I came here about 3 weeks ago. The staff were so friendly and welcoming! The food was brilliant, I had the smoking loon Zinfandel!! OMG it was amazing!! Definitely recommend and definitely be back 5 star!!

It was our final night in London before heading home, and we decided to enjoy an authentic British meal—and what a decision it was! It turned out to be the best meal we had during our two weeks of traveling. The food was absolutely delicious, and the red wine recommended to pair with our meal was spot-on, elevating the experience even further. A special shoutout to our waiter, Casper, who truly made the evening unforgettable with his exceptional service. It was the perfect way to end our trip!

Fabulous selection of starter portions - this was a simple lunch. The sprout salad and the trout stood out. Relaxed but attentive service.

Had dinner here with my daughter was really lovely, I had the mushroom mayonnaise which was lovely and me and my daugher had the beef. Was cooked really well , really quant little restaurant , and staff treated us well.

Fantastic place, the Sunday roast was delicious. Service was second to none, very friendly staff and fast service despite the popularity of the establishment we we still felt like all of the staff were very attentive. A special shout out to Pricilla and Jasper, who looked after us. Precilla also speaks fluent Brazilian Portuguese which is pretty cool for overseas visitors. Highly recommend! Perfect Sunday roast. I recommend the lamb.

Worst meal ever - told we had to have the set menu for £62 a head as there were 8 of us, but wasn’t made aware when we booked. Service was poor, most of the food was cold when it arrived. The Pollock Wellington was soggy and tasteless and possibly the smallest desert ever of 2 tiny pastry cups of fruit and custard. Steak was pink when we asked for it to be well done. Room was brightly lit and hot. A really expensive disappointing meal

You guys were so great - it was my birthday and not only were you all very kind and friendly, you also came out with a surprise birthday dessert and had the whole restaurant sing! Very sweet and will be remembered. I’ll definitely return 😊 and YES the food was all perfection.

The place is nice. Food was good but on a Sunday lunch there's no proportion between meat and potatoes. You practically get all potatoes and carrots with very little meat. I was disappointed

I recently visited Rabbit, and while the experience had its highlights, it left room for improvement. The starters and mains were decent but lacked seasoning—everything needed salt to bring out the flavors. However, the dessert stood out as the star of the meal, truly delightful and well-executed. Overall, the meal was a bit underwhelming, but the dessert made it memorable. If I were to return, it might be just to satisfy a sweet tooth.

I truly want to give Rabbit Bistro 5 stars because the food is exquisite—deeply rooted in British terroir and simply delightful. However, I felt let down by the service, particularly from the manager. Upon arrival, the restaurant was empty, yet we were initially seated at an odd table. I had to insist on a better one, which set a slightly awkward tone. I couldn’t help but wonder if our demographic influenced the service, but then I noticed an older, well-to-do British couple also struggling with similar issues, suggesting it might be a systemic problem. I asked if I could charge my dead iPhone, and while there was a reluctant agreement, I had to remove the charger from their iPad to do so. The manager seemed too preoccupied with “important tasks” to engage with us meaningfully, despite the restaurant being mostly empty except for the aforementioned couple. I casually mentioned that it was my wife’s birthday lunch—since we had a grand party planned for the evening, we sought somewhere low-key for lunch. While I wasn’t expecting a complimentary treat, I hoped for a small acknowledgment to make the occasion feel special. On a positive note, our female waitress was wonderful. She recommended the French pastry dessert, which was divine and something we had never tried before. This restaurant has the potential to be a 5-star gem, but due to the service experience, I must stick with my 2-star review. I hope they can refine their service approach, as the food truly deserves better.

Great food let down by average service. Only allotted 1.5 hours for the table so dessert was rushed and you could forget about ordering a second bottle if you wanted it. We were also only informed of the need to give up the table 5 mins after the table had to be handed over so everything was very rushed. The waiter who served us was not well trained and looked to grab the wine menu from under my guests nose as he was reading it. He also shoved a card machine in his face requesting payment at end of meal. A shame really as the food is spot on.

Everything was great - food was excellent (duck, sea bass and scallops) and the service was fantastic - they gave us a complimentary glass of sparkling wine when we had to wait a couple of minutes for our table. Guste was exceptional - super friendly and very knowledgeable when it came to both the food and the wine.

We had a wonderful dinner with 12 friends. Orlita, the manager, helped me organize everything beautifully, with a top degustation menu for the table! We’d been planning it for over a month, and she made it truly special.

I definitely recommend this place. I went with my husband twice. The Sunday roast it's very good and the portion is abundant! Today's there was a delay in our order due to system issues, but the manager was incredibly kind and over generous and offered us the whole lunch...something you don't see happening often! We will surely go back to try other dishes during the week or on a Saturday. ☺️

The best meal I’ve eaten in a very long time. The salt roasted potatoes were INCREDIBLE especially. I would say the taste, quality and how it was presented is top. I asked the chefs name as I wanted to give a shout out to him. Thanks Chef Sebby and team!

