard. The eclairs were tasty. The cauliflower was way too charred, and the sauce that came with it was bland and the mushrooms didn’t go; the dish as a whole didn’t work. The steak was ok, but didn’t have much flavour and needed salt. And for £29, I expected much more, in quantities and flavour. The seasoning of all the dishes was scarce, as was the size of the dishes. I really like the idea of this place, but it doesn’t quite work. And the ambience and music don’t fit either. The bill came to just over £80. I left feeling disappointed and hungry. I will not be returning.

I loved this place and would return often if I lived in London. Each dish was delicious and well received by our table. We had a tasty array of dishes and sampled several from the beverage list. Really warm, down to earth service too.

Delicious Sunday Roast. During the week, they serve sharing plates that are great for people wanting to try lots of different things. Great place to eat venison.

Outstanding meal with excellent service. The sprouts salad and duck was particularly good. The French pastry dessert was incredible.

We were greeted warmly. We were very early diners so the place was not yet full. It certainly was when we left two hours later! Had a great house Gin Cocktail, and 3 of us shared the house bread/butter, the chorizo and the goat cheese tartlet. All delicious and served by great friendly wait staff. I had the beef rump, while friends had the duck breast and the pork. Incredibly flavorful with sides of house chips, charred cabbage and a Brussels sprout salad. We will return as we had not been to Rabbit for quite a few years and wanted to try it again. You did not disappoint and we will see you soon!

I came here about 3 weeks ago. The staff were so friendly and welcoming! The food was brilliant, I had the smoking loon Zinfandel!! OMG it was amazing!! Definitely recommend and definitely be back 5 star!!

It was our final night in London before heading home, and we decided to enjoy an authentic British meal—and what a decision it was! It turned out to be the best meal we had during our two weeks of traveling. The food was absolutely delicious, and the red wine recommended to pair with our meal was spot-on, elevating the experience even further. A special shoutout to our waiter, Casper, who truly made the evening unforgettable with his exceptional service. It was the perfect way to end our trip!

Fabulous selection of starter portions - this was a simple lunch. The sprout salad and the trout stood out. Relaxed but attentive service.

Had dinner here with my daughter was really lovely, I had the mushroom mayonnaise which was lovely and me and my daugher had the beef. Was cooked really well , really quant little restaurant , and staff treated us well.

Rushed off table after an hour and a half. The same for other customers around us. Dont expect that when working through a set menu. New manager seems very rude. Otherwise staff lovely.

El asado dominical parece ser algo en Inglaterra. Ya sea cordero, pollo, carne de res o tal vez pescado; es lo que hay para cenar. Mi compañero tenía cordero mientras yo comía carne. Ambos fueron grandes y rápidos sobre la mesa. Parece ser un restaurante muy local si no muy frecuentado. La próxima vez en Londres, sin duda visitaremos uno de los 3 - 4 restaurantes Rabbit.

Fantastic place, the Sunday roast was delicious. Service was second to none, very friendly staff and fast service despite the popularity of the establishment we we still felt like all of the staff were very attentive. A special shout out to Pricilla and Jasper, who looked after us. Precilla also speaks fluent Brazilian Portuguese which is pretty cool for overseas visitors. Highly recommend! Perfect Sunday roast. I recommend the lamb.

Worst meal ever - told we had to have the set menu for £62 a head as there were 8 of us, but wasn’t made aware when we booked. Service was poor, most of the food was cold when it arrived. The Pollock Wellington was soggy and tasteless and possibly the smallest desert ever of 2 tiny pastry cups of fruit and custard. Steak was pink when we asked for it to be well done. Room was brightly lit and hot. A really expensive disappointing meal

Priscila was a fantastic host, we were in town to celebrate a friend birthday from Brussels. She made each one of us feel at ease.

You guys were so great - it was my birthday and not only were you all very kind and friendly, you also came out with a surprise birthday dessert and had the whole restaurant sing! Very sweet and will be remembered. I’ll definitely return 😊 and YES the food was all perfection.

The place is nice. Food was good but on a Sunday lunch there's no proportion between meat and potatoes. You practically get all potatoes and carrots with very little meat. I was disappointed

I recently visited Rabbit, and while the experience had its highlights, it left room for improvement. The starters and mains were decent but lacked seasoning—everything needed salt to bring out the flavors. However, the dessert stood out as the star of the meal, truly delightful and well-executed. Overall, the meal was a bit underwhelming, but the dessert made it memorable. If I were to return, it might be just to satisfy a sweet tooth.

