Eaten from here many times over the years as a family foods always been cooked to perfection and staff are lovely and polite. 5 star service

Nicest chippie in County Down. Ok I had lunch so maybe it does be busy or rushed but reading the other reviews i think it's unfair. I am not usually keen on chippie food as I had never found one that 'hit the spot' but this place is delicious. Even my Mum agrees and shes the fussiest eater around, she made us drive to Annalong or Kilkeel for years but thankfully she thinks the cod is flaky, white and dry out of here. I had the chicken Maryland and it was very very good. Excellent value for money. The chicken is white with no gristle or veins. Everything really was cooked to perfection. Also I usually always leave leftovers but it was so yummy I kept eating, only left a few onions from the salad.I'll definitely be back. Weekly maybe

We only go here out of convenience and it will be the last time. Please note it isn't a one off or bad day, these guys are very bad, read the other lower scored reviews. Anyway...how disappointing to open my burger and find its a sloppy mess topped with a sloppy salad. Does it look appetising? Definitely not. To add insult there's a black hair stuck to one of the chips its vile. Who wants that? I would have taken a picture as well but I was so angry I threw it immediately in the bin. Reading other reviews they have served up raw chicken and seriously bad cheese. How do these guys get away with such a sh*t service and serious lack of hygiene? Have they shortages on salt and vinegar? Every order placed in the past they always miss the basics of a chippy. Even when they are reminded its still missing. Finally they are very slow and late with orders on a regular basis. We are not talking a little slow where you think it's okay and worth it because the food is nice. We are talking over an hour late with your order slow and to finish it off the food is sh*te. Again spend your hard earned money elsewhere and with a local business that actually cares about their customers, reputation and service.

We as a family have got food from Quins on quite a few occasions, the food has always been 1st class and I have great banter with the owners and staff.Bad feedback should always be taken with a large pinch of salt (and a splash of vinegar).

As a Crossgar resident our family have had a few meals from Quinns.They often make a mistake with the order, however we return.The last 4 orders we have made have been wrong and late. I understand they are busy and mistakes make us human.However ignorance is unacceptable. We ordered at 4:30 for collection at 6:30. we arrived at 6:30 and they said it was being prepared....30mins later I called Andrew over (the owner) asked where the order was...his response was disgusting + embarrassing. I collected the order and asked for his private number to speak to him when he was less busy....once again his response was ignorant and unacceptable.O Yeah and of course when I got back home the order was wrong.I WILL NOT NOT BE BACK! MY MONEY IS GOING TO THOSE WHO DESERVE + APPRECIATE IT!As for COVID 19 Customers entered the premises without masks and were not challenged or asked to sanitise and only a few of the staff were wearing masks.deeply disappointing...

Called to place phone order - staff put the phone down before I finished placing my order.Collected the order, member of staff was very polite - however opened my order and there was maggots in the cheese.Took it back to counter and there was no apologies or communication from staff.Avoid!!

Second time I’ve received raw chicken from this chippy. Also forgot part off the order missing. A meat probe doesn’t cost that much maybe invest in one. Never again

Got a curried chip that was like a child's portion. Mean pportions. Won't be back & I do not recommend this chippy.

Called into quinns chippy today great service very clean shop and good staff the food we got was outstanding and we will be back thanks

I saw staff lifting cooked food with bare hands- right in front of customers - absolutely disgraceful.

Was in today for the first time and asked about the gravy’s which was the nicer and the fella who served me let me try both with a few chips and it didn’t disappoint..plus really good service

Some of the order missing and gave tinned peas when mushy peas requested. How does a chippy not know what mushy peas are.

Food is OK, but the waits are not worth it, you stand there like an idiot in the shop waiting and waiting whilst people walk in and get their orders served up because they have rang ahead _ this place really needs to review their system I won't be back.