The food was incredible, shame the service was an absolute disgrace. We booked a table for 2 from 7:30pm to 9:30pm and were given the bill at 9:05pm because the next booking was here. Why give your guests a 2 hour window to eat at your restaurant and then force them out after an hour and a half! We weren't offered pudding and we didn't ask for the bill, it was just slammed on the table for us to pay. Throughout our meal we were told how long we had left, had our wine forcibly topped up so we would drink faster and the whole experience was a rush. The table next to us had exactly the same issue and they were allowed to stay longer and finish their meal. They were equally angry and disappointed by your restaurant.

The Tasting Menu was superb. Great combination of dishes. Loved that the food is seasonal and sourced from the farm. The chef (Connor) clearly has a flair with flavours and attention to detail. Each course was so well presented. Thank you for specially swapping in 2 delicious fish dishes as I'm a pescatarian. The restaurant has such a friendly team which adds to the dining experience. Orlita looked after us extremely well; knowledgeable about the food and smoothly guided us through the 7 courses. I will definitely be returning.

What a huge disappointment. I had my family visiting me in London and was really looking forward to visiting Rabbit as it looked like a warm and cosy restaurant. Whilst the food was average (we had the Sunday roast), what shocked me the most was the appalling customer service. To begin with, we accidentally entered the restaurant through the back door (why it was unlocked and had ‘Rabbit’ sign just above that entrance outside is still unclear to me). Upon entering the restaurant, we heard the waitress rudely shouting at us to come through the front door. That did not set a welcoming tone from the very first second. Then, we were sat at Table 6 (on Sunday, 6th October at 6pm) and being served by the same waitress. Whilst arranging ourselves to sit down (we were a group of six people), we apparently got in the way of the same waitress who again rudely shouted ‘to get out of the way’. I am not even joking-quoting word by word. She did say please for the completeness sake, however, the tone was, again, absolutely inappropriate. I then enquired about an item which was not on the menu but on the meal board. The item we wanted to order was entrecote. When I asked the waitress if they had it, the waitress replied ‘we only have what’s on the menu’ with me most condescending and sassy tone I have heard coming out of a person in customer service ever. This time, I did not have it and rudely stated that we saw it on the board. The waitress realised we were not being crazy and that she forgot to erase entrecote from the board which she seemed at least embarrassed about (at last!). The above experience is enough for me not to come back to the restaurant, as well as enough to not recommend it to others. I suggest you review your staff’s ability to serve your customers.

What a disappointment! Had read all the great reviews about this place but our experience was abysmal. It took 30 mins before we were even offered some water let alone anything else. The front of house constantly kept apologising for the bad service but nothing improved from start to finish. When the food finally arrived over an hour later we found only some of the food was ok, some undercooked, some cold. After our main course was cleared away - when one of our party was still eating - we received no further service. No offer of deserts or coffee or anything else. Front of house came to apologies once again when we refused to pay the service charge with excuses about new staff who hadn’t had the opportunity to be trained properly and staff illness. We booked this two weeks in advance and yet they were taking walk ins knowing they were inadequately staffed. I liked the ethos of the home based sourcing of the ingredients but I think this is just a scam! What’s worse is that we’d booked this for a friend who’d come from Paris to celebrate her birthday. The front of house said that if we came back we would be given free champagne and our experience would be much better. Not putting that to the test! Can spend my hard earned money in places where they know how to run a restaurant and cook properly

We chose Rabbit for a surprise birthday party last weekend, taking the whole of the back room. The food was out of this world. The service was charming and efficient. The atmosphere was just the right degree of warm and informal. We all had a wonderful wonderful time, and a number of friends left saying that Rabbit was their new fave resto in the area. Joao and Orlita guided my choices wisely ahead of time and delivered with style and panache on the night. Thank you, Rabbit -- you really did the business!!

You feel the soul of this restaurant from the moment you walk in. You are greeted with warm, known you all my life, service - even on a first visit. The food was exceptional, the passion is evident and the bill was a pleasant surprise. Couldn't rate more highly - check out the Nutbourne wine menu - delicious.

Being in London our first night, we decided to dine at this restaurant and it superceded all our expectations! Not only was the food cooked to perfection but our waiter FABIO was very knowledgeable on the menu and provided the utmost experience to end our evening! We celebrated my parents' 50th wedding anniversary here before attending a local concert, and it was truly a wonderful meal. We were a large (and likely annoying) American group, and not only did the service exceed expectations, everyone was kind, helpful, and generous. And the FOOD!--my goodness, the food. Everything was fantastic. I wanted to lick my plate after trying the local burrata and honey, the scallops, and chargrilled cabbage especially, but the duck was also delicious. I travel to London regularly for work and would love to take coworkers here!

What to say about Rabbit? Everything was fantastic. The food was wonderful (omg the marmite eclair and the Sunday roast) and the staff was even better. Orlita is wonderful hospitable, made us feel warm and welcome. 10/10 will be back next time I'm in London!

My friends and I walked into this restaurant during a busy lunch period and were pleasantly surprised by how quickly we were seated. The tapas-style menu was perfect for sharing, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious! The flavors were vibrant, and the portions were just right for sampling a variety of dishes. The wine menu was extensive and we especially appreciated the local produce focus of the menu.

Somewhat chaotic, but pleasant service. Only vegetarian main course was an undercooked cauliflower with a tiny bit of seasoning for almost 20 quid. Atmosphere nice. Menu font so tiny, unreadable by any one over 50.