Cuando nos sentamos nadie vino y nos dijo hola o nos explicó el menú. El personal tardó 30 minutos y un aviso para traer una botella de agua del grifo y tomar nuestro pedido. Luego tardamos otros 20 minutos en llegar a nuestra botella de vino. Nuestros entrantes vinieron en diferentes momentos, lo que arruinó el comienzo de nuestra cena y uno de nuestros entrantes se enfrió ya que queríamos comer juntos. No hubo disculpa por esto... Cuando vinieron nuestros principales y laterales, la camarera dejó caer algunas de nuestras papas y afirmó haber agregado unas cuantas extras en la parte superior, lo que era evidente que no... simplemente dejó las que dejó caer y no obtuvimos ningún reemplazo. La camarera usó una servilleta sucia de la mesa de al lado para limpiar la mesa mientras estábamos sentados allí. Luego puso la mesa incorrectamente. Es evidente que el personal está gravemente desbordado y carece de personal. Aunque algunas de mis quejas son muy menores y pedantes, tengo un problema con ellas cuando pago £ 250 por dos personas - en este nivel se espera un servicio estelar. Mientras la comida estaba a la par, el servicio hizo de la experiencia una experiencia altamente estresante y molesta. Para eso, no vamos a volver a visitar y le diremos lo mismo a nuestros amigos.

I truly want to give Rabbit Bistro 5 stars because the food is exquisite—deeply rooted in British terroir and simply delightful. However, I felt let down by the service, particularly from the manager. Upon arrival, the restaurant was empty, yet we were initially seated at an odd table. I had to insist on a better one, which set a slightly awkward tone. I couldn’t help but wonder if our demographic influenced the service, but then I noticed an older, well-to-do British couple also struggling with similar issues, suggesting it might be a systemic problem. I asked if I could charge my dead iPhone, and while there was a reluctant agreement, I had to remove the charger from their iPad to do so. The manager seemed too preoccupied with “important tasks” to engage with us meaningfully, despite the restaurant being mostly empty except for the aforementioned couple. I casually mentioned that it was my wife’s birthday lunch—since we had a grand party planned for the evening, we sought somewhere low-key for lunch. While I wasn’t expecting a complimentary treat, I hoped for a small acknowledgment to make the occasion feel special. On a positive note, our female waitress was wonderful. She recommended the French pastry dessert, which was divine and something we had never tried before. This restaurant has the potential to be a 5-star gem, but due to the service experience, I must stick with my 2-star review. I hope they can refine their service approach, as the food truly deserves better.

Great food let down by average service. Only allotted 1.5 hours for the table so dessert was rushed and you could forget about ordering a second bottle if you wanted it. We were also only informed of the need to give up the table 5 mins after the table had to be handed over so everything was very rushed. The waiter who served us was not well trained and looked to grab the wine menu from under my guests nose as he was reading it. He also shoved a card machine in his face requesting payment at end of meal. A shame really as the food is spot on.

The food was incredible, shame the service was an absolute disgrace. We booked a table for 2 from 7:30pm to 9:30pm and were given the bill at 9:05pm because the next booking was here. Why give your guests a 2 hour window to eat at your restaurant and then force them out after an hour and a half! We weren't offered pudding and we didn't ask for the bill, it was just slammed on the table for us to pay. Throughout our meal we were told how long we had left, had our wine forcibly topped up so we would drink faster and the whole experience was a rush. The table next to us had exactly the same issue and they were allowed to stay longer and finish their meal. They were equally angry and disappointed by your restaurant.

Everything was great - food was excellent (duck, sea bass and scallops) and the service was fantastic - they gave us a complimentary glass of sparkling wine when we had to wait a couple of minutes for our table. Guste was exceptional - super friendly and very knowledgeable when it came to both the food and the wine.

I definitely recommend this place. I went with my husband twice. The Sunday roast it's very good and the portion is abundant! Today's there was a delay in our order due to system issues, but the manager was incredibly kind and over generous and offered us the whole lunch...something you don't see happening often! We will surely go back to try other dishes during the week or on a Saturday. ☺️

The best meal I’ve eaten in a very long time. The salt roasted potatoes were INCREDIBLE especially. I would say the taste, quality and how it was presented is top. I asked the chefs name as I wanted to give a shout out to him. Thanks Chef Sebby and team!

We had a wonderful dinner with 12 friends. Orlita, the manager, helped me organize everything beautifully, with a top degustation menu for the table! We’d been planning it for over a month, and she made it truly special.

A discovery. Local with a very cozy and pleasant aesthetic. The food was unusual and very delicious. The room team a 10, all very pleasant and attentive. Jazz gave us very good recommendations. Without a doubt, 100% recommended.
