What a disappointment! Had read all the great reviews about this place but our experience was abysmal. It took 30 mins before we were even offered some water let alone anything else. The front of house constantly kept apologising for the bad service but nothing improved from start to finish. When the food finally arrived over an hour later we found only some of the food was ok, some undercooked, some cold. After our main course was cleared away - when one of our party was still eating - we received no further service. No offer of deserts or coffee or anything else. Front of house came to apologies once again when we refused to pay the service charge with excuses about new staff who hadn’t had the opportunity to be trained properly and staff illness. We booked this two weeks in advance and yet they were taking walk ins knowing they were inadequately staffed. I liked the ethos of the home based sourcing of the ingredients but I think this is just a scam! What’s worse is that we’d booked this for a friend who’d come from Paris to celebrate her birthday. The front of house said that if we came back we would be given free champagne and our experience would be much better. Not putting that to the test! Can spend my hard earned money in places where they know how to run a restaurant and cook properly

My friends and I walked into this restaurant during a busy lunch period and were pleasantly surprised by how quickly we were seated. The tapas-style menu was perfect for sharing, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious! The flavors were vibrant, and the portions were just right for sampling a variety of dishes. The wine menu was extensive and we especially appreciated the local produce focus of the menu.

This was our third visit to Rabbit, though the most recent earlier one was before Covid. In the interval, they have added some kind of roaster which achieves brilliant results. We had as fine a meal as we have had in recent memory. Our starters were a version of a salmon crudo (which the menu called trout tartare). I have no idea what kind of trout it was, and know that some are indeed red-fleshed, but whatever it was, this tasted like salmon with herbs and something a little crunchy and was delicious. Our other starter was beets with goat cheese and fennel, less distinctive but totally pleasant. We shared both starters as we did all the courses. Our entrees were roast venison with what looked like trumpet mushrooms, and roast duck with blackberry sauce what looked liked a grilled red leaf endive. Both were amazingly good; the venison was the best I have ever had (this was moist and flavorful, when this meat is too often dry). A "set pudding" (like panna cotta) finished our meal and was both pleasant and not overly sweet. We also fully enjoyed a carafe of an excellent Rhone red. I can't say enough good things about this dining experience. It was utterly perfect, and I can't remember when I last said that about a restaurant, if ever.

Booked a table for 7.30 and got thrown out at 9. They had sent a. Email saying 9.30. Objectionable tall waitress from the beginning. No one took our order until we called them. Had to call every time we wanted anything no salt and pepper on the table incredibly noisy. Food was ok though just not a very enjoyable experience

We have gone to this restaurant for years and the food has always been good, until recently. The first time we noticed a difference was during their Sunday roast. As this wasn’t the usual menu we thought that it was an exception. But today we tried went there again and the bread had changed for the worse, before it was darker and a lot more flavourful now it is a standard white loaf, the starter was good, we had the venison croquettes and marrow tempura and as a main the pork loin, it was dry, we had trouble getting through the meat with a stake knife. It was such a disappointment as it sounded delicious on the menu. It is such a nice restaurant so I hope that this is temporary, apart from that the service was really good. But the bill for the lunch set menu came to a total of approx £85 (for three people ) which it wasn’t worth.

The food was fine, nothing spectacular. We shared the sea bass and the cauliflower - both were decent but didn't blow our socks off. Same with the ravioli starter. The vanilla cream dessert on the other hand was delicious. Service was also fine - attentive and polite.

Charismatic waiter was enthusiastic and you could tell loved the product. Great help with the process and recommendations. We were not drinking, but the white wine selection from their own vineyard looked great. Food was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Love sharing plates. You get to taste so much more

We had a lovely lunch at Rabbit this week. We order the sea bass, cauliflower and Hispi cabbage all cooked on the rabata grill and using seasonal ingredients which was a great touch. I should add that the restaurant has been recently renovated and has a great ambience. Service was fantastic as always and a huge thank you to Guste and Joao for the hospitality.