I like trying new places and decided to give this one a try.On entering, I was greeted by a friendly member of staff. Some people were waiting for their order. I looked at the menu boards which weren't grouped together but separated by photos of meal deals. Not exactly easy to read the entire menu whilst at the counter but I placed order and took a seat. Whilst waiting, I heard the staff talking and a female was talking about cutting her hand which required four stitches, shortly afterwards I observed this female handle a customers cooked fish with her bare hand and when I was collecting my order I saw that her right hand had large sticking plasters on it but she wasn't wearing any protective gloves. The hygiene in this place is seriously in doubt. On returning home, I found that the food rated amongst the top five of the WORST meals I have ever tasted.I won't be returning. Unfortunately the lowest rating I can give this place is a one but I would rate it at a minus if I could.

Normalmente el pollo y patatas fritas aquí están bien, pero esta noche estaban algo. Yo había viajado en un distanciado y llegando a casa me decepcionó con la calidad de la comida comprada, no intenta comer la comida pero me como el pollo tenía la piel dura y aspecto de recocido que había sido hecho antes y colocado bajo un calentador. Me preocupaba el hecho de que un negocio espera clientes a consumir esta comida poco apetecibles.

Great carry out. Good menu and food freshly cooked. I really like the spicy dippers with kebab sauce. Tonight's was as good as always.

Have never had a bad meal from this chippy. Service is always friendly and reasonably fast. Would have no problem recommending.

Had a excellent experience in quinns staff very friendly and the food was gorgeous.. will definitely be returning

Called in after leaving girls off must said im a fussy person when it comes to Chippy food and by God the food is outstanding. chips just the way I like them good portions chicken Burgers melt in your mouth staff very helpful and really nice will be back am from Newtownards and will be travelling to get food as never had nice food like in Quinn's

comida para llevar sin lujos pero GRT especialmente las patatas fritas maltratada salchichas y empanadas personal puede ser a veces un poco brusco si pides latas realmente frías de soda pero aún así vale la pena! Nunca pude entender por qué llegar a la parte trasera de la nevera es un problema, nunca tuvimos una mala comida pero las raciones parecen variar en tamaño dependiendo de que sirve y el ambiente son! Todavía no me puedo quejar de la definición de calidad.

Sorry to say have tried here a few times recently and we have been consistently disappointed long waits combined with poor food and small portions mean we won't be back

This review is basex on our last 4 visits for carryout food. The food is usually good...depends who cooks it. But whst dusappointed us is our last 4 order were wrong. We only discovered this when we got home and unwrapped the food(we live over 3 miles from the chippy).

On occasions the food is good but on our last visit the chicken was overdone and chips were soggy. Not up to standard we would expect.

food was of low standard, place was unclean I do not think i will be visiting this place again anytime soon

Quinn's is a great fast food outlet. Great menu, plenty to choose from.Never had any complaints, food always freshly cooked.

Best food for miles haven't been let down let. Staff are always friendly rarely a long wait even when it is busy would not go to another chippy

Have been here several times and wouldn't go anywhere else. Food is lovely, cooked well and tasty. Its always consistent as well, we have never had a bad one or even an average one. Kids portions are enough for me. They are packed. There is a bit of a wait on weekends etc but just phone it in beforehand. Enjoy!

A brilliant variety of take away options to choose from, including fresh fish, kebabs, meal deals and the chips are freshly made....fantastic!!If you are there between 4-7 on a Friday/Saturday, be prepared to wait though as it can get very busy - phone your order in beforehand!

i was starving working in the cold winter, so warm grub was welcome. but i was surprised!! for a fast food dispenser i couldnt believe it.. they actually cook the chips!! unlike so many chippys who just dunk them in oil this place cooks the chips really really well, curry sauce has a nice bite, and the portions are generous, daughter got a snack box but it was really well packed, staff are polite -surprised that even the younger members of staff can actually hold a conversation!!-prices are reasonable i will and do use this take away often, to them i say: please keep up the high standards