I’ll start by saying I leave a lot of reviews and not many bad one (look at my record). I think going viral and getting traffic from a YouTube video has gotten to this business. We had a 12pm booking for 3 with a baby. We arrived at 11.58 while it was raining and asked if we could come in. No eye contact was made the door was closed and we were told they open at 12. No problem we’ll go walk in the rain when we could have just come in and waited for you to open. The rude person at the door has absolutely no customer service skills. We came back and he was on his laptop at 12.10(didn’t want to come too early). I told my wife let’s go spend our money elsewhere. Really disappointed because we actually were over from Australia.

Rabbit was a great place to celebrate our engagement! The service was very friendly, and Orlita helped make our evening even more special. We entered the restaurant at the end of lunch when it was empty. Yet, I felt uncomfortable being shown to a table in the middle of an uncomfortable floor. If you are in a rickety restaurant, ask your guests what they prefer at their table. I didn't feel like eating much and oohed and ahhed over a few dishes, but the taste was average and the price was high. Good, I was right not to order a lot. I didn't feel particularly inclined to come back.

This was a very cozy little restaurant with an exciting menu that offered classic favourites with a little twist. We ate fairly late in the evening, and they were very accommodating. Every dish was a hit - I don't usually like marmite, but the marmite éclair was surprisingly good! The homemade wild yeast bread and fig leaf butter were melt in mouth delicious. Highly recommend the lamb and the beef flank, which were divinely cooked. Our server was lovely and made very good recommendations!

it was good but not great. Eclairs were yummy, potatoes were creative, croquettes were delish, but huge miss on the others- the sardines on toast, was a chewy old piece of bread, and the truffle pasta was tasteless, the gin special drink was pure sugar, and the white chocolate cake was also pure sugar, not complex enough. The steak was also very chewy. Very underwhelmed and mislead by the cute and charming vibe I spotted from the street. Great music and atmosphere though 10/10 ! Glad we went, but would not go back. :,(

They have vegetarian sunday roast but offered non-vegetarian gravy so do not recommend for vegetarians. Other food was good but terrible service. Although half of beef was fat and chicken was tiny. The worst was the service. All the staffs were kind of rude. They were trying to take the away the dishes while we were obviously not done with it. When I asked why the price of the food on the bill is different from the menu, the staff told me to pay £2 less without any apologies. All of our group were very unhappy with the service. It'll be my first and the last visit. I would recommend for those who wants to have expensive grilled carrots.

The best lunch in London. It is a healthy restaurant where you can enjoy the taste of nature without being expensive. It is best to eat a course meal for weekday lunch. I recommend visiting and seeing the Saatchi Gallery in the morning. The wine collection is also great. The butter is really delicious. It's not a bad review, but it's so delicious, so I'll just go.

Was excited to try this place for Sunday lunch given all the good reviews and the interior aesthetic. However, we were very disappointed by terrible service (staff looked like they were actively trying to ignore customers that were attempting to get their attention) and very average food. There was a lack of seasoning on the Sunday roast, so pretty much every table was asking for more gravy just to give it some flavour. Watch out for the whopping 13.5% service charge. Totally undeserved here.

Only stars are here for the cooks, the atmosphere, and for the maybe one person who knew what he was doing on the floor. This place is terribly let down by the wait staff. It took over 20 minutes to even get water that we had to ask for more than once. Many things were not available on the menu, but we were not told until we ordered them. Then 15 minutes later told there was only one of an ordered item and someone would have to change their order. I was told a cocktail on the small cocktail list was not available but then, after 20 minutes waiting for wine we ordered, was told they could make the cocktail. (Gimlet, which is quite standard for any bar.) Then I had my order 15 minutes later than the others. Orders were forgotten, reminded by us, forgotten again. We were given different information about nearly everything we ordered on the menu, the table was only half cleared, glasses, plates and cutlery were constantly dropped and knocked over. Not one part of this process was smooth. Before it was even late, and before we even started our mains (which was all delayed of course due to the malarkey mentioned above, the lights went bright, then less bright then bright then less. We had our mains in a brightly-lit room for reasons unknown, other than perhaps they wanted us to eat quickly? The food and the roast is lovely. It’s too bad, I cannot bring myself to return.

Overall a very poor experience. Had to pay for booking, not really sure why because it was very quiet. Had to pay 13.5% for service, again not sure why because there was literally no service at all. Staff were constantly swearing nearby, staff were unenthusiastic and unmotivated. Sunday roast was average at best. Portions were small considering the price. The only real selling point was the sustainability and local aspect. Wouldn’t visit again. The area was nice though.

We saw the Michelin sign so reserved for our anniversary with my husband. I don’t know if it was because we expected too much, but we left there with a lot of disappointment. The price was okay considering its location, but the food quality was nothing more than big food chain to be honest. Every dish we had was with uncomfortable mixture of cold and warm temperature, and not enough seasoning / salt. We could bot even figure out how these dishes are supposed to be. We didn’t even feel like trying dessert and when I paid the bill the staff was quite rude which made us even worse.

Came here for a special dinner for my mother in laws birthday, we had a nice table in the window service was decent although having to get up and find my own salt and pepper but the food was just ok for the price. Very expensive for such small portions, we paid £25 for two sides of asparagus and in total there were only 8 spears, 4 on each plate they were tiny... TWENTY FIVE POUNDS for 8 spears of asparagus is totally insane. I had the stonebass fish which was rather bland and luke warm, again, also a small portion. Slightly disappointed, had the portions been bigger it might of made up for the lack of flavour, at least would of had a full stomach.

To say I had a biblical experience would be an understatement. The food, ambience, waiters, music were all incredible!! I have not found such fresh and delicious food anywhere else but here, with such incredible quality. The ability to make marmite eclair taste so insanely good is Oscar worthy. Yes the prices may be slightly high but all is worth it! I’d like to thanks the lovely waiters for the incredible service which only helped boost the memorable experience me and my mother had here today. I will be recommending to everyone I know.

The only downside to the entire experience was a group that decided the entire restaurant needed to be disrupted by their party. Very disappointing. From reading people’s reviews I thought if nothing else, we would have great service… we had the most basic, impersonal service imaginable, the serving staff barely looked us in the eye or bothered engaging in conversation. The food was not awful but not worth the money at all. The courgette flower tempura was really delicious but our other starter of roasted tomatoes lacked seasoning, and our main course of steak was not rested properly and therefore very chewy and bled all over the plate. Not sure if we just went on an off day, but wouldn’t recommend!

Everything was delicious. The beef, potato, and asparagus were perfectly harmonious and flavorful. We had the ravioli as a starter, but it’s also great on its own. The tomato and burrata weren’t particularly special, so I wouldn’t recommend them. However, the goat cheese tartine was excellent on its own.

I am not sure what went wrong yesterday, as I've been before and it was nice. But yesterday was simply embarrassing. There was no service. It took forever to get our drinks, then I had to go and find a waitress to take our order. We waited for 30 minutes to get 3 tiny plates, one of them was presented as a 'main'. I am familiar with the concept of this place, but charging 18 pounds for a thin slice of celeriac with 3 mushrooms?? That's just rude. There was a 13.5% charge for service for the non existing service we got. I was literally embarrassed in front of my colleague for choosing this place. Never coming back

Such lovely lovely people! Have been walking past here for work for quite a while and today I finally managed a visit. I sat at their single outdoor table on the King's Road and had the BEST couple of hours of relaxation and WONDERFUL food and drink. I knew it would be amazing but my already high expectations were exceeded. I just love this place.

Our first time at the Rabbit and it was amazing. We had friends and family in town and chose a new place. All 6 of us loved the food, the atmosphere and the staff. It has a lot of light and we loved the decor! We will be going back again soon!

Great restaurant. Fresh take on farm to table. Thoughtful menu. A piece of roasted chicken that has all the spices of pho. Genius. Never had potatoes prepped like that. Hummus was excellent. A fresh and rewarding gimlet.

Amazing quality of food, not over complicated dishes in the best way letting the quality shine. Almost feels like the restaurant is attached to their farm even though it’s in the heart of London

Sunday lunch. The food was excellent, and the staff were pleasant and friendly. The starters were somewhat small, though that was fine given we were following with a Sunday Roast. Excellent selection of wines.
